You will get an email to confirm your enrollment once the beta begins to roll out. Even though everyone can access the beta version, pre-ordering and signing up grants you access to it two days earlier. Additionally, your game progress from the beta version will not carry over to the full version of the game, but you will be able to unlock rewards when it first launches.
