AMD launches Radeon RX 6900 XT Graphics Cards, starts at ₹79,900, exclusive of GST

Finally, from today, AMD flagship GPU Radeon RX 6900 XT is now available in the market. The AMD reference GPU is available for a hefty $999 in the US or ₹79,900 in India exclusive of GST but is way cheaper than the NVIDIA flagship RTX 3090 which is again a rare GPU that can be bought.

Being a powerhouse GPU, AMD says its designed and optimized for enthusiast gamers to deliver exceptional 4K gaming performance and incredible overclocking capabilities for the most demanding users. The cooler design is almost similar to the RX 6800XT but with some tweaks at higher power you can actually get the most out of the GPU.

As per an Indian tipster, Samsung is going to launch another smartphone in its F-series. The very first smartphone Samsung has launched in its F-series is the Galaxy F41, a camera-centric budget mid-range smartphone back in October this year. This time, reports suggest that the upcoming F-series smartphone is going to be the Samsung Galaxy F62 and Samsung is all set to launch it in Q1 2021. Another great thing is that the company has already started working on this device in Samsung’s facility at Greater Noida.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy F62 (SM-E625F) has already appeared on the Geekbench 5 website as per a recent report. From the Geekbench 5 listing, we’ve come to know that the Galaxy F62 will get powered by the Exynos 9825 chipset. This is the same processor Samsung has used in the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ (2019’s flagship chipset).

Apart from this, the Galaxy F62 will run on the Android 11 OS and the SoC of this phone will be paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of the Geekbench scores, this phone has managed to bag 763 points (single-core score) and 1952 points (multi-core score).

Compared to the Galaxy F41, it is expected that the upcoming one will get a decent rear camera module as well, as Samsung has stated earlier that the F-series will be a camera-centric series. The Galaxy F41 comes with a triple rear camera setup which includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. For the selfies, this phone offers a 32MP selfie shooter at the front, inside the Infinity-U notch.

Apart from it, some key specifications of this phone have already been leaked in the media, which says that there will be not much difference between the iQOO 5 Pro and the upcoming iQOO 6. So, let’s check out the leaked key specs of iQOO 6.

As per leaks, the iQOO 6 will run the latest version of its iQOO UI/Origin OS based on Android 11 OS and will get powered by the newest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Regarding the display, this phone is expected to feature a flat display (to miss the curved one like the iQOO 5 Pro).

In terms of camera, iQOO 6 is said to have a similar rear and front camera setup as the iQOO 5 Pro. The Chinese brand Gionee has been repeatedly launching mid-range devices in China and India. The company has launched Gionee K3 Pro in August 2020. Today Gionee has launched another K series smartphone- Gionee K30 Pro. This phone has a RAM capacity of up to 8GB and 128GB of inbuilt storage configuration. The phone comes with an affordable price tag. Let’s check out the specification of the Gionee K30 Pro.

According to the TENAA datasheet, the Gionee K30 Pro carries a model number of GSE1020. Regarding the display feature, the phone comes with a 6.53-inches LCD waterdrop notch display. The display also features HD+ (720×1520)pixels of screen resolutions. In terms of dimension, the phone measures (164.3×77.7×9.7)mm and weighs 204.2 grams. The back panel of this phone is made of glass.

There is no information regarding the processor that has exactly been used, but according to the source, an unknown MediaTek Chipset with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz is present in Gionee K30 Pro. The phone runs on the absolute Android 7.1.1 OS. The phone offers two storage configurations- 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. Under the hood, the Gionee K30 Pro is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery, but the charging speed is unknown yet.

Come to the camera part. The newly launched Gionee K30 Pro a triple rear camera setup that includes- 16 Megapixels of the primary shooter with real-time AI beauty, a macro sensor, and a 120-degree wide-angle lens. The rear camera lenses are aligned in a circular module along with an LED flash at the center and a fingerprint sensor. On the front side, the phone has an 8Megapixels of selfie camera sensor.

Regarding the pricing of the Gionee K30 Pro, the phone comes with a price tag of 699 Yuan ($107) for the 6GB+128GB variant, whereas the 8GB+128GB variant will be sold at 799 Yuan ($122).

Apart from announcing 4 new games to the NVIDIA DLSS support list, the company has also declared that Minecraft will be available to play in RTX for Windows 10 moves from beta to an official release. 

Minecraft with RTX supports NVIDIA DLSS, along with path tracing, meaning all the lighting in the game is ray traced. Minecraft with RTX players will see everything enhanced with a special Physically Based Rendering texture pack in supported worlds, which interplays with the ray-traced effects to enhance the experience further. Turning on DLSS can more than double your frame rate!

To celebrate Minecraft’s release with RTX, NVIDIA is releasing 2 new worlds, bringing the total number of official RTX worlds for Minecraft to 15. Colosseum world is available now, and Dungeon Dash will be coming soon. 

