Want to Record the Screen on Fire TV Stick? This is what you have to do!

Amazon Fire TV has a lot of benefits and one of those major benefits is that you can very easily record your screen. This is quite a troublesome process if you own an Android TV. If you planning to get Amazon Fire TV or if you already have it and want to record your screen, this is what you have to do.

Step 1:

Take the aid of voice assistant ‘Alexa’ by tapping on the Alexa button on your TV remote. Speak “Screen Recorder” and you will be taken to a page where you have to download an application. The application page will look like shown below. Click on install.

Step 2:

Open the application and click on “Start Recorder”. The default setting starts recording at FHD resolution.

Step 3

You will see a prompt box asking your permission to start recording. Click on “Start Now”.

Step 4

As you move scroll through, your screen will be recorded. One thing to remember is that you cannot record audio or DRM-protected content that is present in the apps like Netflix or even Amazon Prime Video.

Step 5

Once you are done with your screen recording, open the same app which you installed and click on “Stop Recorder”. The screen will look like shown below.

Step 6

Your video has been recorded. Now you can transfer it to your smartphone or computer. To transfer, you will be required to install the “Send Files to TV” (SFTTV) app. Tap on the “Alexa” button on your remote again. Speak “Send files to the TV app.” The app page will show up. Install the app.

Step 7

Similarly, you will be required to download the same app on your smartphone or computer. You can easily install it as it is available on Android, Windows, and macOS.

Step 8

Make sure that both of your devices, smartphone, and TV, are connected to a common WiFi network.

Step 9

Open the “Send Files to TV” (SFTTV) application on your Fire TV Stick. You will see a screen like below. Click on “Send”. Locate the recorded video and click on it.

Step 10

Find the device to which you want to send the video and click on it. In just a few seconds, you will receive the recorded video on your smartphone.

Shubman Gill in company with Cheteshwar Pujara ensured that India didn’t suffer any wicket loss in the day 4 as Team India ended up with 39/1 and needs another 381 runs to win the match in the final day.

After stammering at 337 runs and giving England the opportunity to lead by a massive scoreline of 241 runs, Ashwin helped India to make a come back in the Test in Chennai, as a brilliant effort by Ashwin with the ball as the hosts concluded England at 178 in their second innings, with Ashwin finishing concluding the day with 6 wickets off 61 runs in 17.3 overs. Also, R Ashwin became the only third spinner to take a wicket off the first ball of a Test inning.

Even though India needs a gigantic 420 runs to win the first Test, team India started on a slow note by losing opener Rohit Sharma in a bad way in the final session of the play on Day 4. Shubman Gill, along with Cheteshwar Pujara, who is a Test specialist ensured that India didn’t lose any more wickets.

Barring Ashwin, teammate spinner Shahbaz Nadeem bagged two wickets and Ishant Sharma, who became the third Indian seamer to claim 300 Test scalps previously in the day, with the help of Jasprit Bumrah, who removed one batsman each.

Team India started with Washington Sundar and Ashwin leading the attack to fight back with the bat. Continuing the action from the overnight score of 257/6, both maintained a watchful approach in the early overs before shifting overs. Sundar played his second Test, and completed his second half-century and finished the innings with an unbeaten 85 runs from 138 deliveries.

The duo of Sundar and Ashwin added 80 runs for the seventh wicket before the leggie was dismissed by Jack Leach on 31. Soon the England spinner sent back Shahbaz on a duck.

James Anderson dismissed Ishant Sharma, later on, Washington Sundar smashed quite a few aggressive shots. Unfortunately, India went out of wickets as the Bumrah got out before he could contribute a single run on the scoreboard.

Later on, Ben Stokes came in to bat at number four for a very short period, but Ashwin removed Stokes first, and then later on Bumrah took Root’s wicket, reducing England to 101/5.

Indian bowlers ensured that England could not settle and picked wickets at regular periods. Ollie Pope was sent back by Nadeem in the 29th over. The spinner then, later on, removed Jos Buttler on 24 runs.

India on day 4 showed a great performance, especially the bowling lineup performed brilliantly. If they continue this performance with the batting lineup, then India may win the test on the final day.

The dissent was submitted to the CMA of Britain. CMA started its overall investigation about the $40 billion deal in January. The regulator has not spoken yet about the entire affair.

