Intel confirms its Rocket Lake-S for the desktop to launch in Q1 2021

Intel has released its 11th gen Tiger Lake CPU’s for notebooks which is supported by the latest Iris Xe GPU. But the new 10nm processors are manufactured solely for notebook devices. The chipmaker is yet to provide us with any desktop-grade and server-grade CPUs from the 11th generation family of its SoCs.

However, the semiconductor giant has finally announced that the 11th Generation Rocket Lake-S will be its desktop-grade processor. The 11th gen Rocket Lake-S will support Xe-LP graphics and will also support PCIe Gen4.

It is announced to be made available in the first quarter of 2021. The processor is based on the Cypress Cove architecture; a Willow Cove backports on the 14nm process.

Rocket Lake-S rumored specs

Intel has not revealed much of the specifications of the Rocket Lake-S, but the internet is full of leaks and rumors about the specs of a new member of Intel’s 11th generation family.

As mentioned earlier, Rocket Lake-S will be based on a new core architecture called Cypress Core, which is a backport of Willow Cove using the 14 nm process.

The platform is the successor of Comet Lake-S and will also feature Xe-LP integrated graphics and PCIe Gen4. If all this is true, the new processor should be compatible with the current 400-series LGA 1200 motherboards.

The Rocket Lake-S is supposedly rumored to top out an 8-core while having 16-thread and is at 125 W.

The predecessor of Rocket Lake-S spotted 10 cores even though being from the 10th gen intel family. However, it is rumored that the IPC uplifting offered in Rocket Lake-S is expected to make up for the missing cores that stand to be beneficial to gamers.

With Rocket Lake -S being launched in next year’s first quarter, it will be quite interesting to see whether the new processor will be able to hold its ground against the tough competition offered by AMD in the desktop-grade CPU market.

Paul Pogba wants to join Real Madrid?

Paul Pogba has been linked with Real Madrid for a long time now. But it was reported earlier that he is staying at Manchester United. But in a recent interview, he said there is a chance of him playing for Madrid.

Paul Pogba has been always an admirer of Real Madrid and their boss Zinedine Zidane. He was asked about the Real Madrid move. He said, “Yes, all footballers would like to play for Real Madrid. Maybe it is a dream. It is a dream for me, why not one day? As I have said, I am at Manchester United and I like my club. I am performing at Manchester United, I am enjoying myself and I want to do everything I can to get the club back to where it deserves to be. I am going to give my maximum, like my teammates.”

He also said, “I am at Manchester. We know that this has been spoken about a lot and I have not (spoken about it). I heard a lot of noise that I was going to leave and I was going to leave for clubs left and right. Today, I am still at Manchester United and I am fighting to try to take the club even higher.”

“I prefer to concentrate on football and on returning to fitness. Nobody has said anything to me. I have not spoken with Ed Woodward. I have not been spoken to about an extension. For the moment, I am at Manchester United and I am thinking above all to hit my top form. I think that there will be a moment where the club comes to speak to me and maybe offers me something, or not. For the moment, nothing has happened. Paul Pogba is a graduate of the Manchester United academy. After that, he joined Juventus in 2012. In his 4 seasons in Italy, he had established himself as a top midfielder. In his 178 appearances for the Italian side, he has scored 34 goals. He has also won 4 Serie-A titles with Juventus.

Then he came back to his boyhood club. Paul Pogba came back to Manchester United in 2016 in a 4-year contract with an option to extend the contract for another year. In his 159 games with United, he has scored 32 goals. In 2018, the Frenchman has won the World Cup as well with his country.

Pogba is one of the regular starters in United. But he was struggling in recent matches as he was recovering himself to his full fitness.

Manchester United is considering to trigger the one-year extension clause in his contract soon. But if it doesn’t happen then we may see him in Real Madrid next season as well.

