Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 Drops July 2 — Persona 5 Royal’s Phantom Thieves Are Coming to the Battlefield

If you thought Call of Duty: Mobile couldn’t get any cooler, Season 6 just said “hold my Morgana.” The wildly popular mobile shooter is joining forces with one of the greatest JRPGs ever made — and the result looks absolutely electric.

Season 6 – Take Your Heart launches on 2 July AEST, and it’s packing one of the most ambitious crossover events in CoD: Mobile history.

Call of Duty Season 6 – Take Your Heart: Everything You Know

Persona 5 Royal Takes Over Battle Royale

The heart of this season is the Plunder Treasure Hunt mode — a Persona 5 Royal-flavoured twist on the cash-grab Battle Royale mode. Certain areas of Isolated transform into special Palace-inspired domains. Step inside one and your entire HUD shifts to Persona 5 Royal visuals, challenging you to fight through three waves of Shadow enemies to crack open a treasure chest overflowing with cash and Persona masks that grant bonuses for the remainder of the match.

It’s the kind of crossover that feels genuinely earned — not just a skin slap, but a full mechanical integration of the Persona 5 Royal universe into the CoD experience.

Throwable Frenzy — The Wild New Multiplayer Mode

Season 6 also introduces Throwable Frenzy, a chaotic 5v5 multiplayer mode where both teams compete using only the Combat Axe — all while dodging laser traps that randomly activate mid-match and racing to strike randomly spawned targets. It’s pure skill, reflexes, and more than a little panic. Exactly the kind of mode that creates unforgettable clips.

The Persona 5 Royal Themed Event

The collaboration goes deeper with a dedicated Persona 5 Royal event space built around shooting galleries inspired by the JRPG’s iconic Palaces. Milestone rewards here include a Nuclear Strike customisation featuring Morgana cheering you on, a Backpack – Morgana, and a motorcycle skin themed after Ryuji Sakamoto.

Summer is also in full swing with a seasonal event offering the Urban Tracker – Summer Sunrise Operator Skin and the M16 – Sparkling Citrus Weapon Blueprint. Ranked Play grinders can earn the SO-14 – Onyx Wrath Blueprint and Enigma – Zavesa Operator Skin for their dedication.

What the Battle Pass Brings

The Take Your Heart Battle Pass is headlined by two major additions. The FSS Hurricane SMG arrives with increased ammo capacity and enhanced stability — a weapon built for sustained aggressive play. Alongside it, the VTOL Jet Scorestreak offers supreme area control for those who like to dominate the skies.

Premium Pass holders unlock standout Operator Skins like High Priest of Chaos – Judgement and Kryptis – Refraction, plus Weapon Blueprints including the CX9 – Custos Sanguinis and the striking FSS Hurricane – Shattered Reflection.

The Phantom Thieves Operator & Weapon Armories

The Persona 5 Royal collaboration rounds out with two full armories. The Operator Series Armory lets you suit up as all four Phantom Thieves: Cipher – Joker, Scylla – Panther, Alias – Queen, and Urban Tracker – Violet. The Weapon Series Armory delivers four Legendary Blueprints themed around the same crew.
