BTS V: A comparison that’s been years in the making
This isn’t the first time Taehyung has been likened to the charming fox. ARMY has drawn the connection since the original Zootopia film, pointing to his sharp jawline and striking, fox-like eyes as an uncanny match. With Zootopia 2 now generating fresh buzz, Allure Korea revived the comparison in a roundup post highlighting celebrities who resemble characters from the film, and Taehyung topped the list.
Why fans think this isn’t a coincidence
What turned a media observation into a full-blown moment was Taehyung’s own social media activity. After the comparison resurfaced online, he posted a scene from the Zootopia franchise on Instagram, a move fans immediately interpreted as him playfully acknowledging the resemblance rather than ignoring it.
A fitting match, according to ARMY
Beyond the physical resemblance, fans have pointed out that Taehyung has previously shown genuine affection for the character, having been spotted with Nick Wilde plush toys on multiple occasions. For longtime fans, that detail makes the comparison feel less like a coincidence and more like a sign he’s always been a fan of the fox himself.
Internet reactions pour in
Social media lit up with fans celebrating the moment, with many remarking that the timing of his post felt too perfectly aligned with the viral comparison to be accidental. The reaction captures a familiar pattern in fandom culture, where celebrities engaging with viral comparisons of themselves tends to amplify online buzz even further, a dynamic well documented in broader discussions of internet fandom culture and how artists interact with fan-made content.
With Zootopia 2 dominating conversations worldwide and Taehyung’s effortless charm doing the rest, this comparison looks set to follow him for a while yet. For more K-pop news, idol updates, and viral fandom moments, check out TechnoSports for ongoing coverage.
