Following the conclusion of Bigg Boss OTT 2, fans have been eagerly anticipating the premiere of Bigg Boss 17. Initially scheduled to commence on October 15, recent reports have indicated a postponement of the launch date to October 20, although the specific reasons behind this decision have not yet been disclosed.

In the 17th season of Bigg Boss, there are several incredible participants, including Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Soniya Bansal, Arun Mashettey, Sana Raees Khan, Navid Sole, Khaanzaadi, Anurag Dobhal, Jigna Vora, Sunny Arya, Mannara Chopra, Munawar Faruqui, Rinku Dhawan and Abhishek Kumar. In the first weekend, no one has been eliminated. On Day 10, Aishwarya, Neil, Khaanzadi, Soniya, Sana, and Sunny were nominated for the elimination.

The upcoming cricket tournament, set to commence in early October poses a significant hurdle for television ratings, particularly given the fervent cricket fandom in India. Reality shows like Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi encounter a major challenge when it comes to attracting viewership, particularly during popular sports events. Cricket, which is widely considered a religion in India, manages to capture the attention of a significant portion of the audience.

Therefore, in an effort to avoid a possible decline in Television Rating Points (TRPs), the Bigg Boss 17 organizers have chosen to alter the planned release date.
