Leeds United 3-0 Chelsea: Energetic Leeds make Chelsea pay for mistakes

0

Chelsea have been handed their first loss of the season, with Leeds United winning against the Blues 3-0 at Elland Road. Under Jesse Marsch this season, the team has picked up two wins and a draw and is yet to be defeated.

It was a poor display from the visitors, with Leeds showing a lot of aggressiveness and energy to force errors from them. Missed chances proved to be the deciding factor for Thomas Tuchel’s side once again – with their misfiring forwards failing to take their chances.

Leeds beat Chelsea 3-0 for the first time in 20 years

Edouard Mendy made an absolute mess of a clearance to gift Brenden Aaronson his first Premier League goal. Shortly after, Rodrigo would score from a set piece situation to double their lead.

Chelsea’s midfield pivot of Jorginho and Connor Gallagher was outrun by the opposition, who were very effective with their pressing. Gallagher’s first start for Chelsea showed small glimpses of his quality from his time at Crystal Palace, but a lot of work is yet to be done for him to be a regular in the team.

Jack Harrison scored a third goal late in the game to end all hopes of a comeback from the opposition. And in the 84th minute, Kalidou Koulibaly was sent off for a second yellow card which left Chelsea defending the final minutes with ten men.

Intel Meteor Lake CPUs will remortedly feature Ray Tracing Support

Intel may have confirmed ray tracing compatibility for their Meteor Lake CPUs with Xe-HPG TGPU in a recent commit posted on GitHub. The Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPUs, which are expected to launch in 2023, will include a number of novel technologies, such as whole new hybrid cores, integrated graphics employing tiled designs, and a VPU accelerator that we previously covered.

A thorough research released by Coelacanth-Dream indicates that the GPU found on Intel Meteor Lake CPUs has been identified as an IGC Xe-HPG device (Intel Graphics Compiler). Since it will be employing the same architecture, we can presume that it will be similar to the current DG2 or Alchemist GPUs, however that isn’t totally true.

The DPAS (Dot Product Accumulate Systolic) commands carried out through the XMX units are not supported by the Meteor Lake GPU, also known as the tGPU (Tiled-GPU), because it is supposedly not equipped with those. In a previous report, we discussed how the graphics unit in Intel’s Meteor Lake CPU will lack XMX, leading in lesser feature-level support for technologies like XeSS, but it would instead have partial FP64 support, which has been lacking in Intel iGPUs for the past few generations.

The more intriguing information is that hardware-level raytracing capability is supposedly coming to Intel Meteor Lake CPUs’ TGPU (Xe-MTL). Since the design hasn’t changed, at least in terms of ray tracing, the TGPU is said to provide an equivalent level of ray-tracing capability to Alchemist and Ponte Vecchio GPUs.

Intel Meteor Lake Mobility CPU Lineup Expected Features:

  • Triple-Hybrid CPU Architecture (P/E/LP-E Cores)
  • Brand New Redwood Cove (P-Cores)
  • Brand New Crestmont (E-Cores)
  • Up To 14 Cores (6+8) For H/P Series & Up To 12 Cores (4+8) For U Series CPUs
  • Intel 4 Process Node For CPU, TSMC For tGPU
  • Intel ‘Xe-MTL’ GPU With Up To 192/128 EUs
  • Up To LPDDR5X-7467 & DDR5-5200 Support
  • Up To 96 GB DDR5 & 64 GB LPDDR5X Capacities
  • Intel VPU For AI Inferencing With Atom Cores
  • x8 Gen 5 Lanes For Discrete GPU (Only H-Series)
  • Triple x4 M.2 Gen 4 SSD Support
  • Four Thunderbolt 4 Ports

Ray-tracing capability will not be available on Intel’s Meteor Lake CPU tiled-GPU as the first integrated graphics device. Since about a year ago, AMD has been selling Ryzen 6000 “Rembrandt” APUs with RDNA 2 iGPUs. This will be Intel’s first integrated graphics with ray tracing capabilities, although we’re hoping for partial XeSS or AI-level upsampling support. Technology like FSR 2.0 can really help produce playable FPS in gaming games, as we have seen with AMD’s APUs, and that would be absolutely wonderful for mobile gamers.

The “Intel 4” process node, along with a variety of 3rd party IPs/process nodes for the remaining tiles, will be used by the Intel 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPUs when they debut in the second half of 2023.

‘Black Myth: Wukong’ is RTX ON, Watch New Exclusive Gameplay Trailer

0

Black Myth: Wukong got a new 8-minute trailer where gamers can experience the immersive and fantastic Chinese mythology world with ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS in the upcoming action RPG from Game Science, all powered by GeForce RTX technology.

