Rajkumar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, and Dia Mirza have come for a fantastic thriller drama film ‘Bheed‘ which has two days left to hit the theaters. According to the sources, the movie will hit soon on the OTT platform. Among all the stars Rajkumar Rao is definitely one of the jewels in Bollywood. At this age, the actor is continuously proving himself as a top-class and versatile actor. In this film, we will go back to the time when Indian Minister Narendra Modi declared a complete lockdown, at that time hundreds of migrant workers tried to make their way back home.

The trailer has cross-cuts between photographs from the partition to 2020 when migrant families left the cities en masse. The crowds have seen gathering at bus and train stations, trying to find a way to get back home. In this film, we really go back to the terrible pandemic era while migrants are stuck and praying to god to bring them back home. Rajkumar Rao will once again break his comfort zone. He is going to appear as the rescuer of them.

In this new trailer, I will see the migrant workers gave been beaten up and disinfectant getting sprayed on them at the time they sat on the roadside. 

Rajkummar Rao playing the role of an honest cop, said, “Justice is always in the hands of the powerful. If the powerless served justice, justice would be different.”  In this trailer, we have seen time and again that he appeared to be battling against the poor people. The clip also showed Dia Mirza crying while talking to a child over the phone. 

Kritika Kamra plays the role of a journalist. He is talking about the plight of migrant workers. She exposes a comparison between the time of the Covid-19 lockdown situation to that of the Partition of India in 1947. Pankaj Kapur doesn’t allow kids on his bus to eat food given to them by Muslim men amid rumors of infection being spread after Tablighi Jamat. 

Bhumi Pednekar appeared for playing the role of a doctor who set out to bring about a change with Rajkummar. The trailer concluded with Ashutosh Rana slapping Rajkummar at the time of asking ‘do you want to be a hero?’ An emotional Rajkummar replied, “Why not sir? I want to be a hero too. How long must I serve them?” 

Bheed OTT: Cast 

The film has been directed by Anubhav Sinha, the shot was extensively in Lucknow, the film is jointly produced by Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar. Bheed also features Virendra Saxena, Aditya Shrivastav, and Karan Pandit. 

Bheed us mainly represents the struggles of the migrant workers that have changed everything for humanity. In this, the key objective of shooting the movie in black-and-white was to unveil how the visuals of the social disparity during India’s Lockdown were strikingly similar to what people went through during the 1947 India partition. In this film, we will know about the people whose lives are getting changed in a snap and the colors. 

Bheed OTT: Release Date 

Rajkumar Rao’s upcoming pandemic movie will hit into theaters on 24^th March 2023. This film will definitely release on the OTT platform. We are expecting that we can watch this film on Netflix or Disney + Hoststar. If the film is hit into the theaters in March 2023, we are expecting the movie will come on the OTT within May 2023.
