Some love stories feel too cinematic to be real. Rapper-singer BIG Naughty just shared one that began when he was nine years old and has now ended at the altar, with a brand-new song to mark the moment.

BIG Naughty: The Announcement

On October 14, BIG Naughty personally told fans that he had tied the knot. He explained that he had decided to spend his life with the woman who appears in many of his songs, including “Vancouver” and “Vancouver 2.” Whether the news was already known to some or a surprise to others, it landed warmly.

His agency, H1GHR MUSIC, confirmed the same day that the marriage had already been legally registered, making them an official married couple.

A Love Story Fans Already Knew Parts Of

Fans may recall that in 2023 he said on KBS 2TV’s The Seasons: AKMU’s Long Day, Long Night that he was dating a woman he had quietly liked for ten years. He described it as a long-distance relationship with a non-celebrity living in Vancouver, Canada, and encouraged others not to give up on unrequited love. The “Vancouver” songs trace that very journey, which makes “Vancouver 3” feel like a natural final chapter.

What’s Next for BIG Naughty?

BIG Naughty first rose to fame on Mnet’s Show Me The Money 8 in 2019. He is currently completing mandatory military service as a public service worker. He promised that once he finishes his duty, he’ll return as a more mature version of himself, so fans have a comeback to look forward to.
