Lastly, the team has also announced  ‘The Great Rummy Challenge’ which will be integrated with Puneri Paltan. A Daily Login Challenge program, this is a 5-day login challenge, where users are rewarded every time they complete certain challenges on the Gamezy app.

Luis Suarez has confirmed that he will be leaving his boyhood club, Nacional. The striker scored twice in the game against Liverpool, a team based in Montevideo that shares its name with his former club. 

The 4-1 win over Liverpool helped Nacional win the Uruguayan league title, and marks the end of another spell with the club for the 35-year-old.

“I am satisfied to have taken the right step, to have enjoyed this moment, and I am happy to end it like this. [I feel] happiness and pride of having made the right decision. It always generates doubts to have taken the right step but to celebrate with our people and family is priceless,” Luis Suarez said after the game. 

“I am very grateful because I came for them [the fans], I enjoyed it with them, I have no more words of gratitude but to show it on the field. Today was a perfect night, perfect… people enjoyed it, not only Nacional fans but the fans of Uruguayan football enjoyed having a player who comes from Europe with the mentality that he is still active. Thanks for the love since I arrived until I am leaving today.” 

The former Barcelona, Liverpool and Ajax striker scored eight goals in 16 appearances for Nacional. And now, he finds himself without a club amidst links to the MLS.

Lava launched the Lava Blaze 5G during the event known as the India Mobile Congress 2022 last month. It was claimed that the smartphone debuted in the country around Diwali. But despite the festival of light has ended, the item is still unavailable. Amazon would formally introduce the phone in India, the company has now revealed.

On November 3, which is just a few days away, the Lava Blaze 5G will be introduced in India. The smartphone will, as we already know, support 5G and be priced at the affordable level, roughly at the Rs 10,000 threshold.

The Lava Blaze 5G has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. A fingerprint scanner is positioned on the side of the power button. On the back panel, a rectangular camera module with a 50MP main sensor, a depth lens, and a macro unit is housed. The smartphone sports a front-facing 8MP selfie camera.

The Dimensity 700 processor, which supports eight 5G bands, is a feature of the Lava Blaze 5G. Along with these characteristics, it includes a 128GB internal storage capacity and a dedicated microSD card slot. It also has 4GB of RAM and 3GB of virtual RAM.

The smartphone is featured with the Android 12 operating system. Along with it, this Lava Blaze 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.

The foldable Huawei Mate Xs 2 from Huawei will soon support satellite messaging. On November 5, the company will provide more information regarding the Mate Xs 2’s Beidou satellite functionality during a special developer conference being held in China.

It’s noteworthy that this would be the first foldable phone to support satellite short message communication.

By enabling users to share their location with friends or local authorities when there is no network service, the capability will be used in emergency scenarios. And it will only function in China, similar to the Huawei Mate Xs 2 50 series. You won’t be able to receive messages; you can only send outbound communications.

However, Huawei is aiming to deliver two-way satellite communication via SMS and voice conversations in the future.

I-League 2022-23 season starts 12th November 2022; Home-Away format returns

The 2022-23 I-League season will kick off on November 12 at Malappuram, Kerala, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) said on Tuesday. In the opening match, defending champions Gokulam Kerala FC will face last season’s runners-up Mohammedan Sporting.

I-League 2022-23 fixtures released eleven days ahead of first match

With the COVID restrictions lifted, all the 12 clubs are set to play in as many as 13 venues across the country. The last two seasons saw the league being played from within the confines of the bio bubble, as all the matches were played in Kolkata, Kalyani and Naihati in West Bengal. 

The return to the traditional format means each team will play the other twice, once at home and once away. There will be no bio-bubbles and teams will be free to move around. After all the league matches are over, the table topper will be declared the winner while the bottom two teams will be relegated to the 2nd tier of the I-League.

“There’s a lot of excitement around this season’s I-League, with the league set to be held in the home and away format once again. We have taken great care to ensure that around 80 per cent of the matches will be played under floodlights, and that goes to show how much development most of these venues have gone through,” said AIFF Secretary General Dr. Shaji Prabhakaran.

Gokulam Kerala will play six of their home matches at the Payannad Stadium while the other five will be played at the EMS Stadium in Kozhikode, where they have already been playing in previous campaigns. The Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar, will also make its I-League debut, with Real Kashmir FC shifting to the venue from February onwards. The Deccan Arena in Hyderabad and the Chhatrasal Stadium in New Delhi will be the other two debuting venues in the league this season for Sreenidi Deccan FC and Sudeva Delhi FC, respectively. Over in Delhi, the historic Ambedkar Stadium will play host to Rajasthan United FC.

