Bayern Munich will move for Upamecano in 2021

Ever since breaking onto the European football scene in RB Leipzig’s progression to the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, Dayot Upamecano has been linked with transfers away more strongly than ever.

The rumours have persisted even before the 19/20 season ended, and they have now reached a fever pitch. It is true that the youngster is one of the best young defenders in the world. Moreover, he has the talent to make any defense in the world better.

Manchester United, Real Madrid and Liverpool are among the most heavily linked names with the Frenchman. Despite the efforts of all of the clubs to lure him away, the youngster has managed to stick around at his current club.

Discussing his future on the “Here We Go” podcast, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano welcomed BILD’s Christian Falk on episode 14. The duo talked about the future of the young centre-back and acknowledged his current dip in form as well.

He has been playing Champions League fixtures regularly and is visible to Europe’s top clubs regularly. The strengths and weaknesses in his game have hence, become increasingly prominent to those keeping tabs on the defender.

Bayern Munich will reportedly make a move for Upamecano in the summer of 2021, according to the two famous journalists. The Bavarians will, in all probability, be without Jerome Boateng and David Alaba next year and will need reinforcements at the back.

Considering their history of procuring the best talents in the league in all these years gone by, a possible approach would be of no surprise at all. The Bavarians actually tried signing him during his time at Salzburg, but the move did not go through.

A possible move could be on next summer, and many Premier League clubs have also been rumored to have the defender on their shortlist for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of Australia series due to concussion, could be a major setback for India

0

On December 4th 2020, in the final over of the first innings of the first T20I in Canberra against Australia, Ravindra Jadeja sustained a concussion after being hit on the left side of his forehead when he missed a Mitchell Starc bouncer.

During the innings break, the BCCI Medical Team confirmed the diagnosis after a clinical examination in the dressing room.

Jadeja remains under observation and will be taken for further scans if required based on subsequent assessments. He will not be a part of the ongoing T20I series any more.

Notably, Jadeja was in brilliant form and will be dearly missed by the Indian team in this series. He played an incredible cameo of 44 runs off 23 balls helping India post a total of 161/7 in 20 overs. Stepping in as a concussion substitute was Yuzvendra Chahal. The spinner was eligible to bowl his complete four overs. This decision made by the BCCI has sparked controversy. Former cricket bigs and Australian officials have stirred debate on like for like replacement.

There exists the question that Ravindra Jadeja’s absence could prove to be a setback for team India. Yuzvendra Chahal was named Man of the Match in the first T20I, after putting up a commendable performance of 3/25 in his four overs proves that he has fulfilled his role as a replacement. He proved crucial for India with his impressive figures. The public has also gone on to question why he was not in the original eleven.

42-year-old former Indian opener Virender Sehwag opined that India were completely right in getting a concussion substitute for Jadeja as head-injury related symptoms can show up as late as 24 hours after the hit. He also defended his home country by saying that the Australians should not complain because they have also reaped its rewards when Steve Smith was hit on the head and Labuschagne came out to bat in his place and made runs.

BCCI confirmed in a tweet that Jadeja remains under observation but it is fair to say that substituting him for Chahal has worked in India’s favour. Indian captain Virat Kohli was pleased that the substitution worked out well for his side even though they did not have plans to include Chahal originally.

Player of the match Yuzvendra Chahal said that, having not made the original playing eleven, there was no pressure in him when he came on as a concussion substitute. He also added that he learnt from his ODI mistakes and picked up some tricks from rival leg-spinner Adam Zampa on how to bowl effectively on Australian wickets.

Intel Core i9-11900K Rocket Lake-S appears on Ashes of the Singularity with a higher clock speed

0

Intel’s upcoming flagship desktop CPU, the Rocket Lake-S, the Core i9-11900K, has been spotted at the Ashes of The Singularity benchmark. According to sources, the Intel Core i9-11900K will be feature 8 cores and 16 threads. It also features a 3.50 GHz base clock, which is higher than the earlier reported rumors. Along with 8 cores and 16 threads, the chip also features 16 MB of L3 cache.

