Last year ASUS announced their new affordable 2-in-1 laptop ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TM420 laptop with AMD Ryzen 4000U processors. These laptops were very well received in the market but were hard to get because of the demand; having owned one and reviewed one, the VivoBook Flip 14 is a great 2-in-1 option for the budget.
So, ASUS has this time just refreshed the hardware of the laptop, rest everything remains almost the same. You still get a 14-inch full-HD LED-backlit touch display with 45% NTSC coverage and to be fair its quite good but could have been more color accurate for the asked price.
Much like last year, you can still configure the VivoBook Flipk 14 with up to an 8 core, 16 threaded AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, so you can opt for the budget Ryzen 3 5300U or the Ryzen 5 5500U. The laptop comes with 8 GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz, which is expandble up to 12GB as one slot is soldered and you get up to 512GB M.2 NVME PCIe X2 SSD for storage.
Connectivity and ports remains the same as that of last-gen with Wi-Fi 6 & Bluetooth 5.0 support, while for ports you have a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, HDMI 1.4, audio jack combo, and a microSD card reader.
The laptop still comes with Harman Kardon tuned speakers, weighs 1.5kg and has a HD camera as well. This time though, the ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 (TM 420) starts at Rs. 59,990 and comes in only Bespoke Black colour varaint.
Reels, a short video feature on the social media app Instagram, already has huge similarities with TikTok in multiple ways, and now, it’s getting one more feature from the popular video app: duets. On Instagram, users can now “remix” a reel, a feature that is already popular on TikTok, remix would mean that they a user can upload a video next to another user’s, building on top of the original clip. This feature has often been used for dance challenges, under the “duet” function in TikTok.
You can record your reel or upload pre-recorded footage after you select “Remix this Reel” from the three-dot menu of any selected reel. You will also have control of the volume for the original audio or your recorded audio, and also be able to add a voiceover, along with other editing functions.
Only new reels that are created after the update is done will have remixes enabled automatically, but if you want to enable remix on a reel that has been made by you earlier, you can manually turn that on by tapping that three-dot menu on your own video and selecting “Enable Remixing.” If you want to turn off remixing on all your reels, you can do so via your broader profile settings.

Reels made its debut in August last year and initially, Facebook-owned Instagram seemed open to having people repurpose their TikToks on the platform. But as time has passed, Instagram has been adding more TikTok-like features while also deemphasizing any content that’s been recycled (In February, Instagram announced that its algorithm will not promote Reels with the TikTok watermark).
The company is clearly working hard towards making the short-form video content a mainstay as it added a Reels button to its home screen and ensured the feature made the cut for its global Lite app.
Apart from launching the ZenBook 13 OLED and VivoBook S14, ASUS also launched its budget range of VivoBook Ultra K14/ K15 laptops. Or, say they have refreshed the ultra-affordable AMD Ryzen 4000U powered laptops this year but with newer AMD Ryzen 5000U mobile APUs.
So, technically, you have no changes on the design front, but that hardware upgrade could be significant if you are a nerd like me. As you previously, know both the VivoBook Ultra K14/ K15 are very similar to each other except for the display sizes, which affects the price a bit, except that the hardware is similar on both.
The ASUS VivoBook Ultra K14 features a 14-inch full-HD LED-backlit display, still comes with 250 nits peak brightness and 45% NTSC coverage. Simultaneously, the VivoBook Ultra K15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full-HD LED-backlit display with similar peak brightness and colour accuracy.
You get the newer AMD APUs at the heart of the laptops, featuring up to 8 cores, 16 threaded Ryzen 7 5700U. Though both come with 8GB DDR4 RAM at 3,200MHz, the Ultra K14 features 512GB M.2 NVME PCIe X2 SSD, while the Ultra K15 gives you the option of both 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe X2 SSD and up to a 1TB SATA HDD.
Both come with a decent 42Whr battery; however, the ASUS VivoBook Ultra K14 weighs around 1.4kg, the Ultra K15 is a bit heavier as it weighs 1.8 kg. You get both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support for connectivity, whereas, for ports, you get a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A port, a USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C port, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 1.4, a combo audio jack, and a microSD card reader.
Both the new Asus VivoBook Ultra K14 and the VivoBook Ultra K15 have a starting Rs 58,990 in India. These laptops come with many colour options like Indie Black, Hearty Gold, and Transparent Silver. The laptops are promised to make their way to Asus online and offline stores soon; however, there are no words on the online availability.

