In an exciting reveal at today’s Xbox Showcase in Los Angeles, Blizzard Entertainment announced two major releases: “World of Warcraft: The War Within” is set to launch worldwide on August 27, and “Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred,” the first expansion for the 2023 hit game, will follow on October 8.
Blizzard brings in Exciting Announcements at Xbox Showcase
“It’s so exciting to be here alongside other amazing developers at Xbox Showcase to reveal our release dates for World of Warcraft: The War Within, and Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred,” stated Johanna Faries, President of Blizzard Entertainment. “These releases are kicking off what is to be an exciting next few months, which will include World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary – we will share more later in the year.”
World of Warcraft: The War Within
Blizzard is calling all heroes back to Azeroth! Starting August 26, players will embark on a new journey to save Azeroth from the looming forces of the void in “The War Within,” the 10th expansion for World of Warcraft and the first entry in the ambitious new Worldsoul Saga.