We can’t say for sure if these are early ES variants of the same chip or different chips altogether since the Core i9 and Core i7 SKUs are expected to be practically identical, with the main difference being the clock speeds. The earlier 3.4 GHz SKU could be a Core i7-11700K model, while the Core i9 model features a higher base clock of 3.5 GHz. The boost clock for the previous model was set to 5 GHz, so we can expect the 3.5 GHz to support a higher boost clock.

For now, it is unknown whether the processor had a functioning turbo boost technology during the benchmark. However, during the game testing, the Intel Core i9-11900K Rocket Lake flagship CPU scored 62.7 FPS at 1440p and 64.7 FPS at 1080p. AMD’s Ryzen 9 5950X had scored 71.9 FPS at 1080p with the same Crazy preset. It means that the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X is around 10% faster than the Core i9-11900K in the Ashes of Singularity benchmark.

Main features of Intel’s Rocket Lake Desktop CPUs include:

  • Increased Performance with new Cypress Cove core architecture

Now to prove that assumption true, the Nokia 5.4 has been spotted on FCC certification, reveals a few key specifications along with the rough sketch of the design of this upcoming device. Let’s get into it.

In terms of design, the FCC datasheet shows, the phone will have a triple rear camera setup, aligned in a circular camera module on the backside of the phone and the fingerprint scanner right below it. The certification also shows that the phone comes with a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner of the screen to hold the selfie camera. But the certificate hasn’t revealed any details regarding the camera lenses.

The FCC certification mention two Nokia smartphones- one with model number TA-1340 and another one is TA-1333. It is highly expected that both are just two different variants of Nokia 5.4. It is also expected that one variant of the Nokia 5.4 will be a cheaper version as it doesn’t have 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity it may be supported by a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only.

The datasheet also reveals that the upcoming Nokia 5.4 will also have a dual SIM (Nano) and a MicroSD card slot, a USB Type-C port for charging, and a Google Assistant key button. In terms of battery, it is not clear enough but expected to have a battery backup of 4000 mAh or 4080 mAh.

Apart from this information, the rest remains a mystery. There is no official information about this phone till now. But we are expecting that the company will disclose all the information and we will get the first image of Nokia 5.4 soon.

The upcoming 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX flagship APU spotted, up to 4.60 GHz clock speed

0

CES 2021 is coming along with lot of excitement among fans to witness the next-generation of AMD Ryzen mobile processors. The upcoming Ryzen 5000H series of gaming processors are important significantly because of the fact that they will be based out of AMD’s powerful Zen 3 architecture.

This means you can expect significant improvement in single-core as well as clock speeds. We already have seen a engineering sample of the Ryzen 7 5800H in action and in the Cezanne-H family we have a new flagship processor Ryzen 9 5900HX, spotted by TUM APISAK.

Coming to the specs, the Ryzen 9 5900HX sports 8 cores and 16 threads, where it runs at a base clock of 3.30 GHz and a boost clock of 4.60 GHz. It features 16 MB of L3 cache and 4 MB of L2 cache, which indeed is a major upgrade over Zen 2.

Interestingly, we might have a successor of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, the processor was spotted on a ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX551QS laptop. Much like the Ryzen 9 4900HS, this APU also comes with 45W design configurable down to 35W. The new rumor about the HX series is that it will allow users to overclock them, which will make this the first of a kind feature on laptops.

The upcoming 8-core AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX flagship APU spotted, up to 4.60 GHz clock speed

The laptop features an insane 48 GB of DDR4 RAM clocked at 3200 MHz and most likely it will come equipped with new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series graphics or even the RDNA 2 based Navi mobile GPUs. The Geekbench scores are also interesting as we see a major improvement in single-core score with 1423 points, however, not much improvement in the multi-core with 6912 points.

There are multiple listings as well as laptops of ASUS ROG Zephyrus laptop with the Ryzen 9 5900HX processor paired with RTX 3080 that has 16GB VRAM along with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Whereas, in other listings we see the ASUS ROG Zephyrus 15.6-inch with Ryzen 9 5900HX processor paired with 8GB RTX 3070 GPU along with 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD. On ther other hand, we see another listing of ROG Zephyrus 14-inch with Ryzen 9 5900HS processor, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD paired with 6GB RTX 3060 Max-Q graphics.

