How to Register For Jio GigaFiber & Everything You Need to Know About Jio Broadband

How to register for Jio GigaFiber broadband:

To register for Jio GigaFiber, go on the official Jio website’s GigaFiber page
Here, enter your address by pressing the Change After you enter your address and hit the Submit button, the screen will still show the default address.
On the next page, enter your name and phone number, and hit the Generate OTP button
Enter the OTP and select the type of locality (Society, Township, Developer, etc) and click on

You are done with Jio GigaFiber registrations and have expressed for interest in your area and can nominate other areas for the Jio broadband.

Registrations for Jio GigaFiber high speed broadband are now officially open, allowing you to show your interest in the service.

Jio GigaFiber was announced last month, and will provide speeds to 1Gbps, according to the company. For now, users can only register their interest for the Jio broadband service. The Jio broadband service had been in testing for the past two years, with users reporting download speeds of over 700Mbps.

The Jio GigaFiber is India’s first broadband service that goes across the country on a dense network of optical fibers.

Honestly speaking, smaller towns or Tier III regions like large villages where a local municipality doesn’t exist yet, may not get Reliance Jio soon even if the residents register in large numbers. Reliance Jio had previously claimed it will bring the Jio GigaFiber to 1,100 cities and towns. However, it is quite likely the company will prioritise about 80 areas that fall in Tier I and Tier II markets.

They will be able to monitor and control their GigaFiber-connected homes using a smartphone, including the temperature, lighting, gas, and water leakages. The company claims it will take just an hour to set up the smart home.

Features:

Jio GigaFiber is a broadband initiative that is looking to target residential as well as small businesses. The broadband services should start at low tariffs initially. Plans could start as low as Rs. 500.

Jio claims to provide lossless data transmission, which means higher internet speeds. The network is set to deliver speeds starting from 50Mbps all the way up to 150Mbps, which is significantly higher than current conventional Internet Service Providers (ISP).

Reports indicate Reliance Jio GigaFiber is before the mega Indian festival of Diwali. Although the company is offering everyone a chance, it will first deploy the FTTH service in areas with the highest user density.

Google is celebrating India’s 72nd Independence Day with a Doodle dedicated to “Truck Art”. A common motifs seen on cargo vehicles on the Indian roads.

Today on the 15th of August 2018, India is celebrating its 72nd Independence Day.

For all Indians Independence Day is a day to remember as the people who fought the Britishers and gave up their lives to free the country from a foreign ruler.

Google said, “Today’s Doodle-featuring images of some of India’s iconic colorful plant life and mighty animals. Inspired from the Indian truck art. A long standing tradition in this 4 million square kilometer nation where truckers who live on the road, surround themselves with cheerful folk art therefour to occupy their minds during long months away from their families.”

The doodle features a tiger, an elephant and two peacocks reflecting a typical truck art seen on the roads. Lemon & chilli combo are strung together in a thread are commonly seen at merchant establishment.

Parades are held in all state capitals and district headquarters to celebrate. Indians across the country hoists the tricolour flag to mark the day.

It is the first time that a Bengali, Payel Chowdhury will be captaining the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team in the Asian Games 2018

We all know about the Indian Kabaddi teams’ dominance in the Asian games. It’s like a fairytale. No other Asian country is at par with the Indian team. The Men’s Kabaddi was introduced in the Asian Games in the year 1990. Since then the men’s team has won gold in all 7 Asian Games. The Women’s Kabaddi was introduced much later in 2010. But from then, in 2010 and 2014, the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team won gold both times. No other team than India has won gold in Kabaddi both in the men’s and women’s sections, at the Asian Games.

This is the winning streak of the Indian Women’s Kabaddi team. Hope this winning streak continues this time too and there seems no reason why it won’t. The women’s team has been practising in Haryana for the last 3 weeks. The team’s captain, Payel Chowdhury also said that there’s no reason why they won’t win gold this time too. The whole team is confident that they will win gold for India again.

Payel Chowdhury has also made her mark in the Beach Kabadi. In 2014 she won gold with the Indian Team. But unfortunately, she couldn’t break through with the Asian Games team. This time she has not only made it to the Asian Games team but also has been appointed as the captain. She has captained India previously 3 times. But captaining India in the Asian Games is an achievement to cherish for the rest of her life.

Payel Chowdhury is a resident of Chandannagar, West Bengal. But she plays for the Railways. Though she often comes to Chandannagar and practises with her coaches. In 2017, she also won gold in the Asian Kabaddi Championship held in Iran.

Nithya Ramesh represented India in the Ice Skating competition. She won the bronze medal at the European Open championship. It was held in Belarus. But it’s sad that she didn’t get any recognition. Representing India in a world event and winning the bronze medal is not a simple thing. But sadly, our media won’t be focusing on such talents. Players like Nithya Ramesh don’t get enough recognition and motivation which they deserve. Sports other than cricket mainly and football, badminton, and tennis to some extent, don’t get any coverage in our country. It’s very harsh for those players who represent India at the international level and give their best.

Answers don’t always seem accurate: One of the major disadvantages of Alexa is that all the answers by Alexa do not seem accurate enough as that with Google Assistant. A recent study by SEO and digital marketing firm Stone Temple revealed that Amazon Alexa has a slight tendency to answer questions incorrectly or not provide a relevant answer.
Mobile experience doesn’t seem to that good: Alexa doesn’t seem to install in all of the mobile devices. So, it’s difficult to always reach through your Amazon Echo to use Alexa. You can still use the voice assistant by downloading the Amazon Alexa App, but it isn’t as seamless as simply activating Google Assistant or Siri by voice.

So, here were the top 3 voice assistants according to our choice in collaboration with reviews.com. Well, the Bixby and Cortana aren’t included in the list because:

Cortana though is accurate enough revealed by Stone Temple study. But the voice assistant isn’t quite versatile enough for a recommendation. Cortana has been limited to Windows PCs and the Harmon Kardon Invoke speaker.

Bixby is just good to use for Samsung devices like smartphones and the new Samsung smart refrigerator…