Amongst the other clubs, Mohammedan Sporting will operate from the Kishore Bharati Krirangan, Kolkata, Churchill Brothers FC Goa from the Bambolim Stadium, Goa, Aizawl FC from the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Aizawl, RoundGlass Punjab from the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, in Panchkhula, while Imphal clubs NEROCA FC and TRAU FC will operate out of the Khuman Lampak Stadium.

Gokulam Kerala FC will enter the season as two-time reigning champions and are chasing a historic hattrick. No team in Indian football history has won the I-League thrice in-a-row. Kolkata giants East Bengal are the only other club to win back-to-back domestic titles, then known as the National Football League (NFL), in 2002-03 and 2003-04.

Apple is yet to finalise the display size of its upcoming fourth generation iPhone SE 4, according to analyst Ross Young. The tech giant is considering a number of options regarding the display’s size and material, reports MacRumors.

The iPhone maker is mulling 5.7 to 6.1-inch LCDs, as well as, 6.1-inch OLED displays from two suppliers. It is still unclear if the company will choose a 5.7-inch or 6.1-inch display, and whether that display would employ OLED technology or LCD technology.

Apple undecided on iPhone SE 4 display ahead of 2024 launch

Apple is still umming and ahhing over the display it’s going to use in its next affordable smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, which will launch in 2024. Adopting the former for the iPhone SE 4 would be a major display upgrade for a series that has thus far used sub-5-inch LCD panels. It would also run counter to the general consensus that has built up around the iPhone SE 4, suggesting that it’ll see the iPhone XR used as its base.

The iPhone XR employed a 6.1-inch LCD when it was launched back in 2018. Switching up to a 6.1-inch OLED would essentially see Apple’s affordable phone range matching the mainstream iPhone 14, at least in terms of screen technology.

Keeping the screen closer to the 5.7-inch mark is more likely to appease old school iPhone users who prefer a compact screen, too. Assuming those iPhone XR rumours are correct, the iPhone SE 4 will be the first in the series to ditch the Home button in favour of a Face ID notch.

To produce the less expensive iPhone SE model, Apple liked to modify the hardware from previous models slightly. The original model from 2016 modified the hardware from the iPhone 5S from 2013. Another possibility is that the company will embed Touch ID in the Power button, similar to the iPad Air and iPad mini 6. However, it is too early to draw final conclusions since the iPhone SE 4 is slated to release in 2024.

  • Over 4 in 5 Indian adults surveyed (85%) admit to risking their personal information or privacy in several ways during the festive season

Norton, a global leader in consumer Cyber Safety, today published Indian findings from a global study conducted online in August 2022 among 1,001 Indian adults aged 18+ by The Harris Poll on behalf of NortonLifeLock that explored attitudes towards Cyber Safety and online shopping during the festive season. The report highlights the importance of taking precautions with your personal information online. The findings reveal that all (100%) of those planning to shop during the 2022 festive season expect to do so online, with 61% saying that they expect to do more than half of their festive season shopping online.

The festive season is often a time when many people buy gifts for their family and friends. This holiday season, Indian adults surveyed expect tech-based gifts including smartphones (64%), smart watches (55%), and smart home devices (47%) to be the most sought out gifts. Though only a small minority of adults in India surveyed(8%) plan to buy fewer technology gifts this festive season compared to years past, over 4 in 5 of those planning to buy less tech gifts (84%) say this is due to concerns of rising costs of living and inflation. To help with inflation/the rising cost of living, most Indians surveyed (91%) are likely to take cost cutting measures of some kind this festive season,  which for some includes clicking on a questionable link offering them a good deal on technology products (36%) or a reduced energy bill (29%).

 “Festivals bring friends and family together. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of online shoppers, and with that the rise in online shopping scams, gift card frauds, postal delivery frauds. Our Norton report also suggests that many Indian adults surveyed  who have fallen victim and been defrauded while online shopping have been impacted financially and have lost money as a result, their average loss of those surveyed being INR 6216. While some consumers are not strangers to threats and are taking preventative measures to protect themselves online, there is always room for improvement.,” said Ritesh Chopra, Norton Director India and SAARC Countries at NortonLifeLock. He adds, “We at Norton are dedicated to protecting people’s data and devices and understanding their concern when online shopping.” 

