Is ‘The Family Plan’ Trailer Available?

Indeed! You can see the official trailer for The Family Plan, which was published on November 6, above.

Mark Wahlberg seemed to be enjoying his role as retired assassin Dan, who is brought out of his suburban slumber and back into a life he wishes to leave behind. The movie is jam-packed with action and humor. Dan observes, “Nothing brings the family together like a road trip,” as his gullible wife becomes thrilled about the idea of taking a vacation to Vegas, only for the trip to accomplish the exact opposite of what Dan had predicted.

Cast of The Family Plan

Naturally, Mark Wahlberg plays Dan Morgan, a family man, in the film’s starring role. Actor, producer, and even musician Mark Wahlberg has a long list of successful movies to his credit, including Daddy’s Home, Boogie Nights, The Italian Job, Lone Survivor, and Uncharted. Additionally, he will appear in the Netflix original film The Union (formerly known as Our Man From Jersey) with actors such as Halle Berry and J.K. Simmons, which is scheduled to launch in 2024.

Michelle Monaghan, who is most recognized for her parts in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Gone Baby Gone, plays Dan’s devoted wife. Children Nina and enthusiastic gamer Kyle, portrayed by Zoe Margaret Colletti and Van Crosby, respectively, complete the Morgan family.

Ciarán Hinds (Belfast), Maggie Q (Divergent), Saïd Taghmaoui (Wonder Woman), and Jonny Coyne (Bodies) are among the other members of the ensemble cast of the movie.
In addition, Twitch streamer iiTzTimmy, who presently plays under Valkyrae’s previously mentioned gaming firm, and live-streamer and YouTube sensation Valkyrae, co-owner of 100 Thieves, make their feature film debuts in The Family Plan.

What Does ‘The Family Plan’ Cover?

“Dan Morgan (Mark Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three, and successful car salesman,” says the movie’s synopsis. But that just tells part of the tale. He was an elite government assassin decades ago, assigned to take down the worst threats on the planet. Dan loads his gullible wife (Michelle Monaghan), angry teen daughter, pro-gaming teen son, and cute 10-month-old baby into their minivan and heads out on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas when adversaries from his past find him. Dan must awaken his long-dormant skills without disclosing his true identity in order to safeguard his family and give them the trip of a lifetime.”

A normal suburban family is thrown into the sophisticated world of spies and assassins in what appears to be a winning comedic formula poised to entertain a global audience. Dan is the former agent we all wish we were and the family man we all know we are—a man who transitioned from clandestine operations to changing diapers. Fans of Wahlberg are eager to see him take on a lot of thrills, spills, and the payment of some home expenses as a tranquil domesticated life becomes full James Bond, with a fast-paced platter of action and comedy set to be served to theatergoers.

By Whom Is “The Family Plan” Made?

Mark Wahlberg’s production business, Municipal Pictures, will produce The Family Plan, as previously stated. In addition, John G. Scotti (The Muppets) is the executive producer. Producers David Ellison (Top Gun: Maverick), Dana Goldberg (I Am Legend), Don Grainger (Annihilation), and Stephen Levinson (Ballers) are also involved. The script was written by David Coggeshall, who also directed Simon Cellan Jones in the 2022 horror prequel Orphan: First Kill.

“The Family Plan is a crazy rush of joyful energy that’s fun for the entire family,” Jones stated in a press statement. The Morgan Family is playing with very high stakes, so I want viewers leave the movie feeling like they know the characters and thinking what their own family would do in a similar circumstance. The Morgans are no different from the rest of us in realizing how simple it is to become mired in the monotony and rut of daily existence. However, I believe you will adore their trip.

Above all, it’s about enjoying yourself. The typical father played by Mark Wahlberg is haunted by his past and is forced to take his children on an amusing road trip to Vegas. All I can say is that I have never had so much fun filming a movie as I did with this one. Put on your seat belts now!”
