After 17 days in theatres, Drishyam 3 is still collecting — and the dream of joining Malayalam cinema’s most exclusive box office club is very much alive.
Drishyam 3 collected Rs. 1.35 crore on its third Saturday, recording a 35 per cent hike from Friday. However, the film also registered a 70 per cent dip compared to its second Saturday. The Mohanlal starrer’s running cumulative gross at the Kerala box office now stands at Rs. 84.10 crore.
In isolation, the dip sounds steep — but for a film in its third week, maintaining audience interest well enough to show a Saturday bump is a sign of genuine staying power.

Can It Hit Rs. 100 Crore in Kerala?
This is the big question — and the answer is a cautious “possibly.”
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is looking to wind up its third weekend around Rs. 86–87 crore gross, which would take it past the lifetime collection of L2 Empuraan. Drishyam 3 is heading towards a full theatrical run of around Rs. 95 crore, but has an eye on the Rs. 100 crore mark as well.
If Mohanlal’s crime thriller manages to enter the Rs. 100 crore club in Kerala, it would be the actor’s second film to achieve this feat after Thudarum.
That would be a landmark moment for both the actor and Malayalam cinema as a whole — a franchise completing a hat-trick of blockbusters and cementing its place as one of Mollywood’s greatest ever series.
