New Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Outbreak Mode Came Out On The Official Website

0

Call of Duty: Cold War Outbreak mode was in the rumor in recent days and now it seems, Activision has confirmed it accidentally. This mode will be like an “open-world Zombies” mode. It is said that the Outbreak will take place on a large-scale Fireteam map.

The rumored new open-world zombies mode could be added soon to the Cold War. Call of Duty leaker, Okami spotted that the official Call of Duty website has briefly described the new game mode, stated as “a new, large-scale zombies experience”.

The website had also mentioned a trailer for the new mode, which suggests that soon, we are going to get the announcement trailer.

According to ‘Okami’, there may appear a cross-promo for the upcoming Zombies Outbreak mode between Call of Duty: Warzone and Cold War. Many rumors are there in the air that Activision is creating an entire event around the large-scale zombies mode.

The leaker said in a follow-up tweet, that the Outbreak mode might really be a “bigger deal” than a lot of people expect.

Whether the new Zombies Outbreak mode was intentionally posted on the official Zombies homepage to build up some craze is not clear right now. There is also a possibility that a certain person pressed the “update website” button a little early.

We’ll let you know anything more comes out about the Call of Duty: Black Ops Warzone Zombies Outbreak mode. Stay tuned with us.

Hugo Boumous banned for 4 games: Does it really make a difference?

Mumbai City FC player Hugo Boumous has been banned for the next four matches by the AIFF due to ‘insulting and demeaning match officials.’ The incident took place in their match against FC Goa, which ended 3-3. The player received his fourth yellow card in that game before being sent off in the 96th minute for abusing referee Pranjal Banerjee.

Boumous originally received a two-match ban due to an accumulation of yellow cards, but this recent event has not only prevented him from featuring before the playoffs but has also slapped a fine on him worth Rs 2 lakh for ‘gross serious indisciplinary unsporting acts and misdemeanours’.

Mumbai’s future is quite secure in this case, since they have already managed to get themselves a place in the playoffs this season. The Frenchman has been the source of 11 goals this season for the Cityzens, and is the backbone of their creativity in the heart of the park.

While they have only three games left in the group stage of the campaign against Jamshedpur, Odisha and league leaders ATK Mohun Bagan at the end, all the three, in particular, the one against Mohun Bagan will be crucial in them gaining momentum heading into the playoffs.

The club will have to rely on their other talents in the absence of the highest assist provider in the league. However, Boumous should be fresh and available at the end of his ban and will be a welcome sight back into the starting XI when he does make his return.

Top 5 players who went unsold in the IPL 2021

The Indian Premier League is always unpredictable, so does its auction. You never know what is there in the store, as sometimes not-so-known are bought for crores by the famous franchises, while some famous and top cricketers may remain unsold.

As the mini-auction before IPL 2021 was successfully conducted in Chennai Thursday, it was full of surprises, as few top players like Aaron Finch, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Marnus Labuschagne were in dismay as they could not find any place in any of the franchises.

Let’s have a look at top 5 unsold players this IPL 2021 auction:

Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch, Australia’s skipper in limited-overs who has 2005 runs to his name in 87 IPL matches, and also a regular in the IPL was left disappointed after no team showed interest in him. Maybe some of the reasons for him being unsold is his average performance in the IPL 2020, where he scored 268 runs from 12 matches and was released by RCB for IPL 2021.

Jason Roy

Jason Roy, who was also expected to attract the teams also remained unsold. Although he was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 1.5 crore prior to IPL 2020, unfortunately he had to leave midway due to some personal reasons. However, his IPL stats are not that bad, as he has played just eight matches, and has scored 179 runs including an unbeaten 91 for Gujarat Lions in 2018.

Kyle Meyers

Mayers recently hit a double ton on his debut and also helped his tea to a historic win against Bangladesh this month, but still couldn’t manage to get a team and remained unsold with the base price of Rs 50 lakh, maybe due to his not-so-good performance in the T20 with 54 innings with a score of only 688 runs with an average of 16.78 and with 110.78 strike rate.

Alex Hales

Alex Hales displayed a fantastic performance at the Big Bash League recently, with 543 runs to his name from only 15 matches with an average of 38.78 for Sydney Thunder. He was one of those big names in the auction and was expected a lot of attention but unfortunately, no franchise showed interest in him, maybe due to his off-field conduct due to which he had to stay away from the national side since 2019.

Liam Plunkett

The England pacer Liam Plunkett was left disheartened as no franchises showed interest in him, but also, as a matter of fact, he has played his limited over cricket last for the national team long back in 2019. However, he has played for Daredevils for 7 matches in the IPL, bagging only four wickets at an economy of 9.0.

Manchester City deny offering Messi a £430 million contract

0

With the final months of the 20/21 season approaching, Lionel Messi is set to become the most valuable free agent at the end of the campaign. That, of course, is considering that Messi is not convinced by the new project at Barcelona when the new President is elected and they do not reach an agreement regarding a contract extension.

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are the two clubs that have been the most heavily linked in securing the Argentinian’s services if he does indeed go on to leave Barcelona. The main reason that these links are believable is because only these two clubs have the financial backing to go ahead and sign Messi on the humongous wage that he is on.

Messi's father is already in talks with Manchester City

However, despite Pep Guardiola’s relationship with Leo Messi and City’s financial strength, the Manchester Blues have dismissed claims that they offered the 6-time Ballon d’Or winner a £430 million contract over five years.

