Lenovo Yoga laptops are one of the best-selling line-ups of the company. Stated to be top quality products by the manufacturer, the company firmly believes that the upcoming models will significantly contribute towards the company.
In recent reports, the PC manufacturer has posted a teaser image on its Weibo accounts to announce the 2021 Yoga 5G convertible. According to sources, the machine will feature the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G compute platform from Qualcomm. In the promo, the company has highlighted the chipset more rather than the laptop itself.
But reports suggest that the laptop will be a thin and light model and will only weigh 1.35 kg (2.98 lbs) along with a 60 Wh battery.
For the buyers looking for a lightweight laptop with a powerful mobile processor, the Lenovo Yoga 5G certainly looks like a viable option. The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G platform can utilise the new and powerful 5G technology, which is rare even in high-end laptops.
The company reports that buyers in China will be the first to utilize the machine’s network capabilities, as they will get a free 5G package included with the purchase. Last year we saw Lenovo Yoga 5G 2020, powered by the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 1 platform.
The laptop failed to impress in many ways, but its successor, the 2021 Lenovo Yoga 5G, powered by the 2nd generation Snapdragon 8cx seems extremely promising. It can offer improved battery life over laptops using rival SoCs, and it features enhanced security features. The newer chipset also supports Bluetooth 5.1 and Wi-Fi 6.
The GPU battle is heating up between AMD and Nvidia. The next road map of Nvidia is out in the open, and we know that the green team is preparing to launch its new RTX 3060 cards by the end of this month. Now that Nvidia has revealed its next move, it is time for team Red to take the next step. And team red is ready for the big reveal.
It seems that AMD was indeed preparing for Nvidia to reveal all its cards so that it can strike hard. According to sources, Advanced Micro Devices will release its next entry, the Radeon RX 6700 mid-range GPUs, in March.
The company was supposed to release the product during CES 2021, but it deliberately withheld the release of the line-up. Now we know why it did so. French publication Cowcotland somehow received word that the RX 6700 series is to be launched on March 18, exactly 3 weeks after the RTX 3060 launch.
Sources also indicate that AMD is expected to announce the RX 6700 GPUs’ laptop version, but whether they will be launched together with the desktop versions is not yet known. Reports suggest that the company will also launch the mobile equivalent for the desktop RX 6700 XT with specs that include 40 compute units with 2560 stream processors, up to 12 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, and a 192-bit memory bus. A non-XT desktop version with only 6 GB of VRAM and dynamic TGP running between 146 and 156 W is also rumored to be launched.
As we already know, currently, the world is facing a shortage of semi-conductor, and manufacturers across the world are banding together to solve this global crisis. As such, the French publication Scotland states that the RX 6700 XT cards will be “very limited.”
A huge success was achieved of the spacecraft’s journey to the red planet that has extended the record of America about the safe landings there to six. NASA has landed successfully the new robotic rover on Mars Thursday, a great way to study directly the existence of life on the planet.
After the successful landing of the robotic rover on Mars on Thursday, studying directly about there was life on the red planet or not will become a little easy. It has also known that the agency has landed other missions on Mars, the $2.7 billion robotic explorers which are named Perseverance that carries a modified set of scientific tools that possesses advanced abilities to search for life beyond our planet.
A photo provided by NASA, shows members of NASA’s Perseverance rover team reacting in mission control after receiving confirmation the spacecraft successfully touched down on Mars, Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. (Bill Ingalls/NASA via The New York Times) — FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY. —
This robotic rover, Perseverance is the third one from earth to visit the red planet this month. In the last week, there are two other spacecraft one named Hope from the United Arab Emirates and the other is Tianwen-1 from china was also entered the orbit around Mars. But the spacecraft of NASA had not visited the orbit first, instead, it had zipped across the direct path to the surface.
I’m safe on Mars. Perseverance will get you anywhere.
According to the eastern time at 3:48 p.m. the controllers at the mission operations center at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory near Pasadena, Calif has been received word from perseverance that it had successfully visited the top of the Martian atmosphere with a speed of more than 12000 miles per hour. After it had to launch successfully, it released two images on Thursday.
The red planet is recently 126 million miles away from Earth. As we know that the radio signals can travel at the speed of light, which can take 1 minute to travel from there to here. It indicates the calculation that while the announcing of the message the beginning of the landing sequence reached Earth, then the rover had already been there at about four minutes. The main fact was whether it was there in one piece or broke into many pieces like the other human-made craters on the Mars surface.
Periodic announcements have been made with the progress through the atmosphere, the deceleration, and also the heating as it was sliced through the thin Martian Air. It also had a deployment of a giant parachute even if it was at a supersonic speed, that shedding the rover’s heat shield so that it can navigate its cameras towards the destination and also slow the descent of the firing of the rocket engines. Finally, the rover was lowered at the end of a cable under a jetpack powered by the rocket until it has touched the surface.
At night 3:55 the entire control room was shouted with cheers with the announcement of Touchdown confirmed said by Swati Mohan who is the engineer that provides the commentary on the descent.
The Role of the Robotic Rover
For the last 20 years, NASA has eventually faced many tough questions about Mars. Their first target was to follow the water which is the main reason of existing of life. From the giant canyons, winding river channels, and the symbol of dried-up lakes one thing was confirmed that water was flowed on Mars in the past, even if the planet is now dry and cold today.