However, another much-hyped game is Cyberpunk 2077, which will also get support for DLSS and ray tracing, making the gaming even more beautiful. The holiday season is coming and so NVIDIA has brought some surprise for you in terms of games. No NVIDIA is not making games, but brining DLSS support to four new games and are seeing substantial boosts in frame rates while generating beautiful, crisp game images.

Do not worry, these games are in addition to Minecraft with RTX which moved out of beta today, and Cyberpunk 2077 which launches this week. The new DLSS Games for December are:

December finds CRSED: F.O.AD. (formerly Cuisine Royale, Dec. 3), Moonlight Blade (Dec 7), Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord (coming in Dec), and Scavengers (available in ‘tech tests’ today ) all joining the roster of DLSS games, taking the tally of DLSS games to 30 titles.

Turning on DLSS will see performance boosted in each of these games:

  • DLSS increases performance by up to 40% in CRSED: F.O.A.D., which means every GeForce RTX GPU can play the game at 4K in excess of 90 FPS.

Renowned semiconductor chip maker company Qualcomm has unveiled its latest Snapdragon 888 next-gen flagship chipset during the 2020 edition of the Snapdragon Summit of this year. However, Lei Jun (CEO of Xiaomi) has revealed that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 is going to the first smartphone in the globe to launch with the SD 888 chipset. Now, if we put some light on the relationship between Xiaomi and Redmi, we find that both of them have always very keen to launch smartphones with the latest chipsets. The same thing we have seen at the time of the SD 865 chipset and now, at the time of SD 888, we can expect that alongside Xiaomi, Redmi will also launch a flagship smartphone powered by the SD 888 chipset. So, in 2021, we can expect two flagship smartphones from Xiaomi and Redmi powered by the latest SD 888 chipset.

As of now, we’ve only got the news about the upcoming flagship series. But we don’t know how many smartphones will be there in each series whether it is from Xiaomi or Redmi. Let’s consider the Mi 11 series. If Mi 11 is powered by the SD 888 chipset and this series will have two models, then from Xiaomi, we will be going to get two smartphones powered by the latest chipset. Due to the ongoing pandemic, our dependency on tech devices has increased tremendously. With all this, it is not a secret that we depend on our devices even when monitoring our health. A few weeks back, we heard that Google and Apple collaborated to produce the COVID contact tracing app.

According to sources, after testing the feature on University campuses, the tech giants are finally ready to launch the service in their home-town of California. The app will reportedly go live on December 10th. Initially, the app was launched in Virginia in August, so we can say that it took Google and Apple quite some time to release the tech in their neighborhood.

The developers had added the contact tracing API to iOS and Android back in May. And the app is built around to utilize the API. The service’s minimum requirements are that it requires an iPhone with iOS 14.2 or a phone running Android 6.0 or above with Bluetooth Low Energy. The app’s working is simple; the user’s phone will automatically exchange a private key with another phone if they’re within Bluetooth range.

A gentle reminder the key doesn’t contain the location or personal information of the user. If a person is positive, they can send a notification to every other person using the app. Then the app notifies every user of the app around the sender. It merely means that you have been exposed to the tested positive person, and you should get tested and quarantined.

As mentioned above, California’s state will get the CA Notify app from December 10th, and the citizens can download it from Google Play Store. For iOS users, however, there is a guide provided by the California state administration. Users have to go to the Settings app then to Exposure Notifications. They then have to tap “Turn on Exposure Notifications,” they will then select California as the region and turn on the tracing.

As per some leaks, we have come to know that the Reno 5 Pro+ 5G will sport a Snapdragon 865 SoC whereas the Reno 5 4G is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC. Moreover, another leak has come out that the Reno 5 Pro+ 5G may feature a 50MP primary camera sensor of Sony IMX7-series. So, let’s go check out the tipped specifications of both the upcoming Reno 5 series smartphones from Oppo.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ Specifications

As per the leaks, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ smartphone will feature a similar design as the Reno 5 Pro 5G. Coming to the camera, there will be some differences as it is going to offer the world’s first 50MP Sony IMX 7-series sensor for the primary sensor of the rear camera module. Along with the 50MP primary sensor, the rear camera module will feature a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

In terms of the SoC, the Oppo Reno 5 Pro+ 5G smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC chipset. On the other hand, the Oppo Reno 5 is expected to be powered by the SD 765 5G chipset and the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset will be there for the Oppo Reno 5 Pro smartphone. As per the tipsters, Oppo will launch its Reno 5 series on December 10 this year. But the pricing has not been revealed by them.

Oppo Reno 5 4G Specifications

As per the leaks, the Oppo Reno 5 4G will feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. In terms of the chipset, this phone is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.

Coming to the camera section, this phone is about to feature a quad rear camera setup which includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and two 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, this phone is expected to offer a 44MP selfie snapper at the front.

In terms of the battery, this phone is likely to be fueled up by a decent 4,310mAH battery with a massive 50W fast charging support. This phone will have a polycarbonate rear panel.
