AMD A520 motherboards with Ryzen 4000 support launched

0

Having announced the Ryzen 3000XT processors alongside the A520 chipset, AMD has formally launched the A520 motherboards yesterday which does bring both the Ryzen 3000 and the upcoming Ryzen 4000 processors support. This is great news for budget enthusiasts who do not have to spend much to use the new AMD CPUs for their new PCs.

Much like its brother B550 chipset, the A520 does not support older 1st gen and 2nd Ryzen CPUs nor the APUs, however, only the B450 chipset is the only one to support all generations of Ryzen CPUs, including the upcoming Ryzen 4000 CPUs. This strategy might help AMD a lot because if motherboards are cheaper people will not have any problem upgrading to new CPUs and AMD is doing that before the official Ryzen 4000 CPU announcement.

AMD A520 motherboards with Ryzen 4000 support launched

Specifications of A520 chipset

  • 26x usable PCIe 3.0 lanes with a 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Processor – dedicated to 16x graphics with 4x left over
  • Up to 5 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Ports (SuperSpeed 10Gbps) – almost the speed of a USB Type-C
  • Up to 2 native USB 3.1 Ports
  • Up to 6 native USB 2.0 Ports
  • Up to 4x SATA Ports
  • Also, there’s support for a choice of 1 x4 NVMe: either 2 SATA with 2 NMVes or 2 x2 NMVe drives, however all of the PCIe Gen 3
  • The chipset could even support up to four 6 gigabits per second (Gb/s) SATA drives.

Obviously, the specs aren’t too that convincing but however, if these motherboards come at less than $100 then you won’t complain much as they will support new CPUs. However, you will miss the overclocking support still, say, if you are making a budget gaming PC and want to use the budget Ryzen 3 CPUs then these motherboards will serve the purpose without hurting your pocket much.

AMD A520 motherboards with Ryzen 4000 support launched

Already, AMD’s page has revealed some of the first A520 motherboards from various vendors like ASRock’s A520M Pro4, ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS, Biostar A520MH, Gigabyte A520 AORUS Elite, and MSI’s MAG A520M VECTOR WIFI motherboard. More details of these motherboards are reflected on their respective webpages and soon more A520 motherboards will be coming to the market.

Alfred Schreuder will be the assistant coach of Ronald Koeman to lead the team from the Camp Nou. As MD reports, after Bartomeu announced Koeman will be the successor to Setien, the CEO of Barca sealed the agreement yesterday at Schreuder’s home in Amsterdam. So, Koeman will arrive accompanied by Alfred Schreuder, who will be instructing the player under Koeman.

Schreuder has a lot of experience in his belt as well, recently he was coaching German Hoffenheim but after discrepancies with the club’s sports management, they decided to terminate his contract last June. The Dutchman has served as an assistant coach more than a head coach in his career and he was a key part of Ajax last season, who ended up showing an impressive performance in the Champions League semi-finals.

Ten Hag was his senior coach at Ajax and so had a good bonding with the ex-Ajax player Frenkie de Jong and Koeman in the Dutch national team. Also, there have been rumors that De Jong actually recommended Schreuder’s name to Koeman, however, this will be interesting to see if the Dutch coaches can bring the old De Jong’s best performance at Ajax to Barcelona.

According to MD, Alfred Schreuder will be in charge of preparing the entire tactical and strategy part of the team as Koeman’s assistant and we now he has good technical consciousness. Schreuder served as the brains of Ajax in the sensational 2018/19 campaign but however, things are much more chaotic at Barca, so it will be interesting to see both Ronald and Schreuder working together on strategies and reviving the squad to bring back the glory at the Camp Nou.

Apple will terminate Epic Game’s developer account on 28th August

0

You may know there is a conflict going on between Epic Games and the duo of Apple and Google. Both these two giants removed Epic’s Fortnite when an update bypass all the in-app purchases directly to the developers and it’s violating the app stores’ one of the policies. Epic already filed a lawsuit against both the companies for their action, saying the 30% share of both the sales and in-app revenue is disproportionate and anti-competitive.

As an answer, you can say, Apple issued a notice saying it will terminate Epic’s developer account on 28th August. Apple’s step causes a problem for Epic’s Unreal Engine development which is used and licensed by other app developers. It’s clear Epic was not kind to Apple and now in a dilemma about its next step.

apple vs epic_TechnoSports.co.in

The lawsuit of Epic says, “…Apple is attacking Epic’s entire business in unrelated areas, [and]…will irreparably damage Epic’s reputation among Fortnite users and be catastrophic for the future of the separate Unreal Engine business.”

