FIFA 21: Is the 91-rated Joe Hart Flashback card worth doing?

0

Joe Hart is famously remembered for his Manchester City days. After many successful years at the Etihad Stadium, he left the club for Burnley in 2018. The England international joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2020 on a free transfer but has not featured for the club often.

EA Sports often come up with flashback cards in FIFA 21. This time they have introduced a 91-rated GK Flashback card remembering Joe Hart’s heroic days.

Requirements:

  • Number of players from Manchester City: Min 1
  • Squad Rating: Min 85
  • Team Chemistry: Min 60
  • Number of Players in the Squad: 11

SBC Expiry date: 20/3/2021
Expected price: 150k-200k FIFA coins

Read: Is the 93-rated Carles Puyol ICON SBC card worth doing?

Is the card worth doing?

An 85-rated SBC for the 91-rated Joe Hart Flashback card is definitely a very lucrative one. Comparing with the other SBCs, this comes at a very low price and is definitely a value SBC.

I would recommend you all to do this SBC and get the Joe Hart Flashback card. As for me, the card fits perfectly into the team replacing Marc Andre Ter Stegen. And I would tell you later why I’m using Hart despite Ter Stegen being one of the best in-game cards.

Even if the Hart card doesn’t fit into your team, you can put the 91-rated card into another SBC as well. So this a win-win situation. This SBC is an absolute bargain.

Now, coming to the part, why I am using Hart ahead of Ter Stegen!

As you can see in the comparison above between Hart and Ter Stegen, Hart’s statistics come out on top in 4 categories while Ter Stegen only has a slightly better Diving and Kick, which doesn’t make any differences.

The Hart card is also very good in-game, and I have played FUT Rivals matches with it, and he has been making some outstanding saves. I am eagerly waiting to play the FUT Champions matches with him to see how he performs.

So, now lets see Hart’s statistics in details.

Joe Hart is 6’5″ tall, which gives him a perfect height to save shots aimed in the top corners. I have given him a Wall chemistry to boost his Diving, Handling and Kicking. I felt it was the best choice, but you can definitely apply some other chemistry to him.

Joe Hart’s positioning is excellent, and he has a great speed considering other goalkeepers, which make it easy for him to cover counter-attacks and make double saves. His Cautious with Crosses trait is also a welcome addition.

Overall, the 91-rated Joe Hart GK card is very good and value for money. It’s definitely worth doing. Even if you don’t plan on playing him, getting a 91-rated card from an 85-rated SBC is an absolute bargain as you can put him in other SBCs and get your desired player.

Apple to launch its new products on March 23, MacBooks not included

Apple has a rather peculiar habit of announcing its new hardware every march. As we witnessed last year, the company unveiled its new iPad Pros and its MacBook Air Ice Lake refresh models.

Following the tradition, we expect the California-based tech giant to announce some new products yet again this month. According to sources, Apple is ready to unveil several products, but none are new MacBooks. Well, that isn’t very pleasant.

Source also claims that the new AirPods, iPad Pros, and AirTags are ready, as is a new Apple TV. We already know that major rumors were going around about Apple has been working on these products, and the source also indicates that these products will come out in March.

Prosser indicates that Apple will host its next hardware event on March 23. The day is the same as OnePlus’ next hardware event; now, this will be fun to watch.

We also have some claims on other news stating that the Cupertino giant will not create the next iPad Pros equally. Apple will equip the 12.9-inch model with a mini LED display, and it will be the first device from the company to feature the new technology. The 11-inch version will have an IPS panel, but the 12.9-inch edition will have a richer contrast ratio and a higher peak brightness.

But as far as MacBooks are concerned, we have to wait for a while to hear anything from them, so let’s wait and watch how the events unfold.

Championnes: Football for gender equality in Africa

FIFA and the French Development Agency (AFD) are financing the Championnes programme, which is being run by the NGO Plan International France

ZURICH, Switzerland, March 10, 2021/ — FIFA (www.FIFA.com), the French Development Agency (AFD) and the NGO Plan International France are joining forces to launch the Championnes programme in Togo, Guinea and Benin. The goal? To empower girls and promote gender equality through football.

To empower women and girls and fight against the discriminatory practices and attitudes that they face, FIFA and the AFD are financing the Championnes programme, which is being run by the NGO Plan International France.

Its objective is to promote leadership among girls and promote gender equality through football in a safe environment, namely at school.

The various projects under the Championnes programme are being developed in Benin, Togo and Guinea. The expected outcomes include capacity-building and bolstering confidence in 5,390 girls by giving them the chance to work together towards a common goal. The girls and women, aged between 12 and 24, will be given the opportunity to play football in refurbished facilities that are properly equipped, enabling both genders to share the space harmoniously. Leaders from 180 community organisations will also receive support as part of the programme.