Black Myth: Wukong, is based around the well-known Monkey King mythology, and the 16th Century Journey To The West novel. Featuring excellent visuals and exciting action, the debut trailer and gameplay video racked up tens of millions of views when it debuted.

Game Science has announced that they’re taking visual fidelity one step further by upgrading to Unreal Engine 5, and adding NVIDIA DLSS for enhanced performance and image quality.

Today we get a first look at Black Myth: Wukong in 4K with RTX On!

As you watch, you’ll travel through the world of Black Myth: Wukong, getting a taste of the action-RPG’s gameplay, story, beautiful visuals, and cutscenes. Experience thecombat against bosses, be dazzled by visual effects, and discover the intriguing characters of Journey To The West

Black Myth: Wukong is one of our most anticipated games, and our game developer support organization is working diligently with Game Science throughout its development to ensure GeForce RTX users receive the definitive experience.

RTX ON!

AI technologies and ray tracing are revolutionizing the way we play and create, and at the forefront of this game-changing movement is NVIDIA RTX, the fastest and most advanced platform for bleeding-edge applications and games. Gamers with systems powered by GeForce RTX and optimized with the latest Game Ready Driverare ensured of the speediest performance, the smoothest gameplay, and the highest-fidelity ray-traced effects.

AI is one of the hottest trends in the tech world and an undeniable advantage for DLSS. NVIDIA DLSS is the only AI-powered super resolution technology, and that advantage translates to game performance boosts of up to 2X. And it’s also the only available scaling technology that taps into the power of a deep learning neural network to ensure image quality is comparable to native resolution. Scaling images without the power of AI-enabled temporal scaling techniques introduces unsightly artifacts such as motion artifacts, shimmering patterns, and muted, blurry textures.

Ray tracing is a method of graphics rendering that simulates the physical behavior of light. Thought to be decades away from reality, the specialized RT cores found in GeForce RTX GPUs made real-time ray tracing possible—and NVIDIA has continued to pioneer the technology since.

Manchester United vs Liverpool: Premier League 22/23 preview

0

Manchester United will be hosting Liverpool tonight in their highly anticipated derby. The home team have had a miserable start to the season – first losing 2-1 to Brighton and then being hammered 4-0 by Brentford.

Liverpool themselves have not had the best start – drawing with Fulham and Crystal Palace in their first two games. As a result, they will be hoping to pick up their first win of the campaign against their bitter rivals when they go to Old Trafford.

Manchester United vs Liverpool preview

Liverpool will be without their new signing Darwin Nunez for the game, after the Uruguayan was sent off in their previous game. Manchester United, on the other hand, won’t be able to feature Casemiro since he has not been registered yet.

Club legend Wayne Rooney has called for his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo to be dropped from the line-up against Liverpool.

“I wouldn’t play Cristiano Ronaldo, and I wouldn’t play Marcus Rashford. If I was in Ten Hag’s position my main concern would be getting energy on the pitch, and United’s failure to recruit a No 9 means they relied on Ronaldo against Brentford, even though he hadn’t trained a lot with the team. He looked like he needs time to get match fit,” he wrote on his column in the Times.

“He has also let it be known that he wants to leave the club. I don’t know his reasons but, as I wrote in my last column, I’d let him – he’s a great player and will always score goals but the task for Ten Hag is to produce a team that can compete for the title in three or four years’ time. That means rebuilding with younger players.”

Liverpool seem favourites to win at Old Trafford once again, but it remains to be seen whether Erik Ten Hag can get his side to respond to their previous defeats in the big game.

Newcastle United 3-3 Manchester City: Champions dig deep to finish level

0

Manchester City were able to come back from 3-1 down to salvage a point against Newcastle United at St James’s Park. The reigning champions looked set for defeat, but showed us why they are the reigning champions with two quick goals completely changing the game.

Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring, tapping in a perfect cross from Bernardo Silva on the right flank. Their lead would not last long, with Miguel Almiron scoring the equaliser from close range. The goal saw handball appeals from many City players, but VAR allowed it to stand.

Newcastle hold champions Manchester City to a draw

Callum Wilson produced a brilliant finish shortly before half time to give his side the lead. And in the process, made it two assists from Allan Saint-Maximin. The Frenchman’s energy was on display throughout the game, and City struggled to deal with him for the majority of the game.

Kieran Trippier scored a perfect free-kick in the 54th minute to make it 3-1, at which point, it looked like they were set for victory. But, only ten minutes later, goals from Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva saw Manchester City back on level terms.