The Indian Government launched multiple initiatives to encourage global OEMs to come to India for their business purpose and motivate Indian OEMs. The “Make in India’ is one of those initiatives. Whenever someone hears, reads, or talks about it, a picture of ‘India as a Manufacturing Sector’ comes to the mind. It’s obvious as OEMs actually focusing on developing and manufacturing electronic products in our country. But, one must need technology that does not focus on that scale, and that’s Cloud.

Nowadays, the maximum of electronic gadgets is compatible with at least one application through which users can operate remotely. This is one of the main points for IoT devices, especially. I hope you know this technology is also trending.

The OEMs, coming to India after/during the global pandemic and geopolitical conditions, and also the existing, must need Cloud to provide their users with better and remote services in the coming days. But, unfortunately, they are weighing on physical product manufacturing only.

Driving forces for CLOUD that is MAKE IN INDIA

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted finances all across the world, and it is no secret that the match day tickets make up for most of the revenue of any football club in Europe.

With no fans in attendance for the last five months, Barcelona have been impacted financially as well, evident in their performance in the summer transfer window. 

Should the board not be able to raise sufficient funds through progress in tournaments like the Champions League and the Spanish cup, along with merchandise sales, the consequences could come in the form of the loss of players, as well as non-playing staff from the payroll of the Spanish giants.

It has been reported by Spanish publication Marca that Barcelona are in the process of reduction of their outgoing costs. The costs will be reduced through the reduction in salary of playing and non-playing staff alike. 

Under Article 41 of the Worker’s Statue, effective in Spain, the players and non-playing staff can immediately terminate their contracts if their wage demands are not met.

Each of the departments of the club will have a separate representative to carry out negotiations. The debating is expected to last a month, with the solution to the problem being implemented in November.

Should any player feel the need to do so, they can terminate their contracts during the winter transfer window, opening on the 1st of January, or during the summer transfer window opening in July, next year after the season is over. 

The turmoil almost never seems to end at the Nou Camp, with President Josep Maria Bartomeu in the process of being removed from power, following a successful petition to begin the process.

One of the more curious players to be currently playing the wonderful sport of football is Wolves winger Adama Traore. Often accused of being a forward with no consistent output deliverance, he has improved in recent times. “At 15 I was full of knee problems, tendonitis that didn’t leave me alone. I was struggling to play and exploit my speed. So I started working out in the gym, gaining mass through specific work to avoid new injuries.”

Many have wondered about whether the construction of Traore’s biceps and triceps are an outcome of working with the likes of weights and bench press. But, Traore says that it is not the case and that it is his ‘genetics’, which is the core reason of his rapid muscle growth and resulting strength.

Adama Traore came through the ranks of the famed La Masia academy in Barcelona. But, with a lack of appearances, he decided to try out his luck in England at Aston Villa. Following a few seasons with them and Middlesbrough, he landed at Wolves.

Last season was particularly successful for Traore, where he had a statistics tally of 6 goals and 9 assists having worked on his attacking side of the game. He was recently called up to both the Spain and Mali national teams. However, electing to go with the former, he made his debut appearance for ‘La Roja’ in yesterday’s friendly match against Portugal.

Manchester United was thrashed by Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs by 6-1 in their last game before the international break. That was one of the worst days in the Premier League for the Red Devils.

United fans and some former players were not pleased with the performance of their captain. Harry Maguire’s mistake cost United two goals. United conceded in the first half. After that, Anthony Martial was sent off in an arguable reason. Harry Maguire didn’t protest against the decision. United fans were furious with the behaviour of their captain at that time.

Some reports suggest Bruno Fernandes was not at all happy with his captain and fell in an argument. After that United boss, Ole said him to stay in the dressing room with Anthony Martial and he was subbed off as the consequence.

Some fans think that the English defender is not the right man to take the arm-band. United Legend Patrice Evra has explained the problem pretty well. He said Ole has made a big mistake by giving making Maguire the captain.

 “You’re the architect of your problems.”

“On your resumption at the club, you sold the club top striker Lukaku without replacing him, instead you signed a defender and immediately gave him armband (Captain).”