On 23 March, Plan International France, together with Plan International Benin, Guinea and Togo, will bring together all the local stakeholders to officially launch the programme. The Guinean, Togolese and Beninese football associations will be invited to participate, enabling them to share experiences and skills and create synergies with existing activities.

“Every day, football around the world shows us that it brings people together, motivates regardless of age and promotes team spirit. FIFA wishes to use the power of football to drive social change and address some of the greatest challenges we are currently facing at global level in order to tangibly contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals,” said Véron Mosengo-Omba, FIFA Chief Member Associations Officer. “The partnership between FIFA, the AFD and Plan International will allow the three organisations to combine their know-how and respective strengths to promote the role of women in society and reduce inequalities,” he added.

The Championnes programme comes under the umbrella of FIFA’s strategy for the promotion of women’s football, which has been in place since October 2018. The potential for personal empowerment and development through football did not go unnoticed by the AFD. Both FIFA and the AFD share the conviction that sport can and should be a vector in sustainable development, social cohesion and equality in Africa.

Matthieu Discour, AFD Regional Director in the Gulf of Guinea said, “Football is an inspiring universal language that unites and unifies. It is capable of transcending borders, cultures, beliefs and physical differences. The pitch becomes a space where everyone can be free, excel, share and connect. In addition to the remarkable and unprecedented nature of this partnership, the Championnes programme is fully aligned with the ADF’s strategic focus in terms of gender equality and social cohesion.”

This ambitious project is also fully in line with Plan International France’s mission to promote the rights of the child, especially of girls, and gender equality through education. Plan International France Director Yvan Savy notes that “by playing football, girls in the Championnes programme are going to change the way their skills, ability and roles are perceived. They will become the role models, the champions of change, capable of making their own decisions and contributing to reducing harmful practices that are still preventing their communities from developing. ”

In West Africa, 30% of girls between 15 and 19 are married, divorced or widowed. More specifically, in Benin, child marriage affects 30% of girls, in Guinea 54% and in Togo 32%. The consequences are dramatic: 29% of girls in Guinea are not enrolled in school and more than 3,000 pregnancies were recorded in school settings in Togo in 2017.

Moreover, discriminatory practices against and attitudes towards women and girls continue to exist. In many communities, social norms dictate that girls should become mothers, which is considered to be incompatible with education. Child marriage, sexual violence, female genital mutilation and early childbearing, in addition to unequal access to land and financial services, constitute significant obstacles to the economic and social empowerment of women.

Against this backdrop, the Championnes programme can clearly contribute to changing mentalities.

FC Barcelona News Roundup: Joan Laporta set to bring lost glory back to the club

Joan Laporta, Barcelona’s newly elected President, is going to bring about changes that every FC Barcelona fan desires. First up, according to Catalunya Radio, Laporta is absolutely determined to come to an agreement to offload the players who are not a part of the future at the club under Ronald Koeman. He wants to do that in order to reduce the wage bill of the club that is apparently extremely unbalanced. Laporta will also have a talk with the players to take wage cuts in order to facilitate smooth transactions within the club.

One of the biggest recent issues faced by the club is the wage bill that is spiralling out of control. Laporta has inherited a mess from former President Josep Maria Bartomeu and he will have to be ruthless in order to get the club running properly again.

Youth Team Plans

According to Football Espana, Laporta visited the youth team training and told them that he wants to see them playing for the first team soon. His plans of offloading fringe players are followed by replacing them with the youth team players and bring La Masia back to its glory. A big example is Illaix Moriba, the 18-year-old who has already scored and assisted in La Liga. Moriba, along with Alex Collado, will soon get their official promotion to the first team.

Signings

According to star football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona is looking for two players this summer, a striker and a centre-back. He believes the Catalan club is looking to go “big”. One name for striker springs to mind, the goal-scoring machine that is Erling Haaland. But does Barcelona’s financial situation allow them even to pursue Haaland? Surely, Haaland isn’t looking to spend his career at Dortmund, and Barcelona will have competition from every elite club in the business for his signature.

Also, according to Romano, Laporta is a huge Dembele fan and is looking to get his signature on a contract renewal as soon as possible. Something Bartomeu had hoped to do as well.

Messi to Stay?

Laporta seems to have made good relationships with Lionel Messi, something I’m sure is the most important thing for a Barcelona fan today, anything to make their best player stay. The president was seen embracing Messi just before the team left for Paris for their RO16 second-leg tie. Also, in the good news list for Barcelona fans, according to the Argentine journalist, Sergio Gonzalez (who is supposed to have good relations with Messi’s family), has tweeted, “He (Messi) stays, Don’t buy any more stories.”

Laporta seems to be a man with a plan set in his mind to bring FC Barcelona back to their glory days. Will he succeed? Only time will tell.
