BOYNEXTDOOR Is “Home” Again: A Billboard Milestone Worth Celebrating

Some albums fade after the first week. BOYNEXTDOOR’s first studio album, HOME, is doing the opposite. This week it climbed back onto the Billboard 200, and it’s a first for the group.

What Happened with BOYNEXTDOOR?

HOME re-entered the Billboard 200 at No. 177. The boost came from the release of the repackaged edition, HOME: DELUXE. The album first debuted at No. 16 in June, the group’s first top 20 entry. It has now spent more than one week on the chart, which is a first for any BOYNEXTDOOR album.

The Chart Report Card

Why This Matters?

A strong debut is exciting, but a return to the chart months later shows that fans are still showing up. Two details stand out:

• Sales are leading the way. Ranking ninth on Top Album Sales means it was one of the best-selling albums in the US that week.
• The group is gaining momentum. The Artist 100 spot marks BOYNEXTDOOR’s ninth overall week on that chart, a sign of steady growth.

For a group still building its international profile, this kind of staying power is a good sign. Repackaged albums are often a smart way to keep a release alive, and this one clearly worked.
