With every NVIDIA GPU series launch, we have seen shortages in supply for these graphics cards, well, NVIDIA has lots of reasons to defend, but the major fault is still of the foundries like TSMC and now Samsung. With RTX 30-series, NVIDIA used Samsung’s 8nm nodes, and it had its issues during launch; however, now seems to be supply issues as well.
Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 30 GPUs have been in tight supply due to unsatisfactory 8nm process yield rates at its foundry partner Samsung, according to industry sources says the recent report from Digitimes.
Already getting hold of an RTX 3080 or RTX 3090 is very hard and adding to this the problems will likely increase for NVIDIA. However, mid-range cards like RTX 3070 and RTX 3060 Ti are found to be in stocks sometimes but thanks to the increased demands, they are getting sold out soon as well.
In the meantime, it is also reported that NVIDIA will end the production of RTX 20 series Super cards, which seems unverified but interesting enough. Surely, the budget RTX 2060 and GTX 16-series will be in production until their Ampere replacements come to the market in ample quantity.
Cyberpunk 2077 has been launched, and the game is making ripples in the gaming community. And the game is already making headlines for various reasons. Before the game’s launch, the developers had to work extremely hard to make the game today. So the game developers had to work overtime to deliver the game on its launch date.
Of course, the game has lots of bugs, but most of them will be solved after releasing the game’s patches. But despite that, the company behind the game has taken up full responsibility for the game. Despite the game having various bugs and performance issues, CD PROJECT RED has declared that its developers will get total bonuses for their work despite how the game will be reviewed.
“We initially had a bonus system that was focused on the game’s ratings and the release date, but after consideration, we believe that measure is not fair under the circumstances. We underestimated the lengths and complexity involved to make this a reality, and still, you did everything you could to deliver an ambitious, special game.”
It was earlier reported that the developer was putting in extra work hours to complete the game. Thus the fact that they were crunching garners them a well-deserved bonus. Cyberpunk 2077 is a multi-platform game and needed lots of work to be done to launch it successfully. The developers were made mandatory to work for six days per week to complete the project.
Thus as it stands, CD PROJECT RED taking up the responsibility for game buginess and giving developers their much deserved bonus is both expected and a nice thing. Speaking about the game, it is already a massive hit with more than 80 million pre-orders and counting.
Disney Plus is collecting Disney’s products over the years and offers various digital content for its subscribers. The service was launched in 2019, and at the time of its launch, the company had a straightforward idea. It would provide its users with digital content; the subscribers would stay subscribed to view the content, and naturally, new content would be added now and then.
The contents streamed by Disney Plus will also help its other projects. The company is planning to increase its merchandise in its theme parks and online stores. The merchandise will be based on all the shows available on Disney Plus. The company is heavily investing in its steaming service.
The pandemic’s initial days made the industry realize the importance of streaming; thus, the company finally decided to get serious. Its more than $100 billion worth of acquisitions, which the company amassed over 15 years, are all poured into making the streaming service one of the biggest names in the field.
But things were not simple during the pandemic. As the film industry took a significant hit, the company ran out of exclusive content to stream. But the competitors in the market were increasing, but Netflix and Amazon Prime were getting prominent day by day, and a new name like HBO Max was entering the business.
But, Disney finally revealed why the company is such a massive brand in Hollywood. It will now stream its all projects, an amalgamation of its nearly $100 billion worth of acquisitions over the last 15 years. All the Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar projects, all based around multi-billion dollar franchises adored by kids and adults worldwide, will all appear in Disney Plus.
Not only that, but the movies that would have gone to theaters are now Disney Plus exclusives, and Disney’s various TV divisions will supply a stream of shows. And guess what? Disney’s executives have said that this is only just the beginning, and as new shows and movies make their way, the streaming service will go to extreme new heights. And the service is planning to do it for just $8 a month.
We know that intel will be launching its Rocket Lake CPUs in the Q1 of 2021. Earlier, we have seen the fab manufacturer introducing its Rocket Lake-S CPUs, and it confirmed our suspicion about the flagship SKUs. According to previous rumors, the SKUs will have eight-core and 16 threads. But recently, new stories are floating around the internet, and they seem to speak about the leaked base and boost clocks of the Rocket Lake-S CPUs.
According to the leaker @harukaze5719 on Twitter, the Core i9-11900K offering eight cores and 16 threads comes with a 3.5 GHz base clock. It also has a 5.3 GHz single-core Thermal Velocity Boost (TVB) along with a 4.8 GHz all-core boost and a 16 MB cache. The Rocket Lake flagship seems to have lower core counts and lower cache at 16 MB compared to its Comet Lake counterpart.
Intel earlier announced that the Rocket Lake-S would have PL1 of 125 W and a PL2 of 250 W. It will potentially make the chip consume more energy and run hotter than its Comet Lake predecessor. The leak also suggests that the Core i7-11700K seems to be clocked slower than the Core i7-10700K.