Mr. Hermann Hauser revealed the details about the opposition of Graphcore. In a Zoom interview, he said to CNBC, “If Nvidia can merge the Arm and Nvidia designs in the same software then that locks out companies like Graphcore from entering the seller market and entering a close relationship with Arm.”

Mr Jen-Hsun Huang, NVIDIA’s founder and CEO then stepped forward to state that NVIDIA’s claim that it will maintain the existing business model of Arm. Mr Huang had a chat with the Arm chief Mr Simon Segars. According to Mr Huang’s comments made about regulatory scrutiny at the chat:

And when they realize that we love the business model, we’re going to protect the business model, we’re going to create and continue to nurture this neutral, committed, consistent, trusted platform so that our ecosystem can continue to flourish and even grow, I think when people realize that, they’re going to be really quite excited about that.”

Along with UK, China is also a big opposition to acquire the deal. Earlier this week, Financial Times has reported that the “In-depth” investigation in the UK and EU are set to open.

The acquisition will give NVIDIA a potential $3.5 billion revenue and it can also utilize its AI and machine learning strengths.

CAIRO, Egypt, February 8, 2021/ — Ahead of the 45th Ordinary Congress of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the organisation has disclosed the candidates for positions that are to be filled at the conference.

Names of candidates for the 17 positions have been confirmed.

There is certainly nothing out of the ordinary about the release of the names of the aspiring men and women for the congress set for the Swiss traditional resort town of Montreux on April 20.

What must be highlighted is the individuals that would automatically qualify for Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) roles by virtue of their election in Switzerland must undergo the requisite eligibility check to be conducted by the world governing body’s Review Committee.

The committee informs the respective confederation and the candidates on the outcome of the tests.

On offer in Montreux at the UEFA Congress would be seats for the FIFA vice-president’s position reserved for the four British associations (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales) as well as for five ordinary members’ positions on the FIFA Council, including at least one female.

All the 18 candidates, a majority of them standing for re-election, have meanwhile passed the requisite eligibility check carried out by the UEFA Governance and Compliance Committee.

This is line with the Article 21(6) of the UEFA Statutes and Article 4bis of the Regulations Governing the Implementation of the UEFA Statutes.

Regarding the eligibility checks for the elections posts that would qualify the European officials for positions at FIFA, these checks are a prerequisite all of FIFA’s affiliates.

Besides UEFA, FIFA’s 211-member associations fall under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Confederation of African Football (CAF), Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and Oceania Football Confederation (OFC).

To reiterate, according to statutes, the confederations elect members for the FIFA Council. The presidents of the respective confederations are automatically FIFA vice presidents.

The upcoming election CAF is organising to elect a new leadership begs the explanation.

Among positions to be filled is the presidency, following the controversy around Ahmad Ahmad.

With the winner of the presidential poll set for March 12 in Rabat, Morocco automatically becoming the FIFA vice president, FIFA’s Review Committee recently ran eligibility checks for all candidates vying for the presidency.

The same committee thus running the rule of the UEFA candidates, cleared CAF aspirants, namely Ivorian Jacques Anouma, South Africa’s Patrice Motsepe, Augustin Senghor and Ahmed Yahya of Mauritania.

Therefore, there was nothing peculiar with the FIFA Review Committee conducting the suitability checks on the CAF candidates.

It is a norm at the global football governing since it embarked on reforms to avoid financial and election scandals that rocked it in the past decade.

Among other checks are past criminal convictions and disciplinary sanctions, ongoing legal proceedings, ensure political neutrality and prevention of any form of government interference as well as curbing potential conflicts of interest.

It is here that the issue of Constant Omari, the Congolese interim president of the CAF after Ahmad was suspended for alleged financial misconduct, comes in.

Omari was before Ahmad’s suspension the first vice president of CAF.

Hence, according to CAF statutes, if the president vacates office, was the case when Ahmad was banned by FIFA, Omari took over.

There was therefore no need for an eligibility test in November 2020 when he assumed office on an interim basis.

Thus, an eligibility test became necessary now that he wanted to retain his seat on FIFA’s Council. He held the position since 2015.

At the end of last month, FIFA announced Omari had failed an integrity and eligibility check and was barred from seeking reelection.

He is reportedly under probe from suspected financial irregularities relating to CAF commercial contracts under Ahmad’s besieged reign.

This, therefore, quashes speculation of contradiction on FIFA’s part regarding eligibility checks.
