For me, the design is ok, looks like a mid-range design but is certainly better the OnePlus 10R in terms of look I would say.

However, OnePlus does need to address those performance issues and tweak its camera further with updates, but overall, this is a good phone to use everyday.

OnePlus 10R review: Good performer but lacks the iconic OnePlus premiumness

Why Should You Buy?

This is how it is, in 2022, no Alert Slider, plastic body, mediocre cameras but with blazing-fast performance, however, the consistency along with the practicality of the OnePlus 10R is totally missing. Oppo just introduced its newest mid-range smartphone, the Oppo A78 5G, in Malaysia. The company has now announced that it is available in India. On January 16, 2023, India will officially launch the Oppo A78 5G smartphone. The device’s design, available colours, and launch date have been teased by Amazon on its portal.

The 6.54-inch LCD display on the Oppo A78 5G boasts an HD+ screen resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 269ppi, and a 600nits maximum brightness. A layer of Panda glass protection shields the display. On the screen where the selfie camera is located, there is also a waterdrop notch.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, an efficient 7nm manufacturing technique, which has eight cores, powers the Oppo A78 5G. Up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage are compatible with the chipset.

A 50MP primary sensor and a second monochrome camera are both included in the A78 5G’s dual rear camera configuration. The 8MP front sensor is responsible for taking selfies and for video calls.

It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, an IPX4 splash rating, 5G, 4G VoLTE, dual SIM, and a USB Type-C port, among other notable features.

Pablo Sarabia to join Wolves permanently 

The Spaniard missed out on the 2022 World Cup squad, and has not made the starting eleven for most of the season for PSG. He featured in the Euros for Spain, however, and was quite influential for the national team. 

His contract with PSG is set to expire in 2024, which means he could spend the rest of the season with them. But, he has decided to move on in search of a better opportunity. And soon, the deal for him will be completed by the Midlands club. 

Wolves have spent quite a bit of money during the January transfer window to avoid relegation. They have made Matheus Cunha’s loan deal permanent for €50 million, have signed Mario Lemina and are now set to finalise the transfers for Pablo Sarabia and Joao Gomes.

Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) has slashed prices on its electric vehicles by up to 20% globally, extending an aggressive discounting campaign and challenging rivals after falling short of Wall Street delivery estimates for 2022.

The move represents a departure from the automaker’s strategy over the previous two years, when new vehicle orders outnumbered supply. It comes after CEO Elon Musk warned that the threat of a recession and higher interest rates meant the company would have to lower prices to maintain growth at the expense of profit.

Musk admitted last year that prices had become “embarrassingly high,” threatening demand. On Friday, shares were down 2.6% after the stock had its worst year since its inception due to delivery issues and increased competition.

Following a series of price cuts in Asia last week, Tesla lowered prices across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, in what analysts saw as a clear shot at both smaller rivals bleeding cash and legacy automakers aggressively ramping up electric vehicle production.

The discounts could make electric vehicles more affordable to people who were previously priced out of the market. Buyers in the United States and France may be able to take advantage of both the discounts and federal tax credits available in both countries for certain electric vehicle purchases.

According to reports, Tesla’s global top-sellers, the Model 3 sedan and Model Y crossover SUV, have received price cuts ranging from 6% to 20% in the United States, with the basic Model Y now costing $52,990, down from $65,990.

These reductions are in addition to a $7,500 U.S. federal tax credit that went into effect for many electric vehicles on January 1 and could result in discounts of more than 30%. Tesla also reduced prices in the United States for its Model X luxury crossover SUV and Model S sedan.

A Tesla Germany spokesperson stated that lower cost inflation was also a factor in price reductions in the company’s top European market, but did not specify which costs had fallen. Tesla reduced Model 3 and Model Y prices in Germany by 1% to nearly 17%. The most popular Model Y will now cost 44,890 euros ($48,499), a reduction of 9,100 euros.

Customers in France who purchase the Model 3 for 44,990 euros will now receive a 5,000 euro government subsidy on an EV scheme with a threshold of 47,000 euros.After tax credits, a Model Y could cost $18,000 less than Ford’s rival Mustang Mach E, according to Deutsche Bank. It estimated that Tesla’s vehicle gross profit margins, which are among the highest in the industry, would fall 3 percentage points in 2023 versus 2022, but Tesla’s “bold offensive move” secured growth and put competitors in great difficulty, according to the broker.