According to sources, Rocket Lake-S will be based on the Cypress Cove architecture that combines Ice Lake cores with a Tiger Lake iGPU on a 14 nm process. While all these specs and information are just leaks and rumors, it should be taken with a salt pinch. Rather than offering a little performance difference than its predecessors, Intel should work hard to upgrade its wafers’ specifications.
South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics has just unveiled the next generation of television display technology, a new 110-inch Micro LED TV. They target high-end consumers seeking a better home entertainment experience. Yonhap news agency’s report claimed that preorders for the latest luxury TV would begin later this month. The new TV’s official launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021 and will be priced at $156,400.
In the past year, there has been a rapid growth in consumer interest and demand for large screen TVs. Samsung offers a breathtaking audio-visual experience on an ultra-large next-gen TV display, introducing the 110-inch MicroLED.
“As consumers rely on their televisions for more functions than ever, we are incredibly excited to bring the 110” MicroLED to the commercial market,” said Jonghee Han, President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, according to SamsungNews. “Samsung MicroLED is going to redefine what premium at-home experiences mean for consumers around the world.”
Samsung aims to sell the new Micro LED TV in markets like the USA, the Middle East, and some countries in Europe and expand its global availability.
“Samsung aims to create and lead this Micro LED TV market,” said Chu Jong-suk, an executive vice president of Samsung’s visual display business at an online event according to IndiaTV. “We believe we could achieve a meaningful number of sales for the product.”
In 2018, Samsung first launched its Micro LED display named “The Wall” for commercial use, a system of configurable modules that could be installed professionally. Since then, It has been trying to deliver the product for home cinema use as well and the new 110-inch MicroLED is the first time Samsung is delivering the MicroLED experience in a traditional TV form. Since the new TV is prefabricated, Samsung said installation and calibration are streamlined, unlike its B2B Micro LED product, offering stunning video, audio, and smart capabilities out of the box.

A Micro LED TV uses micrometer-sized LED chips as singular pixels that can also self-illuminate to provide exceptional resolution and higher clarity. It uses inorganic material that minimizes luminance decay concerns, unlike organic light-emitting diode displays. The new 110-inch TV is designed to express 100% of the DCI and Adobe RGB color gamut. It precisely delivers wide color gamut images taken with superior DSLR cameras, which results in top-class, lifelike colors and precise brightness from the display’s 4K resolution and 8 million pixels.
The 110-inch MicroLED has the all-new Micro AI Processor that delivers stunning 4K HDR, which results in bright, vivid, realistic picture quality optimized for each scene. The stunning picture quality lasts for the long term as its made of inorganic materials that are long-lasting and durable, allowing a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours, or over a decade.
The immersive visual experience is provided thanks to its 99.99% screen-to-body ratio. The black matrix and bezel have been completely removed from the display, which leaves only the screen. The huge screen space has been put to use as consumers can use the Multi-View feature and watch up to four content sources simultaneously on up to 55-inch sized split screens.
Plus, the 110-inch MicroLED’s dynamic audio provides an immersive audio experience that includes an embedded Majestic Sound System that delivers breathtaking 5.1 channel sound with no external speaker. It transforms any room into a luxurious home theater. And one of the more fascinating features is the Object Tracking Sound Pro feature that identifies objects moving on the screen and projects the sound to follow the action. When there’s an airplane flying overhead, it will feel like its engines are roaring above you.
Samsung said its engineers have reached an advanced stage and are now reviewing options of releasing Micro LED TVs with screen sizes ranging from 70 inches to 100 inches in the future. Asked about its high price, the company admitted it would go down “dramatically” if more brands participate in the Micro LED TV market.

Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are without a doubt Paris Saint-Germain’s most prized assets. The duo have repeatedly been linked with moves away from the club. While Neymar has been linked with a move back to Barcelona, Mbappe has been touted to join Real Madrid soon.
While Mbappe’s transfer to Real could still realistically happen in the next few years if he stays in Paris, the same cannot be said for Neymar. The Brazilian superstar is currently 28 and will celebrate his birthday on 29th February.
His contract is set to expire in 2022, and Paris are already looking to extend his contract now, so as to avoid all chances of losing him on a cut-price deal, or for free two years down the line.
The French media have mentioned that should Neymar want to leave the club, potential suitors will have to cough up €100 million at the very least, which is almost half of his €222 million price tag that took him to the Parc des Princes.
In a world without the coronavirus, the clubs who are financially well off could consider the possibility of moving for Neymar. However, with the game impacted by the lack of revenue so badly, a move away for Neymar seems impossible, especially for the financially struggling Barcelona.
What makes the summer of 2021 important is the case in point where Paris are unable to agree a deal with their star player. The upcoming summer would be their last chance to sell him for a considerable fee.
With Neymar at 29, and entering the most dreaded age of any player’s career, clubs will be willing to pay up for him only up until the summer. After which, he will be viewed in much lesser value than he was just a year ago. And age is not just a number in these scenarios where so much money is involved.
On what project Microsoft’s studio The Initiative is going to work now? The Xbox fans have this question in their mind, and they got their answer at The Game Awards 2020. As per the rumour, now it is confirmed that the studio is working on a new Perfect Dark, which will be an “eco sci-fi” adventure. You can watch the first teaser trailer given below.
