After years of “it’s coming, we promise,” the Call My Agent! movie has a firm date. Netflix has officially confirmed a global release on September 10, 2026 for the long-awaited film continuation of the beloved French dramedy — and the cast just walked the Cannes red carpet to prove it’s very, very real.

What’s the Movie Actually About?

The official logline sets up a juicy premise: five years after the ASK agency shut down, Andréa wants to reinvent herself as a film director. But when she loses her lead actor days before cameras roll, she has to drag the old gang back together — reigniting old friendships, old grudges, and all the chaos in between.

It’s essentially Call My Agent! doing what it does best: blending sharp professional comedy with genuine emotional stakes.

Who’s Coming Back?

The entire core cast is returning. Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, Liliane Rovère, and of course Camille Cottin — whose international career arguably launched off the back of this show — are all confirmed.

Guest stars include Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Ophélia Kolb, and Anne Marivin. And yes — George Clooney and Eva Longoria are both reported to have cameos, with Clooney himself having confirmed his involvement.

Why This Matters for Netflix’s French Content

This movie is a big deal beyond just fan service. Call My Agent! was one of the first international series that Netflix used to build its global non-English language reputation. Creator Fanny Herrero, who had left the show before its final season and later made Standing Up for Netflix, is back writing — a full-circle moment that signals both sides wanted this done right.

For fans of smart, witty international drama, this is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest European releases of the year. Catch up with all four original seasons — now back on Netflix — before the movie drops.
