The win against Calcutta Customs made Mohun Bagan the champions of the Calcutta Football League 2018.

 

This is the 30th time Mohun Bagan has won the league. The significance of the league may have decreased after introduction of I-League and ISL. Bu tstill, CFL has a special place in heart of all football lovers in Bengal.

 

 

Mohun Bagan took on Calcutta Customs in their 10th match of the 2018 Calcutta Football League (CFL) Premier Division ‘A’ on Wednesday at the Mohun Bagan ground.

With 23 points from nine matches, the Green and Maroons were the favourites to win the title this season. They were three points above  their rivals East Bengal. East Bengal are second on the points table but are out of the competition for the title. It is a day to celebrate for all Mohun Bagan fans.

Mohun Bagan’s star striker Aser Dipanda is in scintillating form at the moment. The Cameroonian is the highest goal scorer in CFL presently with 10 goals. He has already netted two hat-tricks one of which came in the last match against FCI as the Kolkata giants won 5-0. Captain Kingsley also stood like a pillar in front of the opposition strikers who were unable to create chances because of him. They won today’s match 2-0. Both the goals were scored in the 1st half by Henry. They were creating attacks one after the other.

After 8 long years, the Mariners have managed to lift the Calcutta Football League trophy by defeating Calcutta Customs by 2-0

This is the 30th time Mohun Bagan has won this league. The significance of the league may have decreased after introduction of I-League and ISL, but still, CFL has a special place in heart of all football lovers in Bengal. East Bengal lifted the trophy for last eight consecutive years and that streak has been broken by Mohun Bagan now. They have taken an unassailable lead of six points over rival East Bengal with a match left in hand. It is a day to celebrate for all Mohun Bagan fans.

 

 

With 26 points from ten matches, the Green and Maroons have already got the league in hand.

Mohun Bagan was unlucky last year as they had the same points as East Bengal, but lost out on top of the table considering goal difference. However, this time it has been a clinical performance by the green and maroon brigade under the able coaching of Shankarlal Chakraborty.

 

 

Dicka has truly played a significant role in this league win. Kisseka though has scored in the most important match.

And it’s history again!!!!!!!!! Mohun Bagan has lifted the trophy after 8 long years. After so much frustration and hard work, it is the day of celebration for all Mohun Bagan fans.
Today’s match was won by two great goals from striker Henry Kisseka in the 3rd and 44th minute.
On the other hand, East Bengal club remained dark for the day as they had lost the mini-derby yesterday against Mohameddan.

Tencent Games will be rolling out the new update for PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS. The update brings Sanhok map which can be downloaded independently within the app. Once you’re in the game, open game modes to download Sanhok map. This is the third map on PUBG Mobile along with the existing maps, Erangel and Miramar.

 

It also comes with new weapons and vehicles:

  • Flare Gun: a rare item that calls a super air drop if used within the Playzone, and a Bulletproof UAZ if used outside the Playzone.

  • QBZ: an automatic rifle that fires 5.56mm rounds. Has both single shot and full-auto.
  • Duckbill: an attachment for shotguns. Reduces vertical spread and increases horizontal spread.

  • Added a Collect All button to collect rewards of all completed missions.

  • Season page now shows all seasons played and relevant data such as season titles, the highest tier reached and more.

 

PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 update lets users customise their pickup quantities in settings. Some changes coming to clans include new clan titles, and clan rankings. New anti-cheating measures also come with the update. The game will now have an improved recognition of cheating plug-ins. More report buttons added to spectator mode, basic information and results.

East Bengal took on rivals Mohammedan Sporting in a must-win match in their penultimate round of the CFL Premier Division A’ on Tuesday at the Salt Lake Stadium after losing their last encounter with Peerless. Both the teams have drifted away slightly after dropping four points in their last two matches.Earlier, it was Peerless who brought an end to East Bengal’s 17-games unbeaten streak. In order to maintain their second spot in the points table, it was important that the red and yellow brigade got off to a good start.

It was Johny Acosta who provided East Bengal just that in the 12th-minute of the match.The first half saw East Bengal show glimpses of improvement in their back line, something that looked out of place against Mohan Bagan and Peerless. East Bengal went into half-time with a lead of 1-0, thanks to Acosta’s 12th-minute strike after the Sporting goalkeeper stopped a header off a corner, it was on the rebound that Acosta found the back of the net.In the dying moments of the match, the Mohammedan Sporting came back from behind o score two goals in extra time and win the match.

Finally, Acosta’s goal did not prove to be the difference as East Bengal had to settle for no points. Mohan Bagan is still the top of the points table with 23 points, with East Bengal and Peerless in the second and third spot. But with this loss East Bengal’s Calcutta Football League(CFL) campaign nearly came to an end. If Mohun Bagan looses the last two matches & East Bengal wins their last match with high margin then there is a probability, which is next to impossible.
Mohammedan, on the other hand, are currently standing at the fourth position in the league table with 16 points from eight matches. They have nothing to loose but they also blocked East Bengal from the title’s race.

FIFA and FIFPro have revealed the 55 players who have been shortlisted for the 2018 World XI. The World XI will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London on September 24.

 

About 25 000 professional footballers from all over the world took part in the nomination process for the World XI. The players with the most votes ended up on four positional shortlists.

 

 

France, the FIFA World Cup 208 winner, have eight players in the shortlist. Former holders Spain have one more player than them in the shortlist. Ten players out of the last year’s World XI, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been named on the list. Spanish giants Real Madrid is the best represented club. They have 11 players in the list.