It seems that Joanna Dark will be able to snatch a bit of Lara Croft’s thunder. Below there is a video that shows the thoughts of those developers from the folks behind this new project, Perfect Dark.
Darell Gallagher, head of The Initiative said about their new project “Two years ago, we announced the formation of a new Xbox Game studio in Santa Monica, The Initiative, and today at The Game Awards, we announced our first project, Perfect Dark. With Perfect Dark, we’re aiming to deliver a secret agent thriller set in a near-future world.”
“We have built the Perfect Dark team at The Initiative by bringing in some of the most talented game makers from around the industry who all share a passion for storytelling, world-building and creating memorable game experiences. We’re working hard to deliver on the promise of the next generation of game making.” he added.
The Initiative hasn’t confirmed any official release date for the new Perfect Dark; they informed that it is still “early in development”. So, we have to wait a while for their official announcement. The excitement is on a high for Joanna’s big return.
The Watch Dogs series is one of those game series that keeps exciting me as it’s unique and futuristic. However, in the latest instalment of the game, the Watch Dogs Legion, we see the story based on London’s near future where the hacker group called Zero Day has bombed the entire London and has held DedSec responsible.
Yes, DedSec is being shut down here, and you as a gamer are responsible for helping recruit and get London back from the Albion. To assist you, there’s the London Branch of DedSec, led by Sabine Brandt and her AI, Bagley. It’s a new age with critical advancements in AI and automation, improving Britain’s economy at the cost of human jobs.
Cryptocurrencies have overtaken British Pounds. Also, AR and VR systems are spread across the whole city, filled with drones and electric cars, driverless cars, and many more tech stuff. All of this is controlled by ctOS (central Operating System) ─ it is the centralized computer network developed by technology company Blume, featuring in both Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2 previously.
Here’s my complete review or say experience about the game:
Story
Indeed I found the story interesting initially, but by the introduction ended, I found myself alone guy recruiting people across the city to fight a big organization. There’s nothing wrong with it; however, I felt digging what’s behind the total massacre behind Zero-Day could have been done correctly.
The story lacks a central character, and you can pick any recruit to do anything across the whole city. Not the best story I’ve ever seen on a game but just ok for the other things that the game offers you.
Recruiting
Instead of talking about gameplay, talking about the recruitment stuff going on here makes broader sense. I like the fact how open the game is, and the wide scope of recruitment the Watch Dogs Legion game offers you, you can recruit a street guy, a lawyer, an officer, a worker, actually anyone you like to.
To get a new member onto DedSec, you have to help the person, and then he is added to your squad. The wider the audience, the better chance is to resist the fight against the Albion which has completely taken over the city.
Without proper intelligence and skills, fight alone is quite difficult; however, you cannot play in groups if some unforeseen things happen to your recruit. You can use another recruit to replace them from the same position of the mission the former left. Also, you have Bagley, the AI, always helping and guiding you at every step; you can make or break with this entire recruitment concept in the game.
A new London
This is the first time I’ve seen such a detailed London, not lifelike to the present, but still, this is a great feat achieved by Ubisoft. The roads, buildings, cars, buses, and everything across the city look futuristic but have the London we know. All the vehicles looked super impressive and futuristic, great to ride on.
However, there is a darker side to everything, and the new future does have so, there are gunfights at the night and illegal activities as well. Fast travel is a future concept that I definitely liked about the game, including some of the insane tech shown in Albion’s security over the city.
Talking of security, the city is flooded with drones from various cargo drones to Albion security drone or a hackable ctOS drone. Hacking drones you have to do a lot of stuff you could never have imagined, if you have played Watch Dogs before, this is not new, however, if you are someone new, you’ll absolutely love this game. Without even entering the mission spot, you can destroy and disturb the environment with your brilliant hacking skills.
Customizations
You can customize your player’s avatar and the look by buying various clothing and accessories from the stores across the city or from the vault in the safehouse.
You can collect Tech points while each mission to gather various cool tech abilities and gadgets. Also, you can upgrade your arsenal with points or gathering from various missions as well, smarter you are the better you can play the game.
Graphics
This is indeed a graphically intensive game and looks beautiful on a good display; the shadows, reflections even without turning ray tracing on, looks great. The buildings, the sky and every other environment of the game vividly depict the city.
The game looks great when you turn on ray tracing but do keep in mind that reduces a lot of frame rates, so using DLSS 2.0 along with RTX is a better choice. If you are an NVIDIA RTX GPU owner, then you should definitely try the new features with your GPU.
Overall Experience
Watch Dogs Legion is a very futuristic and mouth-watering title to Watch Dog series lovers and you should definitely try it. Overall, I feel there’s a lack of solid storyline, however, the open world with the DedSec revolution in London still makes it worth playable.
The endless recruitment associated with various missions and side missions makes it interesting and sometimes gives you a feel of GTA. However, hacking cameras, drones, cars and lot more gives it a unique flavour, its graphically intensive and visually impressive but lacks that final touch which it promised earlier.