In reality, the club is yet to enter negotiations with Messi regarding a contract at the club. Moreover, Barcelona themselves have not yet made up their mind regarding the player’s future at Camp Nou either.

FC Barcelona want Aguero in a free transfer

Former Chelsea man Joe Cole has criticised the Argentinian regarding his attitude on the pitch in Barcelona’s recent 4-1 defeat to PSG in the Champions League:

‘Messi looked disinterested. It’s really hard for any ex-player to criticise him because he’s a genius and the greatest player I’ve seen play football but tonight he didn’t look like he was emotionally engaged in the game.

‘You’d have to do your due diligence before you sign Messi. The 34-year-old Messi, if he plays like that it will be a gamble. To take him into a club where Pep relies on energy, enthusiasm, togetherness.

messi red Manchester City deny offering Messi a £430 million contract

‘It’s a mess at Barca, I don’t know how they’re going to sort it out. I can’t see Messi staying there.

Messi is not happy with the current situation at Barcelona, and that is concerning from the point of view of Barcelona fans, who have come to associate the club so strongly with the legendary player.

Wilfred Zaha challenges the practice of taking the knee in England

0

Crystal Palace star Wilfred Zaha has challenged the practice of taking the knee before kicking off matches in England, claiming that the gesture has lost its meaning and has further gone on to say that taking the knee has further made black footballers a target for abuse on social media.

Here is what the player had to say regarding the issue that has long plagued not only football but all aspects of society:

‘I’ve said before that I feel like taking the knee is degrading and stuff because growing up my parents just let me know that I should be proud to be black no matter what and I feel like we should just stand tall.

‘Trying to get the meaning behind it, it’s becoming something that we just do now and that’s not enough for me.

‘I’m not going to take the knee, I’m not going to wear Black Lives Matter on the back of my shirt because it feels like it’s a target. We’re trying to say that we’re equal but we’re isolating ourselves with these things that aren’t even working anyway, so that’s my stand on it.

‘I feel like we should stand tall. Now I don’t really tend to speak on racism and stuff like that because I’m not here just to tick boxes. Unless action is going to happen, don’t speak to me about it.’

It is difficult to disagree with Zaha regarding his stance on the issue, since simply taking a knee before kick-off seems like something that the people involved take part in only as a formality now. The purpose of raising an awareness for racist abuse and preventing it is being lost, with no difference noticeable despite all that has been said and done to combat it.

ATK Mohun Bagan made the double over their rival SC East Bengal

ATK Mohun Bagan won the prestigious ‘Kolkata Derby’. They made the double over their rival SC East Bengal in the 100th year of the legendary Kolkata derby. The Mariners have five wins in a row now and lead Mumbai City FC by five points at the top of the Hero Indian Super League table.

ATK Mohun Bagan beat SC East Bengal convincingly by 3-1 at the Fatorda Stadium on Friday. Both the teams were come up with an unchanged XI. Roy Krishna opened the deadlock on the 15th minute of the game. But SC East Bengal pulled one back through an own goal from Tiri before half-time. But the Mariners sealed the victory after two excellent goals from David Williams and Javier Hernandez.

SINGH37 0342 ATK Mohun Bagan made the double over their rival SC East Bengal

ATK Mohun Bagan made their intentions clear from the start, putting the SCEB defense under pressure. SCEB failed to find the solution in the whole match. Defensive errors cost East Bengal many times this season and today was not any different.

SC East Bengal assistant coach Tony Grant was unhappy with the second goal conceded by his team. After the match, he said, “I thought it was a good derby game. It was an honest game. Strong game. Obviously, the sloppy goal that we gave away, the second goal was the turning point. It is a derby game, it’s a (goal) each and we gifted them the second goal.”

“In the derby game, the opposition did not do too much to win the game. We helped them. Both teams canceled each other out. It wasn’t great football played by both the teams. They have a ball over the top that’s their gameplan. It was a big game. The second goal was the turning point. Of course. At 1-1, we had bright runs. We gifted them the goal. At 1-1 It was very hard to pick who was going to win the game.”- he added.

The season has already ended for the Kolkata giant, SC East Bengal. It was not a satisfying debut season for them. The Red and Gold will surely need to think about this before the start of the next season and want to come back stronger in the 2021-22 season.

Dortmund to receive bids for Erling Haaland this summer

Erling Haaland has managed to establish himself as one of, if not the single best young talent in the whole wide world. The Norwegian joined Borussia Dortmund only a year ago and has managed to become their most consistent and effective player on the pitch in just over 12 months.

Clubs all across Europe are hence, keeping an eye on the striker to possibly secure his services in the future. The situation could escalate in the summer of 2021 as well, according to Fabrizio Romano on Twitter. Dortmund will be receiving important bids in the summer for Erling Haaland despite a release clause in his contract which comes into effect from 2022.

In the modern world where money talks in football above most other factors, Dortmund could be forced to accept a big-money bid if they fail to qualify for the Champions League through the Bundesliga.

And chances of that happening can actually be questioned due to their shaky performances in recent times that have raised cause for concern. Moreover, the reunion with Marco Rose next season could also convince the Golden Boy to stay.

The authorities at the Westfalenstadion have consistently denied that there is a release clause in Haaland’s contract in 2021 and that the one that does exist only comes into place next year. It is also well worth noting that the player is actually happy at the club and wants to stay for the time being.
