Real Madrid win their first UEFA Youth League

0

Real Madrid are the UEFA Youth League champions after getting the better of Benfica by a 2-3 scoreline in a thrilling final in Nyon, Switzerland. This is the first time Real Madrid has won the Youth League.

Club legend Raul was in charge of the team which won the title. Real Madrid were finally able to taste European glory at this level for the first time.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was present during Real Madrid’s Youth League final match against Benfica at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon (Switzerland).

Perez said after the game to the club’s official website: “I’ve had a great time. Everything requires an awful lot of hard work and sacrifice. These young lads have played four games inside nine days and no matter how strong and youthful they might be, that is significant. We’re delighted to be here in Nyon lifting our first Youth League”.

“This serves to highlight something we work very hard on, in our academy. It’s hugely important to us. We’ve already seen many players plying their trade around the world, in Spain and of course in our first team. This encourages us to continue our focus on something we strongly believe in and always have, which is our academy”.

Benfica gave a difficult fight to the LaLiga side as Goncalo Ramos scored a brace and they went very close to the equaliser when the ball hit the bar in the 93rd minute. But Real Madrid held them successfully to clinch their first UEFA Youth League title.

YouTube removes over 10 million videos in the Q2 2020

0

One of the biggest free video streaming platforms around the globe, YouTube recently cleans lots of videos than ever before in the last quarter. The entire process is done by YouTube’s machine learning algorithms because due to the global pandemic there are a few human reviewers.

As per YouTube’s report, the removed video count is 11,401,696, and it is done between April and June. Past records are saying, in Q1 2020, YouTube removed just 6 million videos, whereas in the Q2 of 2019 the number was around 8.9 million.

Maximum of the deleted video was from the US and the number is 2,061,733. The next top four countries are India with 1,446,772 videos, Brazil with 981,181 videos, Indonesia with 684,199, and lastly, Russia with 406,764 videos respectively. Around 33.5% of the removed set had child safety concerns, 28.3% videos were spam, misleading, and scams. 14.6% of the videos were deleted because of nudity.

YouTube removes over 10 million videos in the Q2 2020__TechnoSports.co.in

Some of the deleted videos didn’t violate any of the YouTube policies, the company acknowledges that. Those contents were mainly based on sensitive topics like violent extremism and child safety.

YouTube wrote in its blog post, “When reckoning with greatly reduced human review capacity due to COVID-19, we were forced to make a choice between potential under-enforcement or potential over-enforcement. Because responsibility is our top priority, we chose the latter—using technology to help with some of the work normally done by reviewers,”

As the algorithms are not efficient fully, YouTube increased staff to handle the appeals. Though the creators appealed for less than 3% of the removed videos only, among which 50% were reinstated.

Barcelona give their first public statement after Messi requested to leave the club

The Lionel Messi transfer saga isn’t going to end very soon when Messi himself wants to leave the club where he has been playing ever since his teenage days.

He is on the verge of leaving the club and it has been confirmed that with a burofax the Argentine has communicated to the club that he wants to leave the club. The forward has a clause in his contract that allows him to walk away for free, after each season that expired on June 11.

This time the season has been stretched longer due to the Coronavirus pandemic, so technically Messi still has this month to ask to leave for free. But the Barcelona board wants to go through a legal scrap with Messi this time as they won’t let Messi leave for free.

Messi has been linked with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City and this time the matter is serious when the 33-year-old himself wants to leave and go.

New Barcelona signing Francisco Trincao was presented at the club today. But club president Josep Mario Bartomeu wasn’t present at the news conference.

Ramon Planes, Barcelona’s technical secretary was present at the interview and he was asked the obvious question about Messi’s transfer.

Planes told reporters: “It was very important news, we have always said that we want to build the new Barca around Messi, the best player in history.”

“We do not contemplate any contractual exit, because we want Messi to stay. Internally we are working for long hours to find the best solution for the club and for Leo.”

“We cannot make this a public dispute because neither Messi nor Barça deserve it. We are working internally to convince Messi.”.

He further insisted that Messi has not informed the club about not joining the pre-season training from next week.

According to Planes, Messi is still a Barcelona player. But the big question is until when?

Cyberpunk 2077 will feature minuscule Subtitles with adjustable text sizes

0

Cyberpunk 2077 is the most anticipated RPG game of this year and every hyped gamer all around the world is waiting for its release. It is set to release on 19th November 2020 for Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

In a game, especially in role-playing games what a gamer hates the most are the long and lengthy subtitles. There are also problems related to the small text size of the subtitles. If someone has a problem with the eyesight or some wants to play the game while maintaining a distance with the screen, they had to toggle around and come closer to the screen to read all the important instructions.

In the previous week, CD Projekt released a new screenshot on Friday; with small blue dialogue text anchored against a similarly tinted backdrop. It got criticized by gamers as it was hard-to-read the 2077’s subtitles.

Keeping these problems in mind and after working on these problems,

In response to a fan on Twitter who showed concern about the clarity of subtitles text in recent game-play previews, CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature adjustable text sizes and color for its subtitles and the subtitles will be minuscule minimum.

It is not mentioned yet that whether the in-game documents will feature similarly adjustable text. But overall it’s good news for all the gamers irrespective of whether they have bad eyesight or deaf or the ones whoever misses the important dialogues due to some external distractions or noise. There is still a huge concern about the overall accessibility but let’s hope for the best.

Dan Howdle, the consumer telecom analyst of cable.co.uk said to TOI, As a country whose young population has a particularly high technological awareness, India offers a vibrant smartphone market, with strong adoption and many competitors. Data, therefore, is quite staggeringly cheap,