Two-thirds of Indian adults surveyed are at least concerned about the following when shopping online during the holiday season:

• Their personal details being compromised (78%)

• Being defrauded by a third-party retailer (77%)

• Unintentionally receiving a counterfeit version of a gift (76%)

• A device they buy for someone else being digitally unsafe (75%)

• Their holiday travel arrangements or accommodations being ruined by a scammer (73%)

• Buying or receiving a refurbished device as a gift (72%)

• A device they receive as a gift being hacked (69%)

Spending time online offers an escape for many Indian adults during the festive season. Most Indian adults surveyed (78%) agree that spending time online via their connected devices helps them feel more connected during the festive season, and 74% say that it helps their mental well-being. In fact, 2 in 3 Indian adults (65%) say their mental well-being would suffer if they could not access their connected devices during the festive season. The study also shows that 95% of Indians plan to take at least one action to manage their mental health this festive season, most typically by spending time outdoors (54%), reading books (50%), and/or reconnecting with friends / family using social media (50%).

While clubs make it a point to avoid overusing their players during this time, injuries are scarcely something that can be controlled by humans. Any injury is regrettable, but it’s even more regrettable when it causes a player to miss a major competition like the World Cup.

Here is the list of footballers that are expected to miss the 2022 Qatar World Cup due to injuries is listed below:

Reece James

The England fullback footballer suffered an injury during his team Chelsea’s Uefa Champions League match against AC Milan, making him a serious doubt for the competition.

The quick full-back is a crucial component of Gareth Southgate’s team, so it would be a setback for the Three Lions if he were to miss the World Cup flight. James cannot be completely ruled out for now, but his odds of making it to Qatar are slim.

Kalvin Phillips

An English footballer who will almost certainly miss the World Cup flight The Manchester City midfielder missed the significant occasion last month due to a damaged shoulder.

Paul Pogba

Pogba’s ineligibility for the French team is undoubtedly a setback for the defending champions. Pogba, who scored in the World Cup final of 2018, hasn’t played since joining Juventus again this summer after knee surgery.

N’Golo Kante

Kante, a defensive midfielder for Les Blues, will unquestionably miss the World Cup, dealing another severe blow to the team. The Chelsea footballer’s absence could go up to two months due to the recurrence of a hamstring injury. The French team as a whole will undoubtedly feel discouraged without Pogba and Kante.

Diogo Jota

Jota has been declared ineligible for the World Cup. The serious injury, according to Roma manager Jose Mourinho, would make it challenging for Dybala to make a comeback before 2023. The 28-year-old footballer is in a race against time to be ready for Qatar after reports that he tore his quadriceps muscle quickly surfaced.

Another star footballer who is hindered by a thigh ailment is Argentine winger Angel Di Maria. The Juventus player suffered a setback during a defeat to Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League, but he is anticipated to return in early November and may even make it to the World Cup.

Kyle Walker

While the topic is expanding the action film catalogue, Netflix has collaborated with John Wick director Chad Stahelski for making a live-action adaptation of Marc Olden’s Black Samurai books. You know while John Wick’s talent and Samurai sound team up we got an indication of the blast. 

Netflix’s Black samurai will be directed by Chad Stahelski who has helmed the acclaimed John Wick film featuring Keanu Reeves Currently, Stahelski directed Netflix’s Day Shift film that’s featuring Jamie Foxx. 

The script has been penned by Leigh Dana Jackson whose credits contain Netflix’s Raising Dion and Foundation. 

Samurai

In 2017 Starz was making a Black Samurai TV series with those commonly tapped to make and start in it. The project never visits anywhere, and after a time, it was passed on to Netflix. Stahelski is set to produce with Jason Spitz and Alex Young for 87Eleven Entertainment and John Schoenfelder and Russell Ackerman for those Addictive Pictures. 

Diane Crawford is set to exec produce along with Liza Fleissig and Andre gains of Cinemation about Netflix’s Black Samurai. 

Black Samurai: Plot 

According to Netflix, Black Samurai is a live-action adaptation of Marc Olden’s show of novels of the same name. The first movie seems to be adapted from the first book but there are eight in total. 

On leaving Tokyo, American GY Robert Sand is shot trying to protect an old man from a quarter of drunk American soldiers. As Sand passes out, the old man springs on his tormenters, beating them to be senseless with frail, wrinkled fists. He is Master Konuma, the keeper of those ancient secrets of the samurai. Now Sand is based on becoming his latest pupil. For seven years, the American learns martial arts, swordplay, and stealth, become not just the first black man to ever take the oath of the samurai, but the strongest fighter Konnuma has ever trained. 

On one night, two dozen terrorists ambush the dojo, slaughtering Konuma and his students as the first step in a terrifying assault on world peace. Though he is unable to Dave his sensei, Sand escapes with his life and a gnawing hunger for vengeance. All have his sword, but he needs more of it. 

Black Samurai: Cast 

According to October 2022, no cast members have been declared for Netflix’s Black Samurai. As the project is in early development, we should hear some news in the upcoming months.

Netflix’s Black Samurai is recently in its early development stage, where the team behind the project has penned the script as we speak with pre-production following after.
