CAT: Randeep Hooda set to Appear in New Crime Drama Punjabi Series

Netflix has released the first trailer of the latest crime drama show titled, ‘CAT’.  In this show, we will see Hooda will play the role of an informant who has been forced to infiltrate the drug empire after his brother getting arrested in case of peddling narcotics.

Randeep Hooda as Gurnam Singh is an ex-police informant who returns to his old job to bust a drug cartel in Punjab. Randeep Hooda to star next in Netflix’s crime thriller CAT. This new series is mainly a combination of crime, politics, and family drama.

Actor Randeep Hooda is all set to star as a police informant in Netflix’s upcoming crime thriller CAT. Directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, the trailer of the film was released on Friday. It promises an action-packed tale that is set in Punjab and focuses on a brother’s love and espionage. 

The brand new one-and-a-half-minute trailer unveils Hooda’s character who has no such choices unless to take up a policeman’s offer to become a mole to save his brother. Gurnam is mainly a gun-wielding teenager set back while Punjab had gripped with an insurgency.  He is compelled to revive his job after years of donning a new identity and moving ahead in life. In order to save his brother, he lands himself into the underbelly of crime, politics, and corruption to bust a thriving drug cartel in Punjab. 

CAT: Cast 

Apart from Randeep, CAT has featured Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Daksh Ajit Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh, Kavya Thapar, Danish Sood, and Pramod Pathol amongst others. It is produced by Movie Tunnel Productions in Association with Jelly Bean Entertainment. The creator of CAT is Balwinder Singh Janjua known as the writer of Saand Ki  Aankh and Mubarakaan. 

CAT: Release Date

Randeep Hooda’s new series will be available in Punjabi, Hindi, and English. The film has slated to hit on 9th December.

For years now, the fans have waited anxiously to set foot back on Pandora once again and follow more of Jake and Neytiri’s story. In the 13 years since the original film, things have changed drastically with the two forming a family together and trying to make things work.

Having such a familiar threat on the rise though, they’re forced to relocate and take the fight back up against the encroaching human threat. A new trailer builds up that conflict and the stakes at risk in the return to James Cameron’s epic sci-fi world.

In the new trailer, the footages show more of the highly anticipated return to Pandora, reuniting audiences with the Sully family and all of the trouble that follows them. There’s no shortage of high-flying action, deep-sea dives, and the sparks of romance and familial connections that make Cameron’s world so compelling. 

The Way of Water is heavily expanding on the world of Pandora with a heavy focus on marine life and the native Metkayina tribe. It’s all part of Cameron’s plans to create a truly massive world to revisit throughout its multiple sequels in the upcoming years. In a previous interview with Empire, the director drew parallels to The Lord of the Rings and the expansive stories illustrated across J.R.R. Tolkien’s novels. With a massive runtime of over three hours, the film is expected to take its time acquainting audiences with the aquatic life seen throughout teasers and sowing the seeds for a grand storyline spanning the four sequels.

Many users were unable to access or update their positions due to technical issues with the Kite interface earlier in the day. Earlier in the day, users had complained about difficulties using the app. Users turned to Twitter to air their complaints, while some also submitted funny memes.

When the login procedure for the Kite portal changed in the past, the app previously reported technical issues. The sources claim that a spokesperson stated that they had no problems whatsoever. Tusshar Kapoor is coming with a new mystery thriller film titled, ‘Maarrich’. This film is close to the heart concerning this Tusshar Kapoor stated, “This movie is very close to my heart for many reasons. ‘Maarrich’ is my 2nd movie as a financer after ‘Lakshmi’ and I have been working for a very long time. After that, I am going to rejoin Naseeruddin Shah sahib.” The movie, written and directed by Dhruv Lather, has been reported as a whodunit thriller. 

The actor-producer says his character in ‘Maarrich’ is different and demanding too. Tusshar said, “The movie has questioned me as an actor on many levels as it is very opposed to the work I have been related with earlier. In this film, we will see Tusshar playing the role of a cop in the crime drama Maarrich who is looking for a serial killer affecting havoc in the city. Even So, the exact narrative of the movie has not yet been revealed by the producers. We will need to wait till we see the teaser or trailer before we can find out. 

Tusshar Kapoor, the amazing actor Dharmendra’s son who debuted in the Hindi cinema industry, has grappled to begin his acting career. Shah was currently seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial romantic drama movie Gehraiyaan whereas Tusshar is making his comeback after five long years. He was last seen in Golmaal Again which was released in Oct 2017.

HanuMan: The new Superhero Adventurous Film Will Inspire the entire World 

With the blessing of Lord HanuMan, the new teaser of the upcoming film is really great. We can’t deny that the Tollywood film industry, which is currently enjoying its golden period, is set to deliver another Pan-India film titled Hanu-Man after massive blockbusters like Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa: The Rise, etc. 

Touted to be the first superhero film of Telugu cinema, Hanu-Man is written and directed by Prasanth Varma, who is best known for directing movies like Awe and Zombie Reddy. The superhero film is expected to be released in December 2022 in Telugu and dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions. Meanwhile, it is also reported that the non-theatrical rights of the movie’s Hindi and Telugu versions have been acquired by Zee Network for a whopping Rs. 16 crores.

HanuMan

As set in the fictional universe of Anjanadri, Hanu-Man is a part of Varma’s Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. The film is inspired by the Hindu god Hanuman. As per director Prasanth Varma, the film’s title Hanuman is dedicated to many people, who, think of Lord Hanuman when they think about any superpower or superhero in Hindu mythology. 

Varma is a visionary director known for redefining Telugu culture with his ground-breaking concepts. The film was announced by him on May 29, 2021, coinciding with his birthday, and since then it has piqued the interest of Indian superhero enthusiasts. 

The filming was officially launched in June 2021 with a pooja ceremony, and the filming also started on the same day. In September 2021, Mollywood heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan launched the first look of the film. 

HanuMan: Cast 

Produced by Prime show Entertainment, the film stars promising and young talent, Teja Sajja, in the lead role of Hanumanthu. He was last seen in the sci-fi romantic film Adbhutham, which was released directly on Disney+ Hotstar in November 2021. 

Along with Teja, the film also stars Amritha Aiyer as Meenakshi, versatile actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as Anjamma, Vinai Rai as Michael, and Raj Deepak Shetty in the key role. 

HanuMan: Release Date 

Recently, the makers of the film shared some new updates about its teaser. It was confirmed that the teaser will be released on November 15, 2022, but veteran Superstar Krishna’s demise left the industry in shock, and the teaser launch event got postponed, now released on the 21st of Nov. This is a popular action and mythological drama, VFX seems rich and stunning.