FIFA World Cup 2018 semi-finalists England have three nominations. Tottenham Hotspur’s pair Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier as well as Manchester City’s Kyle Walker are in the shortlist. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are the only two African nominees.

But suprisingly, Wales and Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has not make the shortlist. He scored twice in the Champions League final in May and helped Real Madrid to win 3-1.

  • Gianluigi Buffon was named goalkeeper in last year’s World XI. He has been on the list of nominees every season since 2004/05. Like Buffon, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been on the shortlist in every single year since 2004/05.
  • Mario Mandzukic is back on the list for the first time since his only previous appearance, in 2013.
  • Manuel Neuer was not nominated this year despite having previously made the World XI in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Zlatan Ibrahimovic also did not receive enough votes to make the shortlist for the first time in 12 years.

 

This is the 14th edition of the World XI, having been established by FIFPro, the World Players’ Union, in 2005. It later merged with FIFA in 2009. The World XI will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards in London on September 24.

PUBG Mobile version 0.8.0 hitting the market on September 12th, Sanhok map comes to PUBG Mobile with some other major changes…

PUBG is consistently dominating the gaming market due to its regular update which adds a new dimension to the game.

A similar update patch may be available to us very soon which will have many amazing features including a new map Sanhok which is already available in the beta version of the game.

The Sanhok Map is smaller in size as compared to other maps like Erangel and Miramar due to which we can expect early action. The number of players will be 100, unlike other maps. It has more loot and smaller circles which move faster. Overall it accelerates the pace of the game. Besides these, there are few more specific changes :

New features & Changes

* Introduction of new weather conditions namely foggy and rainy.

  • We will be able to use two new weapons QBZ and Beryl.

 

 

*Introduction of Bulletproof UAZ and Muscle car

  • There will be new attachments of Duckbill muzzle for S1897 and S12K.

*Other optimizations include:

  • The range of shotgun bullets will be adjusted, the bullets will be more densely distributed
  • Bullets can now penetrate underwater and hit enemies
  • The M24 sniper rifle will now be removed from the airdrop and will be randomly placed around the whole map
  • There will be an optimized performance of the red dot sight and 8x scope, also you can get 6x and 8x scope zoom optimizations

 

  • Now, the sensitivity for 3x and 6x scopes can be adjusted
  • You can also view the list of spectators in the battle
  • Players will be able to choose their own play strategy before matching to better match players who have a similar play style
  • There will be an optimized backpack menu display & a modified UI to increase image display of your character and also your teammate’s character
  • Other minor changes & several bug fixes

Apart from this, PUBG is taking some anti-cheating measures for the hackers. There’s also some good news for gamers- Those who will update the game before September 21 will get an Outfit Box III (7d) and 1,888 BP.

The update will be available for Indian gamers after 13:30 (IST) on September 11 and from the next days all the new features will be included.

Cupertino giant Apple is soon launching their new range of products at their ‘Gather Round’ event to held on September 12th. Here’s all you need to know about it.

The tech giant Apple has already been trending these days for its recent launches. They are likely to launch all of their new products including iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and their iOS, MacOS.

All these will be launched at Apple’s ‘Gather Round’ event that is to be held on September 12th at Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater.

The expected new iPhones are already trending and has been popular everywhere around. Well, here is all the other stuff that will likely be showcased at the event:

1. The 2018 iPhones

Well, there will be an Apple event and no iPhone? That just cannot happen… So, finally, Apple will reveal the new gen of iPhone at this event. This time, not one, not two there will be 3 brand iPhones for you.

There’ll be a new device named iPhone XS that will feature a 5.8-inch OLED display. For the design, we still have the same glass sandwich design with a stainless steel frame. With more internal storage, better processor and dual cameras, this will be another worthy flagship grade smartphone.

Apple will launch a bigger iPhone XS-like phone – the new iPhone XS Plus with a massive 6.5-inch OLED display. For the design, storage, camera, processor and all the specs this one will be much like the latter.

The company is also expected to launch a cheaper iPhone X like phone, the new iPhone XC that will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display, a glass sandwich design with an aluminum frame. As the other iPhones, this one will not have great premium cameras but will have just a decent one. 2. New iPad Pro 2018

Already this year Apple has launched their affordable range of iPads this 2018. The 6th gen iPads with Apple Pencil support has received huge appreciation from Apple lovers and with an affordable budget, they won the hearts of tech enthusiasts.

Well according to leaks, the new iPad Pro might have two variants of – 11-inch & 12.9 inch. It is expected to have a fresh look, featuring an aluminum body and thin bezels around the corners of the screen. So, there can be a death of the home button on the new iPad Pro.

The macOS Mojave, which was announced at WWDC in June this year, will bring a ton of improvements and UI changes including a brand new system-wide dark mode.

4. New Apple Watch series 4

As this is an upgradation from the previous gen Apple Watch series, so you can expect some great upgradations. The smartwatch wi reportedly come with 15% larger display and have a thinner design.

Also, you can expect some thinner bezels along with larger battery life. The smartwatch could be powered by S4 & W3 chipsets with 18GB of storage.

The Apple Watch series 4 may also feature cellular connectivity, along with advanced heart rate tracking.

5. iOS 12, watchOS 5, tvOS 12

Also, the watchOS will be upgraded to watchOS 5 & the tvOS will also get a major upgrade to version 12.
