CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin Is A Handsome And Affectionate Doctor In New Drama “What A Boss Wants”

Fans of CNBLUE’s Lee Jung Shin have a new character to meet. MBN’s upcoming Wednesday-Thursday drama What a Boss Wants has released stills of Lee Jung Shin in role, and they show him as one of the warmest characters in the cast. The drama is set to premiere on November 11.

What Is the Drama About?

Based on a web novel of the same name, What a Boss Wants is a romance drama. Sung Hoon plays Kwon Do Hyuk, a chaebol boss with zero sense of taste. He sets out to find the woman whose voice he heard on an album. Oh Se Young plays Lee Eun Chae, the lead vocalist of an indie band, who becomes the only variable in his otherwise perfect life. It’s a story where music, fate and a slightly unusual quirk drive the romance.

Meet Moon Tae Kyung

Lee Jung Shin plays Moon Tae Kyung, a handsome and warm pediatrician. In the stills, his bright smile reflects a cheerful, approachable character who feels comfortable with anyone. It’s a friendly, dependable role, and it should offer a nice contrast to the chaebol boss at the centre of the story.

The Off-Duty Style

The stills also show him out of the doctor’s coat. He pulls off casual looks ranging from denim jackets to leather jackets, with a fluffy hairstyle and a gentle gaze that suit his signature puppy-like charm. It’s a soft, approachable look that fits the character’s personality.

What the Production Team Says?

The production team says Lee Jung Shin is naturally bringing out Moon Tae Kyung’s unique charm through soft vibes and bright energy. They describe the character as a “hexagonal man,” meaning someone who’s perfect in every way, with looks, ability and the thoughtfulness to put others first. They also say viewers will see a new side of the actor in the role.

Why It’s Worth Watching

A romance built around a voice on an album is a nice hook, and a kind pediatrician is the kind of supporting character that often steals scenes. In the meantime, you can watch Lee Jung Shin in Cinderella and Four Knights on Viki. For more, browse our K-drama news on Technosports and our Korean drama release guide.
