Pochettino to PSG is a mental boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

0

Paris Saint Germain sacked their manager Thomas Tuchel last week. As per multiple reports in Europe, Mauricio Pochettino is expected to be the manager of the French club. There he will join his countrymen Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi, and Leandro Paredes. Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen are also linked with Paris Saint Germain to re-unite with Pochettino.

If Pochettino finally agreed to join Paris Saint Germain then it can be very good news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United was highly linked with Mauricio Pochettino since the Argentine was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur.

Whenever Manchester United faced some difficulties or run in a bad phase, Pochettino’s name popped up to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Some of the Manchester United fans and some football pundits also suggested the same.

Pochettino to PSG will boost Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from a mental point of view. It is sometimes very disgusting and frustrating for a manager to learn that his job is in stakes for a few bad games. If Pochettino joins PSG there will be none of the reputed managers to replace Ole other than Max Allegri, who is now almost a year jobless now after he lost his post as Juventus manager.

After Sir Alex retired in 2013, present West Ham United manager David Moyes took charge. But he was sacked within the first 8 months of his spell. After that Luis Van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and at last Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became the manager. But everyone failed to make Manchester United best again.

But Manchester United chief Ed Woodward always said that Manchester United will keep faith in the Norweigan and they are satisfied with the plans of Ole.

The 7 questions you can expect Messi to answer on today’s La Sexta interview

0

Today will be a historical day as we will know whether the GOAT, often referred to as Lionel Messi, will be staying at Barcelona or not. After the controversial debate regarding his exit from the club and his abrupt burofax to the then-president Bartomeu did make the fans anxious and the world got crazy with that.

After that, he gave an interview with Goal telling about his decisions and his clash with Bartomeu. With a lot of sobs and tears, fans too became emotional, wanting the President to be removed, so did he, but in a respectable way but rather knowing that he has no option but defeat.

Eventually, Messi has stayed at the club but his contract is till next summer transfer window, so he has to renew his contract by 2021. Else he can make a move to any club that can afford him, literally for free next summer and this has made every Barca fan nervous.

However, La Sexta’s interview today with Messi will indeed give fans some insights to what we can expect to know from the great Argentine. So, they have officially released a blog stating what things you can expect from today’s interview with Leo:

Messi's father is already in talks with Manchester City

1. Will you stay at Barca or change the City of Barcelona to Paris or Manchester?

If Leo leaves Barcelona there will be very few clubs that can really afford his wages and among them will surely be Manchester City and PSG. Now, these both clubs have been in debate most of the times because of Messi’s admiration towards Pep Guardiola and financially they can afford him as well.

He wants to win everything for the rest of the years in his career and with Pep’s Manchester City that can really be a great opportunity. Now, PSG is also determined to win Champions League but they couldn’t pass the final hurdle last time and Neymar, knowing Barcelona cannot bring him back, wants Messi by his side if possible and so PSG could also be a desirable destination for Messi.

2. How did your relationship with Josep Maria Bartomeu end?

Bartomeu’s reign at the club ended bitterly, and Messi’s relation with him never went well, especially since the things he did at the club were not Messi’s liking ever. So, howsoever things he might have done to force Messi to stay did never made fans happy.

His abrupt resignation also remains a question, and the financial condition he has left the club in is also a point to be noticed. So, all in all, Messi is expected to say a lot of things about how it all ended with Josep Maria Bartomeu.

3. Do you support any presidential candidates?

Everyone knows Barcelona’s next presidential election is scheduled next month, and practically, the man who will lead the club can decide Messi’s future. Candidates like Laporta, Víctor Font, Jordi Farré have always said that their project will be based surrounding Messi.

However, we haven’t heard anything about presidential elections from Messi yet, so it will be interesting to what’s Messi’s point of view on this today.

4. How did Luis Suarez’s exit sit?

The exit of Luis Saurez was obviously very painful for Messi as he did not get the respect he deserved and was thrown out of the team to reduce the club’s wage bill, which was out of range because of the inaccurate leadership of Bartomeu.

5. What do you think of Neymar’s latest statements?

Neymar’s comment on Messi’s future also stirred the entire the world as the former Brazilian has opened the door for Messi. However, it still remains an issue where Messi will go or will he end up staying at Camp Nou, and we will know at least something today of how he feels at the club and whether he has the mentality to stay or not.

6. Has the team improved after Koeman’s arrival?

In recent times, managers at Barcelona have been a disaster, Valverde’s ending, Setien’s abrupt introduction, and Koeman’s arrival – all these happened in a year now. So, how’s Messi handling all this, and what’s his point of view regarding this remains a thing to watch out for.

7. How did Maradona’s death live?

The saddest news in recent times will obviously be the great Diego Maradona’s death and this has created a hollow in the hearts of all Maradona fans along with the Argentines. Being the leader of Argentina, Messi’s thoughts towards the legendary figure is also a point to note in this interview, including his sweet gesture of showing the number ’10’ Newell jersey in love towards Diego.

All of this will eventually be answered today by Messi at the interview with La Sexta scheduled at 21.25 Spanish time or at 1.55 am IST of 28th December.

Apple’s Next-Gen AirPods to be controlled by clicking teeth and other body movements

Technological innovations took us from a normal button or a keypad to an elegant touch-sensitive area. We are still on a road of transformation, but it seems that the US tech giant, Apple, will take another huge step towards innovation. Their new patent shows some new and cool features, but becoming a reality very soon sounds tough.

The patent talks about how you can control media functions for wireless earphones. We might see it in upcoming AirPods TWS earbuds, but there is no surety to it.

Source: Patently Apple

It is called “Detecting Through-Body Inputs At A Wearable Audio Device.” According to this patent, body movements or face movements will be enough to communicate to the Air pods what the user wants. Thus, building a device with no physical buttons or digital crowns. How amazing is that?

The wearable audio device will change its operation depending on the kind of input or inputs. By just clicking your teeth or tongue, you would be able to switch music, play or pause it. On paper, this looks like a disrupting idea for the industry. An idea that was thought of as something that can never occur, but if Apple is after it, you would be foolish not to believe that it cannot happen.

Source: Patently Apple

The patent reads, “The user may contact an exterior surface of their body, such as the skin on his or her face. Further examples of input actions include a user clicking his or her teeth together or clicking his or her tongue. Input actions may further include a user moving a body part, such as moving (e.g., shaking) his or her head, moving his or her hands, arms, legs, and so on.”

Still, there are a lot of complexities involved. For example, imagine you were just clicking your teeth during a conversation with another person. Will that be interpreted as a signal by the Air Pods? It would be really irritating and a failure of a design if this happens. Thus, it is great to see Apple’s move towards futuristic ideas but we have to be patient and see how this process goes through.
