Pernille Harder proving her worth at Chelsea

0

Its been only six months that she moved from the Frauen Bundesliga to the FA Women’s Super League, where she was signed by Chelsea, but it did not take Pernille Harder long to steal the show in England.

The Danish international has signed a three-year deal and has proved her worth of that world record fee after having a quick impact for manager Emma Hayes’s side.

The talented Danish forward has shown that she can handle the pressure effortlessly without any signs of slowing down. In this season, She has 10 goals to her name for Chelsea in all competitions, which also includes a hat-trick in the Conti Cup semi-final against West Ham and scored twice against Arsenal on 10 February. Her skills are reflected in her game, her playing style, including her goal tally, and play an important role in Chelsea’s chance creation.

Pernille Harder’s pass rate in the penalty area and her progressive passes are in the 93rd percentile, which is according to her WSL statistics on FBref. Even her total shots, excluding penalties, is in the 99th percentile and her direct goal creating actions is in the 98th percentile, which is more impressive and extraordinary.

Her exceptional skills and qualities convinced Hayes to sign Harder for a world record of €300k back in the fall.

“One of her biggest attributes is her movement,” Hayes stated on Chelsea’s official website in September 2020.

“She knows when to create space for others. Her decision-making in the final third and the timing of her run into the box is exceptional,” She further added.

“Her finishing and nose for goal is proven on the world stage for a number of years,” She finally concluded.

Apart from Harder’s excellent technical ability, Hayes outlined her work ethic within the team, which is also an important skill for the Blues.

When Harder signed for the Blues, she expressed her excitement to share the field with Fran Kirby. And now, they have been a dynamic duo on the pitch for Chelsea, with Kirby providing assist twice to Harder in the match against Arsenal before scoring one of her own.

Harder has the Guardian’s best female footballer on the planet and the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Player of the Year to her name and exceptional qualities, and no doubt she has a brighter future ahead.

IPL 2021: VIVO to stay IPL Title sponsor for the 2021 edition, BCCI confirms

BCCI has cleared all the speculations regarding VIVO exiting from the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League as they announced that the 14th IPL edition would be called VIVO IPL 2021.

There were rumours all over regarding VIVO’s exit from IPL and that the mini IPL Auction will be conducted without a title Sponsor. But all the speculations were ended by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah through an official mail to media on the IPL Auctions Player List confirming that IPL 2021 will be called VIVO IPL 2021 and that the Indian cricket board will continue its tie-up with the Chinese mobile brand.

The IPL title sponsors for the 2020 edition was Dream11, who won the rights for Rs 222 crore, which was almost half of Rs 440 crore, what Vivo was paying annually for a five-year deal.

“Dream11 and Unacademy will place their offers to Vivo. Unacademy in any case is an associate sponsor and they are ready to offer a higher amount in order to acquire the rights from Vivo,” the source stated.

Although BCCI anticipates a more precise picture that might come out by the weekend, once Vivo gets a rock-solid final offer.

“Look, Vivo paid approximately Rs 440 crore (Rs 2190 crore for 5 years). Now if BCCI invites bids, just like last year when Dream11 paid Rs 222 crore, it might increase but can’t be doubled. But if there is a transfer of rights, the old amount could be matched or even bettered,” the source said.

The IPL mini-auction is all set to be in action on 18th February, and as far as the IPL title sponsorship is concerned, VIVO’s IPL title sponsorship right will stay intact.

PowerColor confirms the presence of Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB & RX 6700 6GB GPUs

It seems AMD is all set to launch the RX 6700 series GPUs as an answer to NVIDIA’s RTX 3060 series and even the RTX 3070. Already Gigabyte and ASRock confirmed the existence of these GPUs via their EEC filings and its time for PowerColor.

PowerColor has actually listed a lot of SKUs but that doesn’t mean all of them will actually, considering the worse availability of both AMD and NVIDIA. We see a lot of RX 6700 XT series filing with multiple custom models listed, but eventually the GPUs with highest margins are released.

PowerColor confirms the presence of Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB & RX 6700 6GB GPUs

Various types of models can be guessed from the code names with E/L/LV or WL monikers. As Videocardz says, some popular GPUs like Red Devil and Fighter series can be confirmed even before launch, and as per rumours, AMD is most likely to announce the GPUs next month itself.

When it comes to the RX 6700, only four RX 6700 non-XT models have been listed all of them with 6GB GDDR6 memory. The code ‘3DH’ is supposed to have three DisplayPorts and one HDMI output. Obviously, these new graphics cards will be based on Navi 22 GPU with a 192-bit memory bus.

The AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT GPU will come with a 192-bit bus interface and feature Navi 22 XT GPU with 2560 stream processors or 40 Compute Units. It will offer 1440p gaming while the higher-end Navi 21 products are 4K gaming cards.

Riqui Puig to Arsenal was a possibility in January; Pogba and Aouar fates linked

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano during his latest episode on the Here We Go podcast, Arsenal were trying to sign Riqui Puig from Barcelona on a similar loan deal to Odegaard with a buy option at the end of the spell.

However, the youngster ended up staying in Catalonia. Barcelona have concrete plans to extend Puig’s contract for three more years, since they have the power to do so. Club boss Ronald Koeman wanted to keep him, and hence rejected the approach made by the North London club and he is now getting a few minutes on the pitch under the Dutchman.

They tried many times to sign Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard, and he is now a part of the club. But, with all that said, Arsenal don’t have the option to buy the player and he will return to Real Madrid at the end of the season. Hence, Puig could also be a target for Arsenal next season, or in the years to come.

Lyon want £53.3m for Aouar as Arsenal are back in the race for the Midfielder

Elsewhere, Juventus officials met long-time Arsenal target Houssem Aouar’s agent. He was on the list of suitable acquisitions, but the player wants to play in the Champions League, which is something that Lyon can offer, but Arsenal cannot. Interestingly, Paul Pogba will also be key in this situation.

The clubs looking at Pogba are in the race for Aouar too. Real Madrid, Paris and Juventus are in the race for the midfielders. Leonardo was interested in both the players, while Real Madrid are interested in a new midfielder and Juventus want an important midfielder who they can rely on for the big games.

One club cannot sign both in the current situation, with finances heavily impacted, and hence, the summer transfer window will be one to watch for the two players, whose fates seem to be linked.

Realme Narzo Gaming accessories to be launched along with Narzo 30 series | Realme 65W GaN charger launched in China for 199 Yuan

Recently, a survey was carried out by the Realme community. The survey was for the voting of the best retail box for the upcoming Narzo 30 handset. The famous tipster Ishan Agarwal has now revealed that the company might be launching Narzo branded accessories in the country very soon.

These gaming accessories might include a mouse and a mousepad. With the looks of it, we feel that the Realme’s eventual plan would be to launch a gaming laptop shortly. Otherwise, launching a gaming mouse and mousepad would make little sense.

Reports suggest that Narzo 30 series might include three products. These can be Narzo 30A, Narzo 30, and Narzo 30 Pro. This guess is made as the predecessor Narzo 20 series came in similar editions. The launch date of the Narzo 30 series is yet to be revealed by Realme.

Talking about Realme Narzo 20 Pro, it came out with a model number RMX2161. Thus, the model number RMX3161 can be of Realme Narzo 30 Pro handset. A report which surfaced online also revealed that Realme Narzo 30A has a model number of RMX3171.

As per the reports, we understand that PMX3161 or the Realme Narzo 30 pro smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch display and will run on Android 11 OS. The smartphone will measure 162.4 x 74.8 x 8.8mm. It is also expected that it will house a robust 4,880mAh battery cell. The rear side of the camera will have a rectangle-shaped module consists of four camera sensors. Images that leaked earlier showed the presence of a punch-hole display in front.

Realme also announced its 1st USB-C to USB-C based 65W GaN charger in China. The price of this device will be 199 Yuan. The company claims that users will benefit from a smaller size as it is 30% smaller than the previous generation 65W charger.

Intel’s Comet Lake refresh Core i3 CPUs spotted with new packaging

0

Intel is all set to announce its upcoming Rocket Lake-S desktop processors next month, and it seems already their new CPU packaging is leaked. What seems more interesting is that Intel will not be making new Core i3 CPUs based on their unique architecture but refresh their Comet Lake SKUs.

However, the CPUs from Core i5 and above will be based on a new architecture, but according to previous rumours, we expected to use 11th Gen branding even if its a refresh. But, to our surprise, Intel seems to use the same 10th Gen branding but with an updated Intel Core CPU packaging.

Even though the packaging looks simple, basically resembling the look of the Core i3 logo with the new Intel vibe. The CPU has been pictured in a Malaysian store and seems to be part of the F-Series and will support LGA 1200 socket motherboards.

Intel looks to target more budget gamers as its Core i3 lineup is very economical and provides better value than AMD’s. The upcoming Core i3-10105 should have some minor clock speed increase over Core i3-10100 and do not expect built-in Xe-LP graphics, as it would increase costs.

It will be interesting to see how and when Intel introduces both new Rocket Lake-S CPUs and refreshed Comet Lake processors to the market and at what prices, obviously!