Trippier was shown a red card in the 74th minute for a lunging tackle on Kevin De Bruyne. But, VAR overturned the decision and he was allowed to stay on with a yellow. City were unable to break the low block of the Magpies for a fourth time to earn all three points, and eventually had to settle for a draw.

Intel Arc A380 Entry-Level GPU is powerful enough to run the new Crysis Game at 1080p

An entry-level graphics card with the complete ACM-G11 GPU and Alchemist Xe-HPG architecture is the Intel Arc A380. It contains the entire GPU setup, which employs 8 Xe-Cores or 1024 ALUs. Additionally, the graphics card has 6 GB of GDDR6 RAM operating at a TBP of roughly 92W. The card’s maximum frequency rating of 2450 MHz demonstrates that Intel is making the most of TSMC’s 6nm manufacturing node. The card has a 15.5 Gbps VRAM clock for 186 GB/s of bandwidth across a 96-bit bus interface.

The GUNNIR Intel Arc A380 Photon OC graphics card was used in the testing carried out by the tech publication. There are currently just two bespoke designs on the market, and this is one of them. The card runs at a faster clock speed of 2450 MHz and has a slightly higher TBP of 92W (compared to the reference’s 75W) (vs 2250 Mhz).

The original Crysis version, not the remastered version, was used to evaluate the Intel Arc A380 graphics card.

The earlier game’s resolution was set to 1080p and it makes use of the DX10 API (FHD). “Very High” quality settings with 4x MSAA were used. Even though it’s more than ten years old, the original Crysis still a challenging game. The original Crysis is outclassed by the remastered version’s even more GPU-taxing quality options, like Ray tracing capabilities and higher-res textures.

It was demonstrated how the Intel Arc A380 graphics card handled a brief portion of the game. This is from the “Paradise Lost” level, which is the first one you reach after leaving the Ceph mothership. Some of my favourite portions of the game include the “Core” segment and the latter stages, which include the recognisable “Ascension” VTOL passages. Returning to the game’s performance, it ran at a very smooth 60–70 FPS and even reached an 80+ FPS level.

Given that Arc GPUs are only well-optimized for DX12 and Vulkan titles, with a few DX11 titles making the exception, there was no frame stuttering, which is a good demonstration. According to PCGH, they had no issues running the game in DX10 API, and they want to shortly compare the performance to an AMD Radeon RX 6400 graphics card.

Jules Kounde misses out on 2nd game after not being registered with La Liga

0

Jules Kounde is yet to be registered as a new Barcelona player with La Liga. The Frenchman made a move to the Catalonian club weeks ago. But, their financial troubles have prevented them from registering the centre-back with the league so that he can play.

He missed out on the 4-1 win against Real Sociedad last night, and could be unavailable for the next game against Valladolid too. Barcelona will have to find a way to trim their wage bill in the coming days by letting go of some players in order to register him.

Jules Kounde is yet to be registered by Barcelona

“It bothers us all but Mateu and Jordi are doing an extraordinary job”, said first team manager Xavi.

“It bothers me because we signed him to play and he understands that.

“Let’s wait for the next week, let’s see if there is luck in this.”

Memphis Depay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are expected to leave the club soon. The two forwards leaving would free up enough space on the wage bill for Jules Kounde to be registered in time. Barcelona have until August 31 to register the player with La Liga.

If that doesn’t happen, he will be able to walk out as a free agent even though he is yet to play a game with his new club.

Call of Duty: Warzone to finally get its 5th and final season soon

0

The start of Call of Duty: Warzone’s fifth and final season has been confirmed by Activision for August 24. This suggests that Warzone 2 may soon be available. The final season of the game, dubbed Last Stand and featuring a league of Call of Duty baddies headed by Raul Menendez from Black Ops 2, was announced on the game’s website.

Khaled Al-Asad from the first Modern Warfare, Gabriel T. Rorke from Ghosts, and He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen from Black Ops 3 also make an appearance.

This final season of Warzone will probably expire in November because Call of Duty seasons, which take place concurrently in Vanguard and Warzone, normally run for two to three months.

The final season of Black Ops: Cold War continued for around a month after Vanguard’s release, and because Modern Warfare 2 debuts on October 28, this also lines up with Warzone’s November conclusion date, and thus, presumably, a Warzone 2 release date.

Naturally, nothing has been verified, but earlier this week there were rumours that the film might be released in November. However, because the Call of Duty: Next showcase on September 15 is scheduled to release new Warzone 2 material among other titles in “the immediate future of Call of Duty,” an official confirmation shouldn’t be too far off.

Since the Battle Royale sequel was unveiled in February, Activision has said very little about it, only stating in April that Warzone 2 “includes new advances” and would be fully revealed this year.
