Diego Costa to join Wolves for 2022/23 after work permit appeal accepted

Wolves are preparing the next steps in order to sign Diego Costa on a free transfer. The player was expected to complete his move several days ago. A medical had been scheduled in England for the striker, but he was not allowed a work permit by the government. 

The club appealed the decision, and have had their request to overturn it accepted. Now, they are working to complete the transfer of the former Spain international in the coming days. The player will travel to England today to discuss the final details of the contract before to achieve a full agreement.

Costa has been a free agent since leaving Athletico Paranaense in Brazil back in January. He will be offered a one-year contract by the Midlands club, in order to cover the season.

Following injuries to both Raul Jimenez and new signing Sasa Kalajdzic on his debut, the club has been left short-staffed in attack. And as a result, they have identified the former Chelsea striker as a short-term solution since Kalajdzic will be out for a while given his ACL injury. 

The medical for Diego Costa is scheduled on Thursday, and after that, it will be only a matter of time before the transfer is made official by the club.

Miralem Pjanic has officially joined UAE Pro League club Sharjah FC on a two-year deal with the option for a third year. The player was tempted by the lucrative offer from the club, and has now made the move from Barcelona to the Middle East.

The Bosnian spent the last season on loan at Turkish club Besiktas, and will now take on a new challenge. His spell at Barcelona has not gone according to plan, with his move from Juventus resulting in only 30 appearances for the Spanish side.

Sharjah FC sign Miralem Pjanic on a free transfer 

“FC Barcelona and Miralem Pjanić have reached an agreement to release the player from the contract binding the player to the club until the end of the 2023/24 season.

“The club publicly expresses its gratitude to the player for his professionalism, dedication and commitment and for always adapting his contract to the club’s situations and needs. It wishes him every success and fortune in the future,” the La Liga club wrote on their official website.

As a result, the 32-year-old’s move is on a free transfer, following the termination of his contract. He was not included in Xavi’s plans for the seasons due to the options he has, and will now be able to play regular minutes in a new league.

Even though Red Dead Redemption 2 is almost 4 years old, it is still one of the most visually stunning games available. Red Dead Redemption 2 is also still very demanding when playing on PC at its highest settings.

Having said that, the game now officially supports FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0, so anyone looking to get more RDR2 performance out of their systems has a new official choice.

RDR2 already had support for the open-source FSR 2.0 thanks to a fan mod, but if you don’t want to tinker with the game’s source code, you can now just download an official patch. Additionally, RDR2 formally supports NVIDIA’s rival DLSS technology.

Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a deal with Turkish side Galatasaray to loan out Mauro Icardi for the season. The two clubs have signed the contracts for the move to go through, and it will be made official very soon. 

The French side will cover the majority of the Argentine’s wages as he spends the season out on loan. He joins the long list of departures for the club as they reshape their squad under new manager Christophe Galtier and sporting director Luis Campos. 

Paris Saint-Germain loan out Mauro Icardi for the 22/23 season 

PSG have signed Hugo Ekitike on loan as backup for their number 9 position, which is currently played by Kylian Mbappe. The former Inter Milan captain has struggled to get going at Paris, and will now be playing outside Europe’s big leagues. 

During the 21/22 season, Mauro Icardi scored five goals in 30 games across all competitions. Issues on and off the pitch have made it difficult for him to keep up the form that he once showed with Inter Milan. 

Due to the sheer quality that the team has up front, the Argentine will be unable to break into the starting line-up and would have struggled to get regular minutes. So, a loan move will enable him to get sufficient playing time, and will allow him a slight chance to make it to the World Cup squad later this year.

National, 07 September 2022: Reckitt, world’s leading consumer health and hygiene company, under its flagship campaign Dettol Banega Swasth India today launched India’s first and biggest Hygiene Olympiad – Dettol Hygiene Olympiad. Built on the fundamentals of good hygiene laying the foundation of good health, this Olympiad will reach 24 million children, motivating them to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills in the context of hygiene, making every day hygiene practices their second nature. A natural extension to the Dettol School Hygiene Curriculum, the initiative further cements Reckitt’s belief in addressing hygiene gaps that are imperative in India’s journey to better health.

India’s ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB) was knocked out from the AFC Cup 2022 after losing 3-1 against Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur City FC in the inter-zone semi-finals at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Fakrul Aiman and Romel Morales both scored in injury time to ensure Kuala Lumpur City FC become the first Malaysian side to secure a place in the Inter-Zone Final of the AFC Cup.

According to reports, QbitLeaks has obtained the Founders Edition design for the next NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series. The revised Founders Edition GPU cooler, which will be included on the top-tier Ada Lovelace GPUs like the RTX 4090 and 4080, is visible in the new design.

The leaker claims that the GTC ’22 keynote, which is scheduled to take place two weeks later, would include the new cooler design that has been depicted. Although no specifics about the card are given, the redesigned shroud and fan design do resemble the RTX 4080 cooler that surfaced in a recent leak. It appears that NVIDIA will reuse their current cooler design while giving it a minor cosmetic upgrade.

Although the fans have been modified to a 7-blade design and have grown slightly in size, the general appearance of the shroud and design is largely unchanged from the existing Founders Edition graphics cards. The Ada Lovelace GPUs will be using a lot of power, thus this revised architecture should assist give considerably better cooling. Through the new 16-pin connectors, the cards will also make use of a PCIe Gen 5.0 connector interface and a Gen 5.0 power interface.

The leaker claims that this image is a teaser for GTC, so we may see CEO Jensen discuss his next-generation gaming range there.
