After the launch of the Mi 10 series with members Xiaomi Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T Lite, Xiaomi is about to add a new member in it, named Xiaomi Mi 10i. Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi 10i smartphone for the Indian market and the date has been already confirmed, 5Th January 2021. Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Global VP and Managing Director of the Indian division have also added that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10i will be an India-focused smartphone as it has been specially customized and designed for India.

Another report has come out regarding the Mi 10i is that it will feature a brand-new camera sensor. As of now, the company has not confirmed anything regarding the camera sensor. On Wednesday, Los Angeles Lakers megastar LeBron James rang in his 36th birthday by extending his 10+ point-scoring streak to quadruple digits, making him the first player in the NBA history score a minimum of 10 points in 1,000 consecutive regular games.

The moment came in a game against the San Antonio Spurs. With about six minutes left in the second quarter, James drew a mismatch on the post against Keldon Johnson, backed him down, and put up an easy hook shot for two points. He ended the night with 26 points in a 121-107 Lakers win.

After the game, James said, “I just go out there and try to prepare and be the best every night I step on the floor.” “If I’m in uniform I’ve got to do things that help our team win. If It’s scoring, rebounding, defending, assisting, doing little thing. Just be available for my teammates throughout the course of the game when I’m on the floor, also on the bench. And I’ve been fortunate enough to do that throughout my career for the majority of it,” he added.

The record was previously held by Michael Jordan by scoring at least 10 points in 866 games straight. James passed it for the longest double-digit scoring streak in NBA history on March 30, 2018. He scored 27 points against the New Orleans Pelicans to move up to the No. 1 spot on the all-time list with 867 consecutive games of at least 10 points. The second-longest active streak belongs to James Harden at 411 consecutive games. The streak itself is equivalent to almost 12.2 full seasons in a row. Great Hall of Famers like James Worthy and Isiah Thomas did not even play 1,000 regular-season games in their whole career.

With the sacking of Thomas Tuchel as manager of Paris Saint-Germain on Christmas Eve, the club is currently without a man in charge of their first team. Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been very closely linked with a job and has been given the “Here We Go” by Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, meaning that the deal is as good as done.

Clarifying the situation on the “Here We Go” podcast on Patreon, Fabrizio Romano, and Francesco Porzio said that only minor details had to be sorted out between the club and Pochettino.

While rumors are flying about linking all sorts of players with Paris Saint-Germain when the Argentinian takes charge, it must be kept in mind that the deal is yet to be made official by both parties. 

Dele Alli has been heavily linked with a potential loan move to France. The rumor makes sense because the player is not getting a lot of playing time under Jose Mourinho and is looking to move away for the sole purpose of getting minutes on the pitch.

There were rumours linking Leandro Paredes with a swap move to Inter Milan with Eriksen going the other way. However, the journalistic pair dismissed the rumours of a swap deal as well. 

While Inter Milan are still waiting to receive the right bid for Eriksen, he is sure to leave the club. Paris Saint-Germain’s economic strength makes them top contenders to land the signature of the player, along with their need for an attack minded midfielder to take the creative pressure off the front three.

Apart from it, Samsung has confirmed its Display Technology Event on January 6 and all-new Exynos on January 12. Now, let’s talk about that video briefly.

The main attraction of that teaser video is a tagline from which it begins: “New Year, New ways to express yourself” and after that, it starts showing the evolution of the Galaxy S series of smartphones, starting with 2010’s first-ever Galaxy S, Galaxy S5’s water-resistance feature, curved display in the Galaxy S6 to a hole-punch display in the S10 and S20 series.

As per directions of the Hon’ble Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (“TRAI”), Bill and Keep regime is being implemented in the country from 1st January 2021,
thereby ending interconnect usage charges (IUC) for all domestic voice calls. Honouring its commitment to revert off-net domestic voice-call charges to zero, as soon as IUC charges are abolished, Jio will once again make all off-net domestic voice calls free, starting 1st January On-net domestic voice calls have always been free on the Jio network.

For context, in September 2019, when TRAI extended the timeline for implementation of the Bill & Keep regime beyond 1st January 2020, Jio was left with no option but to start charging its customers for offnet voice calls, at a rate exactly equivalent to the applicable IUC charge. While doing so, Jio had assured its users that this charge would continue only till the time TRAI abolished IUC charges. Today, Jio has delivered on that promise and made off-net voice calls free again.
