The first affordable phone’s pricing and specifications, including its display from Nothing, surfaced online before the formal debut of the CMF Phone 1 in India on July 8. As per the rumors, the phone will probably face fierce competition from the current sub-20,000 device market, since many of them have Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoCs or Dimensity 7020 chips, which are less powerful.

CMF Phone 1 specifications and rumored details

It is expected that the new CMF Phone 1 to have a super AMOLED display with a centrally aligned punch-hole camera. The forthcoming CMF by Nothing phone will reportedly have a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, according to the referenced source. The gadget will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

Also, a brief video clip of the Phone 1 and the screw on its back was posted by Carl Pei-led startup CMF on X, formerly known as Twitter. The included screwdriver, which can also be used as a SIM ejector tool, is seen in the teaser video unscrewing it. This implies that there may be a detachable back plate.

The CMF Phone 1 is expected to support 33W fast charging and feature a battery capacity of 5,000mAh, which is characteristic of many mid-range phones. Although he hasn’t brought up the charger, we can be certain that the business won’t include one because it hasn’t done so even with high-end phones. Last but not least, the CMF phone is powered by Android 14 at the moment.

Also, this smartphone is expected to launch at the price of Rs 15,999 for 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and will cost Rs 17,999 with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage after some bank discounts.
