COD Mobile Season 3 — Paranoia is live from March 18, and it’s a packed one. Alongside a new gameplay mode, a new weapon, and a new Battle Royale class, the season brings two very different collaborations — the return of NieR: Automata and the completely unexpected arrival of Pop Team Epic.

NieR: Automata Returns — What You Can Earn
The NieR: Automata collab is back across two Lucky Draws. Kestrel as YoRHa No. 2 Type B (2B) headlines the first Draw, featuring the legendary PP19 Bizon — Will of Ruins and two melee weapons. The second Draw puts Fiona St. George as Commander White front and centre, alongside the legendary AK-47 — The Pray of the End and two additional melee weapons.
Players can also earn the Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S (9S) Operator Skin for free by completing the in-game event — the standout earnable reward of the season for NieR fans.
Pop Team Epic Is Here and It’s Exactly What You’d Expect
This one’s pure chaotic fun. Pop Team Epic brings Popuko and Pipimi into COD Mobile through a comic panel puzzle-collecting challenge — unlock panels to earn themed Weapon Blueprints, Camos, an Emote, Calling Card, Weapon Charm, Spray, and more. The Pop Team Epic Strongbox adds over a dozen additional themed items including a Grenade Skin, Backpack, and Vehicle Skin.
It’s a deeply weird crossover that somehow works perfectly in a season themed around paranoia and cosmic horror.

DMZ: Recon Quick Play and Other Gameplay Additions
The new DMZ: Recon Quick Play condenses extraction matches into a smaller section of Serpent Island — covering Kurohana Base, Observatory, Port, and nearby POIs — for faster, more intense loops. The MX Guardian full-auto 12-gauge shotgun joins as the season’s new weapon, and the Tactical Mirror Battle Royale class lets squads duplicate high-tier loot and ammo via a deployable device.
