Yesterday on 19th July Xiaomi unwrapped everything and launched their Mi Max 3 smartphone at an official event so we get to see the full picture.

The Xiaomi MI Max 3 borrows plenty of specs from the Redmi Note 5. It runs the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset with an octa-core CPU at 1.8 GHz. The dual camera setup is also the same – 12 MP main snapper with f/1.9 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size and dual-pixel phase detection AF, plus a secondary 5 MP unit with f/2.0 lens for portrait shots. The selfie snapper has an 8 MP sensor.

While the OS is Android 8.1, the phone arrives with MIUI 9.5 out of the box and plenty of AI features, including scene recognition, face unlock, better selfies and a voice assistant. It should get an MIUI 10 update soon and most likely even MIUI 11, given how Xiaomi takes care of its phones’ security. The device packs in a huge battery of 5500 mAh.

The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 might be closely related to the Redmi Note 5 on the inside, but on the outside, it is more like an enlarged Mi 6X with the same antenna bands design. The new phablet is 176.15 x 87.4 x 7.99 mm in size and weighs 221 grams. There are also AI dual camera/face unlock / small love classmate / bi-amp stereo!

Price and Availability:

Available in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue, the Mi Max 3 will be available in two configurations – 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage for CNY1,699 ($252/€220) or 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for CNY1,999 ($300/€255). It will be on sale at 10:00 on July 20th, starting from 1699 yuan.

Manchester United are considering a double swoop for Bayern Munich stars Robert Lewandowski and Thiago Alcantara.

Both Lewandowski and Thiago have been linked with moves away from the Bundesliga side. While United are searching for a new midfielder. Because rumours are that Pogba wants a return to Juventus to play alongside Ronaldo and Dybala.

The Red Devils tried to lure Thiago to Old Trafford before he joined Bayern from Barcelona. Jose Mourinho had shown an interest in Lewandowski when he was at Chelsea and Real Madrid.

So there’s a high possibility that Lewandowski and Thiago will be seen alongside Ivan Perisic at the Old Trafford.

New PUBG PC Update bring New Weapon, Vehicles and Custom Match

After Introducing the Sanhok Map for PC, PUBG team is ready to add new weapons, vehicles and introduce Custom match mode

With days, PUBG or Player’s Unknown Battlegrounds has become the most popular ESports title ever. But as too much playing the same game makes it boring.

So, PUBG Corp. has always been innovative from the forefront. After adding an amazing map of Sanhok, they are bringing more improvements to the game.

Well, most of the changes will be reflected in the Sanhok map. As announced in official Steam post, PUBG is now rolling out the Update #18 to its test servers for PC…

The Changes:

The QBU is a 5.56mm DMR available only in Sanhok. It will replace the Mini-14 and provide more stability as it is equipped with a bipod.
Rony, on the other hand, is a pickup truck that seats up to four players.
The biggest feature is that every user can create their own custom matches.
There will be new modes like the zombie mode, war mode, etc and you can set your own parameters for the match.

So, with new changes like these playing PUBG will be an utter treat for gamers. The Sanhok map is already live for PC gamers and it is yet to be introduced for mobile.

Not to forget the fact that with these many amounts of customizations, the server may face lagging issues. So, PUBG Corp. will need to improve their server even if users have to pay a nominal fee.

Apart, from customizations and changes, there are a lot of bug fixes for the game. The bugs include players unable to acquire loots and throw away the extended mags when the backpack is full…

Also, the update has got rid of a major flaw of players seeing through some buildings in Sanhok.

Well, that’s all about the new update, which should be available on the main game right now…

An 18 member Squad of India declared excluding Bhuvi

Before the Test Series between India & England, the selectors declare an 18 member Squad excluding Bhuvi, who is on his way back home due to injury

After the eight-wicket loss to hosts England in the third One-Day International at Leeds, selectors makes an 18 member test squad. The team suffers a huge blow after the Indian pacer Bhuveneshwar Kumar gets ruled out of the squad. The test series starts on 1st August and there will be 5 Test matches.

“Bhuvneshwar Kumar aggravated a lower back condition in the 3rd ODI against England. His condition is being assessed by the BCCI medical team and a call on his inclusion in the Test squad will be made soon,” a statement issued by the Board read.

Bhuvi has been ruled out of the first three Test against England at — Edgbaston, Lord’s and Trent Bridge. If he recovers by then, he will be available for the other two…

Batsmen: Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli(C), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Lokesh Rahul, Karun Nair Wicketkeepers: Dinesh Karthik, Rishabh Pant

Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been named in the 18-member India squad for the first three Tests. But, senior pro player Rohit Sharma was once again ignored for the longest format.

The man-in-form Dinesh Karthik, who had played the team’s last Test against Afghanistan, in the absence of an injured Wriddhiman Saha will continue for this series.

Mohammad Shami, who wasn’t fit for the one-off Test against Afghanistan in June, has made his way back for the five-match series. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav could be the two other pacers if India goes in with three fast bowlers.

We are still a good week away from this launch event so let’s recap what we know about the Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite, which will again be a part of Google’s Android One Program. It means both the devices will run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, with Android P update coming along very soon.

Key Specs of Mi A2 :

Mi A2 is expected to feature a 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display, with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is expected to be similar to the Mi 6X and will be powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. You will also get a pair of 12MP + 20MP sensor on the rear, along with a 20MP sensor on the front to meet your selfie needs. You can expect to see a decent 3,010mAh battery on this device, along with a USB Type-C port.

Key Specs of Mi A2 Lite :

The Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, will have a smaller display, larger battery but cheaper price. It is expected to feature a 5.84-inch full-HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio (yes, there would be a notch). It would be powered by Xiaomi’s favorite Snapdragon 625 SoC, and have at least 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of storage.

The primary camera will feature a dual 12 MP(f/2.2) + 5 MP(f/2.2) configuration. There will also be a 5MP camera with a f/2.0 lens on the front. It could bring along a huge 4,000mAh battery, so that’s a huge plus point.

Price & Availability :

With all the rumors floating around, we cannot be sure of the specs until an official word from Xiaomi. As for the pricing, the leaks suggest that Mi A2 Lite will be priced at around $190 (approx Rs 12,999) whereas the Mi A2 will retail at $289.99 (approx Rs 19,999).

Nokia has launched the Nokia X5 model, Nokia 5.1 Plus is the name of its global variant earlier today (18th July). This model is much similar to the Nokia X6 variant which was launched on May 16th in China in looks and different specs. This device is the second smartphone from the company with a notch display. Though this device cheaper than the Nokia X6. The base variant of Nokia X5 is priced at 999 yuan (approx Rs 9,999) while the base variant of Nokia X6 is 1,299 yuan (approx Rs.13,500). This device will be available in tow varients i.e. 3 GB | 32 GB and 4 GB | 64 GB.