It is paired with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM clocked at 3,200MHz and up to 1TB PCIe 3.0 M.2 X2 SSD. For connectivity, you have dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth v5.0 support. Coming to ports, you get one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, a combo audio jack, and an SD card reader.
The Asus VivoBook S14 is still a pretty light laptop with a weight of just 1.4kg although housing a pretty good 50Whr battery which should give you good battery life. It starts at an affordable pricing of Rs. 65,990 and will be available in multiple colours including Dreamy White, Gaia Green, Indie Black, and Resolute Red.
Finally after a small hint from Manu a couple of days back about the launch of Mi 11 Ultra as he mentioned in his tweet just after the China launch. In the tweet done by Manu, there he was actually asking if the company should bring the Mi 11 Ultra 5G smartphone in India or not as people are loving it so much. He had mentioned in his tweet that this is a #superphone and not just any smartphone.
Today Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP and MD of Xiaomi India, had revealed the launch date of the #superphone in India, which means the launch date of Mi 11 Ultra. South Korean automaker Kia Motors just laid out a lot of what there is to know about its Electric Vehicle EV6 — at least for the most expensive models. The EV6, to release in “select global markets” in the second half of this year, including North America, will be a fun and fast electric car with a refreshingly modest footprint.
The Kia EV6 is the first car of the company that is built to be electric from the ground up. The Kia Niro EV SUV? According to a report by The Verge, “that was, at a high level, a gas car that was retrofit to run on batteries.” The EV6, however, is built on E-GMP, Kia will use this to power six future EVs. It has also been used by Hyundai to power the Ioniq 5 EV.
AROUND 300 MILES AT THE HIGH END
The company made sure that the EV6 is full of attractive features and leading technologies but it still will not blow buyers away with its range. It will be available in rear-wheel and in all-wheel-drive configurations. And battery pack options will be standard range (58kWh) or long-range (77.4kWh). “Kia says the rear-wheel-drive EV6 with the long-range pack can go 510 kilometers, or roughly 316 miles, based on the European WLTP testing standard.” That means the EPA range will perhaps be under 300 miles. No range estimates for the other configurations have been provided.
Depending on the real-world results, out of a battery pack of that size, that’s fairly good efficiency. But the fact that Kia’s promoting just that one range figure, means that all other versions of the EV6 will likely get less. Even though it is still plenty for daily driving, some versions of the EV will not be well suited for long road trips.
One way compensation is being done by Kia is by the very fast charging, at least relative to the current state of EVs. Like what’s found in the Porsche Taycan, the E-GMP platform uses 800-volt battery packs, which makes it possible to charge an EV6 in just 18 minutes from 10 percent to 80 percent.
Another is performance, at least for the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants. The AWD GT version of the EV6 is the top-spec and only comes with the long-range battery version. A combined 430kW, or roughly 576 horsepower, is produced by its two motors and can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds.
TWO-WAY CHARGING, FOR ALL YOUR OUTDOOR EXCURSIONS
What could turn out to be more exciting than performance or tech specs is that the EV6 supports two-way charging just like Hyundai’s Ioniq 5. The EV6 can put out up to 3.6kW of power — enough to power an air conditioner and a 55-inch TV for more than 24 hours and it can also tow up to 1,600 kilograms (roughly 3,500 pounds) as long as the battery is more than 35 percent full.
Kia calls the EV6’s exterior styling a crossover, which isn’t wrong. From some rear angles, it bears some resemblance to the Polestar 2, however, it also has big hatchback vibes and from the side, it’s a longer, meaner Ioniq 5. “It’s certainly not bubbly or unassuming, like many of the SUVs that currently make up Kia’s lineup. Rather, it’s aggressive without being ostentatious; eye-catching, if not eye-watering.” The EV6 is a breath of fresh air in a world that’s increasingly full of big, bloated vehicles.
The EV6’s interior is more on the familiar side. “There are two 12-inch curved displays that sit inside a structure that rises up from the dashboard, one in front of the driver and one for infotainment purposes.” There’s also an AR heads-up display, which Kia promises will all be updatable over-the-air.
There is no word on the pricing of the various configurations by the South Korean company, while also conveniently leaving out specs for what will certainly be the more affordable models.

On the other hand, Lucas Vazquez is one of the stars on the Spanish side. The Spanish winger joined the club’s youth academy in 2007. He was promoted to the first team in 2015. He was part of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League’s hat-trick campaigns in 2015–16, 2016–17, and 2017–18.
However, the Spanish winger has rejected the club’s recent proposal. Whereas FC Bayern Munich gave up on versatile Alaba in November. If this swap happens then, it will be a profit for both sides.
There are also some rumours regarding Sergio Ramos, who may leave the club at the end of the season. David Alaba can be a perfect replacement in his place. And for FC Bayern Munich, it will increase the bench strength if Lucas Vazquez finally joins them.
