The versatile winger will be staying at Granada until July to help them battle relegation. And once the season is over, he will make the move to play for the Bavarians from the coming season.

The technicalities of the deal will see Bayern complete the signing in the January transfer window. Zaragoza will be loaned back to Granada for the remainder of the season, after which he will shift to Germany.

Manchester United, Brentford and RB Leipzig were all linked with the signature of the young midfielder. But, Die Roten have jumped ahead in the race and completed the transfer for not a lot of money, making it yet another smart investment for their future project.