Jezero Crater
After landing successfully on Mars on Thursday in Jezero Crater, it was found an ancient Martian lake which has the size of Lake Tahoe. It has also sent some pic of the river delta on its way to the crater rim. The main destination of Perseverance is Jezero Crater. The rover later discovers the delta of a river that was flowed once into a lake that filled the crater. There has a promising place named piles of sediments where still might fossils chemical signature preserves the ancient Martian microbes.
Information about Perseverance
The mission of NASA based on a 2200 pound rover, and ingenuity with also an experimental Mars Helicopter. The design of the rover is more similar to the curiosity rover, which is now observing the Gale Crater but it also had carried a differ4ent instruments set included with the sophisticated cameras, lasers that can find out the chemical makeups of the rocks, and also the round penetrating radar. All the tools were tested on earth to demonstrate the possibilities of searching for signs of past life.
Significance of Marscopter
The engineers of NASA used a materials series and advanced computer technology to overcome the challenges. After two months of the landing, Perseverance will release a helicopter from its belly and with ingenuity, it will attempt a series of about five test flights of increased duration. If the test becomes successful they have decided to send larger Marscopters. Robotic fliers can expand greatly a space agency’s capability to study the Martian landscape with huge details.
Landing on Mars
The Perseverance had needed to decelerate 12000 miles per hour to stop completely during NASA calls seven minutes of terror for the period of rover’s visiting at the atmosphere until its landing. The Perseverance path was intersected with the Mars surface. The thin atmospheric level has added several difficulties. It is informed that the spacecraft was needed a heat shield due to the compression of air molecules heating because it hits the bottom side to thousands of degrees.
Engineers across the globe are changing the world every day with new ideas and innovations; when you think about Indian engineers, one name will definitely come into your mind – Sonam Wangchuk.
The “3 Idiots” movie was based upon him, and we have known his various inventions and good work over the years. He is an engineer known for designing a SECMOL campus that runs entirely on solar power and no fossil fuels; Mr. Sonam Wangchuk is an engineer, innovator, and reformist.
This time, he has come up with a new idea for soldiers who have to stay at extremely cold places without a proper roof. With his new Solar Heated Military Tent invention, soldiers can enjoy staying in a tent that is heated up during the night using solar energy.
The education reformer has claimed that even though the temperature outside the tent is -14C at night, the tent gives warmth and maintains a +15C temperature. He shows the test was done at Galwan Valley and claims that the tent can accommodate 10 soldiers at a time.
Interestingly, Sonam has claimed that the huge tent is portable and weighs less than 30Kg, and if that’s so, it could be rightfully used by soldiers in the future. Obviously, this will help comfort soldiers who stay in harsh weather conditions and reduce the usage of kerosene or fossil fuel used until now.
What is your thoughts about this invention? Tell us in the comments down below…😎

Manchester United has faced some difficulties signing their targets in the transfer window. Manchester United chief Ed Woodward was criticized for his poor transfer policy in the last couple of seasons. Some fans and former players have suggested appointing a sporting director to take care of the transfer business.
Earlier it was reported that Manchester United is considering recruiting Edwin Van Der Sar for the Sporting Director role. But recently they are looking for some other options as well.
As per some recent report, Manchester United have identified Juventus’ chief scout Matteo Tognozzi as a possible candidate to become the club’s sporting director.
Matteo Tognozzi is Juventus’s chief scout since 2017. Previously he had worked for Zenit St.Petersburg, Bayer Leverkusen, and Hamburg. Tognozzi is regarded as one of Europe’s most pioneering recruitment specialists.
He has established a solid working relationship with Juventus’ former general manager Giuseppe Marotta. The pair has made some hugely successful transfer strategies in the last couple of transfer windows. The pair have succeeded to sign several key signings such as Wojciech Szczesny and Weston McKennie and many more. Juventus’s modern transfer strategy has arguably paved the way to continue in their Serie A dominance.
However, as per Stretty news, senior officials at United are putting together an offer for Matteo Tognozzi. The report also suggests Scottish side Celtic is also interested to recruit Tognozzi. But Red Devils are hopeful that Tognozzi will snub Celtic and take the reins at Old Trafford instead.
Earlier it was reported that Luis Suarez was about to leave Barcelona for free as he was frozen out of plans by Koeman and the Barcelona board. Suarez was sold to Barcelona’s direct rival in La Liga, Atletico Madrid, where he has been in red hot form since the beginning of the season.
Now a recent report in Sport has come up, which states that the transfer of Suarez was not a free transfer and it did involve monetary transactions. Atletico Madrid were required to pay €5m upfront and another €6m is based on various performance related pays.
The three variables on which €6m depends are:
€2m if Suarez plays 20 games for Atletico Madrid. Barcelona has already got this amount.
€2m if Atletico Madrid reaches to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Simeone’s men faces Chelsea in the Round of 16 so if they win, Barcelona will get this amount.
The €2m is based on Suarez’s performances next season.
Luis Suarez wanted this transfer to happen for free as he was hurt by Barcelona’s decision to freeze him out of the squad. So the transfer fee was not disclosed earlier.
The Uruguayan striker has scored 16 goals in 19 games and is one goal ahead of his close friend and former team-mate Lionel Messi. Barcelona are definitely regretting their decision to let Suarez leave.
Atletico Madrid are currently at the top of the La Liga table, six points ahead of their city rivals Real Madrid and more importantly they have a game in hand. This could well be Atletico Madrid’s season and break the duopoly of Real Madrid and Barcelona on the La Liga title.