“You lost the control of dressing room from the day you gave Harry Maguire captain. It’s not done anywhere in the world.”

“Club football is different to national team, exchanging of armband is based on seniority. Ronaldo left Man Utd as the best player in the world, Madrid never give him even assistant Captain. Iker Casillas left Real Madrid as Captain and Spanish Captain, FC Porto never give him Captain and so on.”

“Maguire, the captain. How many years has he been at Manchester United? Just one. It shows that the club don’t have any leaders to win trophies.”, Evra told about Ole’s mistake.

Some United fans also think the same as Evra. They have shown their dissatisfaction in social media handles.

But is there anyone who can take the responsibility of Manchester United’s armband right now? David De Gea is surely an option. But he failed recently to produce his very best. It will be a tough choice for Ole to find a new captain in the squad.

Chennai Super Kings’ skipper, captain cool MS Dhoni, tops the IPL 2020 brand endorsement chart.

The list consisted of well-renowned celebrities from cricketers to even legendary actors! They were judged on the basis of recall value. The values were according to a survey conducted by the Indian Institute of Human Brands (IIHB).

IIHB ran a telephonic survey on October 4 reaching out to 892 respondents to check-out recall of brands, their celebrities, and their messaging. All respondents were between 15 to 35 years and 59% were males and 41% were females.

IIHB team have created their own tool called CELEBAR to evaluate these research feedback. The tool assigns a metric score to each celebrity and the corresponding brand.

What is CELEBAR score?

The tool took into account the following aspects:

  • Spontaneous recall of the brand
  • Spontaneous recall of the celebrity
  • Spontaneous recall of the brand and celebrity together – Recency of communication
  • Media weight behind campaign
  • Solus versus multiple brands using the celebrity

MS Dhoni had a CELEBAR score of 82! The spontaneous recall was very high at 72%. His association with Dream11 was also very high at 79%. H got 12% brand association with Oppo, 6% with AMFI, and 2% each for Khatabook, TVS, and Indigo Paints.

Dhoni led some big names with Virat Kohli scoring 69, actor Akshay Kumar scoring 62, actor Ayushmann Khurrana scoring 55. They were followed by two extremely huge names of the industry as ‘King Khan’ Shahrukh Khan and ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ Amir Khan scored 52 each. Amitabh Bachchan had a CELEBAR score of 32 as well.

As per brands are concerned, Byju’s was the most spontaneously recalled. Dream11 was in the second position. Swiggy, Mahindra Thar, Upgrad, and Tata Altrox ranked highest amongst brands that did not use a celebrity.

As per some reports, Redmi is going to launch its first soundbar in India. However, Xiaomi had launched a soundbar in China in the month of May this year. It is expected that both the soundbars are the same.

Redmi has a pretty huge market for its smartphones in India. But they don’t want to stop there. Redmi is looking to launch many more different products like earphones, earbuds, soundbars in India. Moreover, according to the reports, Redmi is all set to bring its Smart TV A series to India that was launched in China last month. But Redmi might bring this TV just after the arrival of the soundbar.

As of now, there is no confirmed information about the launch date of the Redmi soundbar. But it is expected that the device could arrive during the upcoming festive season via Flipkart and Amazon. But right now, the websites have not mentioned anything about the product. So, we can expect a sooner launch of the soundbar in India.

Let’s talk about some of the specifications of the Redmi soundbar. As per the reports, it has two 45x 80mm full-range speakers delivering a 30W total output. Regarding the size, this soundbar has a dimension of 78 cm x 6.4 cm x 6.3 cm and it weighs around 1.5kg. According to the picture released by Redmi before the launch in China, the Redmi soundbar comes in a single black color option with a matte-like finish. Regarding the connectivities, this device supports Bluetooth 5.0 and S/PDIF & Aux ports for wired connections.

Regarding the pricing, this will be a budget-friendly soundbar from Redmi. In China, this device was launched at a price tag of CNY 199 (roughly Rs. 2,100).
