BTS’ Taehyung Gives His Jacket To A Fanboy Who Dressed Just Like Him — And ARMY Is Obsessed

Some fan moments are sweet. Some are downright poetic. This one’s both: at BTS’ MetLife Stadium stop on the ARIRANG World Tour, Taehyung spotted a fanboy in the crowd dressed almost exactly like him — and rewarded the dedication by handing over his own jacket on the spot.

The moment happened during BTS’ two-night run at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 1 and 2, as part of the North American leg of the group’s ARIRANG World Tour. Videos of the exchange spread quickly across social media, with fans praising both Taehyung’s generosity and the fan’s spot-on styling that clearly caught his eye.

What Happened with BTS’ Taehyung?

The fan later shared his own reaction online, describing the moment as something he never imagined experiencing and a memory he’ll cherish forever. It’s easy to see why the clip resonated so widely — Taehyung has built a reputation throughout the ARIRANG tour for these kinds of spontaneous, personal gestures toward fans, from gifting jackets to interacting directly with concertgoers during walk-throughs.

This isn’t an isolated incident either. Earlier on the European leg of the tour, in Brussels, Taehyung gave away a Celine jacket to a fan who was visibly emotional during the show. Moments like these have become something of a signature for him, reinforcing the kind of personal connection artists can build with fans through small, unscripted acts — the same spirit behind fan service traditions long associated with K-pop culture, where artists go out of their way to create memorable, individual moments for supporters.

With the ARIRANG World Tour continuing through North America, fans are already anticipating what other surprises the remaining shows might bring. For more BTS tour updates and fan moment roundups, check out TechnoSports Entertainment.
