Bittersweet Wrap: Inside the Emotional Final Days of “A Bona Fide Killer”

Seven months, countless action sequences, and one record-breaking finale later — the cast of MBC’s “A Bona Fide Killer” is saying goodbye. A newly released making-of video takes fans behind the scenes of the drama’s very last shoot, and it’s every bit as heartfelt as the show itself.

A Bona Fide Killer: Behind the Scenes of the Final Shoot

The footage opens with Kong Hyo Jin and Lee Elijah rehearsing a demanding action sequence, nailing it with surprising ease. After an emotional scene opposite Jung Jun Won, director Kim Ji Hoon praised Kong Hyo Jin for staying sharp and focused through 15 straight days of filming, juggling both romance and action without a single complaint.

As the shoot wound down, the cast gathered for the school festival scene, turning the set into something closer to a celebration than a workday. Kong Hyo Jin shared that the wrap felt like a party, and said tackling action for the first time in her career pushed her out of her comfort zone — support from the crew, she noted, made her performance as Yu Bo Na possible.

Jung Jun Won reflected on the full seven-month journey, admitting it left him with a mix of relief and sadness, while Lee Sang Yi called his run as the character chasing Kingfisher a genuinely thrilling experience, thanking fans for watching along.

A Fitting Send-Off