This proves, not only ASUS, AMD as well will be offering a variety of Ryzen 5000H Cezanne APUs based on Zen 3 architecture. There are multiple RTX 30-series mobile GPUs as well, so if you had been complaining about AMD not given much priority, be happy gamers, because 2021 will be a great year!

‘unnamed’ Microsoft Surface device pops up on Geekbench database

0

In a fresh source of information, Microsoft’s new device has been spotted on the Geekbench. The unnamed Surface Laptop was spotted with an 8-core, 16-thread AMD CPU. It was running at a base clock speed of 2.00GHz. As of now, there’s no Ryzen 4000 series present on AMD’s website that’s running at the aforementioned clock speed. The only card capable of achieving such results is the Ryzen 9 4800U, which sports 8 cores, 16 threads but has an operating base frequency of 1.80GHz.

Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 3 was indeed a powerful machine, but it was held back thanks to a 4-core, 8-thread AMD Ryzen 7 3780U CPU. But the new appearance of the Redmond based giants unnamed surface model with such high clock speeds; indicates that Microsoft and AMD might have worked together to provide a slight performance boost on this ‘custom’ Ryzen 7 3780U processor.

But the leak in Geekbench 5 indicates that the specs of the device list the DDR4 RAM instead of the LPDDR4X. This can mean Microsoft will stick to upgradable memory sticks on the upcoming Surface Laptop 4 instead of soldering it. It will allow users to upgrade their RAM in the future.

you can check the leak in the below image:

Hopefully, the unnamed surface device will not end up like the Surface Laptop 3 and will offer some great specs for its users. As of now, there is no update on the launch or even the official name of the device. But consider the increasing demand for high-performing devices, Microsoft better not slack off with the specs for its upcoming surface model.

Manchester City keeping tabs on Gladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria

0

Manchester City are reportedly keeping tabs on Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria to bolster their options in midfield. The Cityzens are currently out of the top half of the table, and find themselves in unknown territory since the beginning of the 20/21 season.

On episode 14 of the “Here We Go” podcast with guest Christian Falk of German publication BILD, Fabrizio Romano and Falk mentioned that Manchester City, as well as Bayern Munich were interested in Zakaria.

The Gladbach midfielder has been vital to Marco Rose’s revitalised side that managed to finish in a Champions League berth last season.

The 24-year-old’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2022. The duo mentioned that a release clause inclusion could be on the cards for the Swiss midfielder.

If that doesn’t happen, and Zakaria does want to leave Gladbach for a bigger club, then €40 million is the sum of money that the German club are holding out for.

Considering that the player would possibly be available for a decent sum of money, more clubs could eventually jump on the bandwagon. However, for now, City and Bayern Munich are the names that have been linked with the midfielder.

The Sky Blues are reportedly also keeping tabs on AC Milan holding midfielder Ismael Bennacer as well.

Jim Ryan now insists on the Crossgen Support of PS5/PS4 as a “Right” and “Rational” thing

0

Jim Ryan, CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, has informed that the company “believes in generations,” but the tune has been changed in recent months. Few PS5 titles like Horizon Forbidden West, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and possibly God of War Ragnarok are cross-gen games. Other Sony execs have suggested that PS4 support will continue for at least three more years for these titles.

During the issue of Edge Magazine, Ryan claimed in an interview that it was time for games that “can only be enjoyed on PS5”. He is saying that simply the “right” and “rational” thing to do is support the PS4.

“We do feel that we have a responsibility to that huge community, and an opportunity to carry on making great PS4 games for as long as the need is there. And I think that is the right thing to do, it’s the rational thing to do, and I think you will see a tail with PS4 that you did not see with PS3. But that said, as time passes, you’re going to see more and more emphasis on PS5 development, and the PS5 SKU will be the lead SKU.”

Remember that this does not mean that any PS5 exclusive is happening there. By the way, we have two big names in Demon’s Souls and the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. From Jim Ryan’s gaslighting, it is very tough not to be carried out. If he accepts the fact and says that they have changed their strategies and clear out the reasons, many people may go along. Crossgen support is brilliant for the company, but six months ago, he said the exact opposite. It should be cleared that which game will cross-gen or which won’t be.
