Likely, the lengthy wait for Battlegrounds Mobile India, also known as BGMI, to return will soon be over. Recently, a News18 report appeared on the scene and mentioned that the decision to lift the ban on the title had already been made. The same report also claims that the Government of India will recheck the title three months after it has been banned, provided that any necessary revisions have been made.
With several content creators making bold claims and reports suggesting a potential comeback, the recent rumors surrounding BGMI have grown more intense. As was already mentioned, a report from News18 yesterday that shared a significant update on the potential lifting of the ban on the game exploded the internet.
According to the report, it was decided to lift the BGMI ban with a few modifications during a meeting.
But for at least three months, GOI will carefully examine the title to see if it complies with the Government’s rules and regulations. This PUBG Mobile revamp developed by KRAFTON, has not yet provided a date for when it will be unbanned. The ones we just mentioned are merely reports and therefore, players should hold off until the official announcement from KRAFTON or the Indian government.
Gamers have been impatiently awaiting the return of BGMI, one of the most well-liked Battle Royale games in India. Consequently, anticipation for the unban will always be high. To get any clarity on the matter, we must therefore wait a few more days or even weeks.