In a talk with The Verge Apple says Epic only has to make the required changes to Fortnite for iOS so that it can go back to the app store – – “We won’t make an exception for Epic because we don’t think it’s right to put their business interests ahead of the guidelines that protect our customers.”

ZTE Axon 20 5G shows off the front panel in recent renders

0

We know that ZTE Axon 20 5G has already been teased by the company and the launch date is fixed on September 1. The most interesting part of this phone is that it will come with an under-display camera. In our previous article, we have discussed the working technology of such an under-display camera. The company CEO has taken the initiative to tease the smartphone in Weibo, and in his recent post, the front panel of the phone has been revealed for the first time. The image shows a beautiful wallpaper that has the hidden message that the under-display camera will bring nothing but happiness.

The bezels on all the sides of the phone seems very thin compared to other devices. There are no punch holes on the display of the phone neither it has pop-up camera, which means the under-display camera is skillfully hidden under the display as from the top it can’t be seen at all. At the side of the phone we can see the volume rockers and the power button. The power button might also integrate fingerprint scanner with it. The display of this phone might be OLED.

The main hurdle in such an under-display camera smartphone is the poor light transmittance through a screen. But it seems that ZTE has managed to circumvent this hurdle by using a panel developed by Visionox, one of the biggest OLED manufacturers in China. As per the intel of GSMArena, the company has already completed the R&D of the UD camera and the company says it works by optimizing the pixel arrangement around the camera’s lens.

Netflix is testing a ‘Shuffle Play’ button on its platform

Ever get confused regarding what to watch next? Especially in the online platform like Netflix, where plenty of shows are available. Don’t know about others, but I faced it so many times. If it’s the same for you too, here is a good news. Netflix is testing a ‘Shuffle Play’ button on its platform. It is placed on the home screen just below the user profile icon.

Netflix is testing a 'Shuffle Play' button on its platform_TechnoSports.co.in

Quite similar to the shuffle option you get in any music playlist generally, but in that case you choose your favorite playlist. In the case of Netflix, it’s not the same exactly. The process will select a show randomly it thinks you will like. That could be one of the shows which you are currently watching or added to the wishlist earlier. The randomly selected show may also have a similar title with something you watched before.

Currently, you will get this option on TV only. The motto behind this testing is only to provide a better user experience. Alongside, some users informed that they are getting a ‘Play Something’ option in the sidebar of the TV app. These all are the variations of the same ‘Shuffle Mode’, the OTT platform confirms that.

This experimental facility already started rolling out across the world last month, but only for the TVs. The final launch is not announced yet as Netflix is collecting feedbacks currently.

OnePlus’ upcoming budget phone will support 18W fast charging, spotted in TUV Certification

0

TUV Rheinland certified a OnePlus phone with a maximum charging capacity of 9V at 2A which stands for 18 Watts. The maximum charging speed for this upcoming smartphone is 18W as mentioned in the certification. The 18W charging seems normal as we have seen a bunch of recent smartphones carry this charging speed with a budget range, but it is no normal to have the brand name OnePlus on it.

We have seen OnePlus specialises in its 20W(5V, 4A) and 30W(5V, 6A) Dash chargers for its flagship smartphones. Whereas, the recently launched OnePlus Nord also carries Wrap Charge 30T which has 30W charging speed. This clearly indicates that the upcoming phone with the 18W charger will not be a port of this Wrap/Dash chargers.

A few weeks ago after the launch of OnePlus Nord few leaks were surfacing of a new OnePlus device that is said to debut in North America with Snapdragon 690 chipset. The Snapdragon 690 chipset is not a 5G chipset and was also speculated to be cheaper than the OnePlus Nord, which means it might be the budget smartphone to date from the company. This smartphone was just anticipation from some leaks and rumors, but after looking at this certification it seems that the table is turning slowly. Right now it is totally unexpected what OnePlus is trying to do.

The hypothetical mid-range or budget smartphone that we are talking about was rumored to be the OnePlus Nord Lite. By this time the company might think of announcing the OnePlus 8T as it is the only remaining device from the OnePlus 8 series.