Personal terms are not expected to be an issue for the transfer, as they have already been agreed. Moreover, Mykhaylo Mudryk has been very active on social media about his interest in moving to the Emirates Stadium.  

Chelsea were one of the clubs interested in signing Mudryk in case the deal with Arsenal fell through. But, they haven’t placed any formal bid to sign him as of yet.

The owners of Manchester United, the Glazers family are interested to buy a team in the WIPL league. They even tried to buy a team in the Indian premiere league but failed. They are the owners of the Desert Vipers franchise in the ILT20 and desire to expand their business. They want to penetrate the Indian market by buying a team in WIPL.

Phil Oliver who’s the CEO of the ILT20 franchise said that he would love to take part in the auction for the WIPL franchise that is going to be held this January 25. IPL teams like Chennai Super Kings have bought the bid documents for the WIPL teams and the deadline to purchase ITT for WIPL is January 21.

“Just to draw the initial distinction, it was not Manchester United that was looking at an IPL team. The distinction is important.“- Oliver added

He’s interested in buying an IPL team but he didn’t reveal the information but expressed his interest to bring good cricket to the Indian audience. In 2022, BCCi in India issued ITT for the two new IPL teams namely Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. The Glazer family failed to win the bid to acquire a team.

Unlike IPL, the WIPL teams will be divided into zones. Popular teams like Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, and Rajasthan Royals showed interest to buy franchises.

While most of you have just upgraded to Wi-Fi 6, and some may be contemplating a move to Wi-Fi 6E, their successor is already on the horizon. Wi-Fi 7 is the next significant advancement, and it, like its predecessors, promises faster connections, lower latency, and the ability to manage more connections gracefully than ever before.

If you want to improve your Wi-Fi now, Wi-Fi 7 is not the solution because support will be limited for some time. However, early adopters will be pleased to learn that the first batch of Wi-Fi 7 routers will be available in early 2023. Realistically, most of us will have to wait a long time before considering switching.

The 7th generation of Wi-Fi promises significant improvements over Wi-Fi 6 and 6E, with speeds up to four times faster. It also includes ingenious advancements to reduce latency, increase capacity, and improve stability and efficiency.

In the old naming convention, Wi-Fi 7 was IEEE 802.11be, Wi-Fi 6 was IEEE 802.11ax, and Wi-Fi 5 was IEEE 802.11ac. Wi-Fi 7 will, like previous standards, be backward compatible. As a result, the upgrade to 1024-QAM in Wi-Fi 6 provided approximately a 25% data rate increase over Wi-Fi 5. The upgrade to 4K-QAM in Wi-Fi 7 results in a 20% increase in peak performance.

Multi-Link Operation is possibly the most exciting advancement in Wi-Fi 7. (MLO). Every previous Wi-Fi standard connected two devices on a single frequency band. A tri-band Wi-Fi 6E router, for example, connects two devices on a single band on a fixed channel (the router decides whether to connect on the 2.4-GHz, 5-GHz, or 6-GHz band).

MLO can combine multiple frequencies from different bands into a single connection. A Wi-Fi 7 router can connect to a Wi-Fi 7 device simultaneously across two or more channels in different bands. MLO may enable wider channels capable of transmitting more data—to return to our highway analogy, you can send traffic on both the highway and the superhighway at the same time.

Wout Weghorst signs for Manchester United on loan until the end of 22/23

Manchester United have completed the signing of Wout Weghorst on a loan deal from Burnley until the end of the season. 

The striker was expected to spend the entire season on loan at Besiktas, and the Turkish side have received €3 million as compensation for letting him go early. There is no option to make the move permanent included in the deal struck between the two English clubs. It is a straight loan, and the forward is expected to return to the Clarets at the end of his loan spell.

Weghorst has been impressive in the Bundesliga in the past, and now has another chance to make it in the Premier League with one of the top clubs in the world. The Manchester derby might be too soon for him, but he is expected to feature in the coming games.
