The Swimmers: The Two Sisters Swim continuously for more than Three Hours 

Netflix has dropped a new trailer for ‘The Swimmers. The director of the film is Egyptian-Welsh director Saly. El Hosaini’s movie the Swimmers. The tale revolves around two teenage sisters who have fled Damascus at the time of the Syrian civil war with the hopes o compete at the 2016 Rio Olympics.  

The Swimmers started at the Toronto International Film Festival this year. The film features Lebanese actresses with her real-life sisters, Nathalie and Manal Issa like Yusra and Sarah Mardini 

The Mardini sisters have made those international headlines while the overcrowded dinghy they boarded from Turkey broke down on the way to Greece. The challenging facts are they and the two others had to sim over three hours in open water for keeping it from capsizing.

Apart from Toronto, The Swimmers also revealed the Zurich Film Festival in September with El Hosaini  said, “Never has there been such an important time for Europeans to see a film that elevates the visibility of refugees and honors those who risk their lives to have  a better, safer life.” 

The tale of The Swimmers was co-written by El Husaini and British screenwriter jack Throne. We will also see Syrian actress Kinda Alloush, German actor Matthias Schweighofer with British actor James Floyd set to enjoy the Mena region premiere on the opening night of the 44th Cairo International Film Festival that runs from 13th November to 22nd November. 

In a statement dropped by the festival, El Hosaini told, “It’s an honor to have our Middle East premiere at Cairo International Film Festival.” also added, “I’m thrilled to be returning to Cairo, the city of my childhood, to share the inspirational, true-life story of the Mardini sisters”. Before all the things Toronto screenings, El Hosaini has been honored with the festival’s Emerging Talent Award told, “ a real labor of love.” 

She said, “So much love poured into it. Sleepless nights, sweat, and tears and it’s such an honor to share it with you.” 

 Also added, “And it really shows what this city and festival stands for, in giving a film like this such an incredible platform.” 

The Swimmers: Release Date 

Netflix has confirmed that the film will be available on 23rd November 2022.

Elon Musk again sells 19.5 million Tesla shares worth about $4 billion

Again? But Why? Yes, the world’s richest man has now sold some of his princely assets to raise money, which is believed to have been to pay off debts of his newly bought social media platform Twitter. As reported by TechCrunch, recently Elon Musk has sold millions of Tesla shares which retail for $191.30 currently.

According to three filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, he sold around 19.5 million shares Tuesday, which is worth about $3.95 billion. This time though Elon, who is very open on his own social media platform literally, has not disclosed anything about this deal though.

Most media outlets believe that this is mostly a cause to reform Twitter which he recently bought for a whopping $44 billion. Previously, Elon Musk had sold 9.5 million shares in April this year which at that time was worth $885.42 and since then Tesla issued something called a three-in-one stock split, bringing the cost of each share down.

Mexico’s Jesus Corona ruled out of 2022 World Cup

Mexico have confirmed that winger Jesus Corona will not be able to compete at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The player moved to Sevilla from Portuguese side Porto this summer, and sustained an ankle injury in August during a training session. 

However, he hasn’t been able to recover in time, and will miss out on the trip to the Middle East. “Mexican national-team staff will continue to monitor his progress, and we hope that Jesús enjoys a swift, successful return to action,” an FMF statement said. 

Jesus Corona to miss the 2022 World Cup with ankle injury 

The 29-year-old will be missing out on the trip alongside five other players from the 31-player preliminary squad. The final travelling squad announcement is expected on Monday, November 14. 

The news had been expected for a while, and it has now been confirmed in an official statement by Mexico as well. It now remains to be seen how quickly Jesus Corona can return to action following the World Cup. 

He joins the likes of Sadio Mane, Reece James, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell to miss out on the tournament due to an injury sustained in recent days. The World Cup will begin on November 20, with the hosts Qatar in action against Ecuador.

The voiceover says, “Just like a lamp flutters before extinguishing, an engineer bubbles up in the third year.” we are facing new girls having the campus with the latest romantic angle. 

The story of the film is followed by Jatin aka Jhantoo as the leading group of students in a protest against the college ahead of the crowd getting dispersed by an angry guard. This season we are going to see guest appearances in this season. The main thing that attracts people is Raju Srivastava who appeared as a tea shop vendor or paanwallah across the campus. The comedy king who sacrificed his life to bring a smile to people’s faces makes fans very emotional. One wrote,” Late Raju ji ko dekh ke acha  lga,” 

This season is the first without Adarsh Gaurav playing the lead Ankit for the first two seasons. This is something like many fans express their feelings in their comments.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is just two weeks away and the hype surrounding it is just insane! EA Sports also aren’t behind in celebrating the festival of football. Today, they rolled out Title Update #3 which included the World Cup DLC, which is now live in the game.

The content surrounding the World Cup in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode will be available from Friday 11th November. There are many contents planned for FUT, with the release of World Cup Path To Glory players, FUT 23 World Cup Heroes, etc.

FIFA 23 Title Update #3: World Cup DLC is now live

The latest Title Update is now available for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23, and it includes the changes below.

Made the following changes:

  • Added the FIFA World Cup 2022™ experience.
    • To learn more about the FIFA World Cup 2022™ experience, check out our Pitch Notes.
  • Removed the previously existing Brazil team from Kick Off, Tournaments, Online Friendlies, and Online Seasons.
    • The Brazil national team, featuring players competing in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022™, can be used in the FIFA World Cup 2022™ experience.
  • Updated some commentary lines and celebrations.

Addressed the following issues:

India is going to face England in the second semifinal on November 10 at 1:30 PM IST. The winner will be the second finalist for this year’s T20 World Cup. It will be interesting to see if India qualifies for the finale as the fans from both teams clash once again in the tournament.

After a two-year-long wait, the 14th edition of IGDC – The India Game Developer Conference saw a total of 4000+ attendees including game developers, publishers, investors, and gaming enthusiasts. The conference was held between the 3rd to 5th of November 2022 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre. 

The India Game Developer Conference is a one-of-its-kind “by the industry, for the industry” initiative fully focused on supporting and empowering game developers with insights, upskilling and networking opportunities with investors and game publishers.

With 150 speakers that included 40 international speakers, the 3-day conference saw about 80+ sessions that consisted of workshops, talks and panels across games technology, art, design and production. Conference also included CXO panels discussing the state of the Indian games industry, investment trends and their predictions for the future.

The IGDC Awards also had a record number of 150+ game entries and a new category of Popular choice quipping the interest of the audience and making the awards ceremony very engaging. 

The BYOG initiative (Build Your Own Game) also saw a record number of 700+ participants together making 170+ game submissions for the judges to evaluate. 

Day 3 of the Conference saw a new initiative called IGDC Futures being launched with the sessions focussed on opportunities in the gaming industry with the intent of encouraging the next crop of talent into the gaming industry. 

The India Game Developer Conference 2022 returned on-ground with 4000+ attendees and 60+ exhibitors, breaking into the top 5 major game developer events worldwide
