Bobby Deol Calls Out Fake News: The Truth Behind Those Alia Bhatt “Alpha” Set Drama Rumours

The internet was buzzing with whispers that Bobby Deol and Alia Bhatt had a major fallout on the sets of their much-anticipated spy thriller Alpha. But Bobby has officially shut it all down — and honestly, his reaction says everything.

What Actually Happened?

Appearing on Aap Ki Adalat, Bobby Deol addressed the viral rumours head-on, expressing complete shock when a friend first sent him the gossip. His response was refreshingly no-nonsense: “Log itne velle hain ki kuch bhi likhke bana dete hain” (People have so much free time, they just make things up).

He went further, heaping genuine praise on Alia: “She was so prepared for all the fight sequences. So, I didn’t get why people wrote that.”

Bobby also laughed off claims that he was unhappy with producer Aditya Chopra for offering him a different film than expected — calling it completely fabricated.

Alpha: Everything You Need to Know

Alpha marks the first female-led entry in Yash Raj Films’ YRF Spy Universe, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari as the leads, with Bobby stepping into the antagonist’s shoes.

Bobby’s Honest Take on His Dream Run

What makes Bobby’s statement even sweeter is the context behind it. He had just wrapped Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor when the Alpha offer landed in his lap.

“I had just done a film with Ranbir Kapoor, and then I got to know I was being offered a film with Alia. I was like, ‘What’s happening with me?’ Both of them are my favourite actors, and I am getting to work with them.”

That’s the kind of gratitude and excitement that no “fallout rumour” can touch.
