The Moment That Changes Everything — Players Now Build the Game
The headline feature of 4.4 isn’t a brand collaboration or a new map mode — it’s the BGMI Design Contest (BDC) Spin, running June 16 to July 17. For the first time in the game’s five-year history, cosmetics conceived and designed by BGMI players during the Diwali 2025 Design Contest are now permanent, premium in-game collectibles available via a dedicated Spin.
Seven items are included, among them the Fortune Teller AWM gun skin. These aren’t community participation trophies — they’re proper, purchasable collectibles sitting alongside the game’s most coveted items. It’s a genuinely historic shift in how the game relates to its community.
The Big Collabs: Ford and Harley-Davidson Rev Into the Battlegrounds
BGMI has always understood that its players don’t just play games — they have aspirations, tastes, and cultural references that extend far beyond the screen. The Ford Collaboration (May 20 – July 7) brings two iconic car skins in dual colour variants via the Motor Cruise mechanic. The Harley-Davidson Collaboration (May 29 – July 11) adds four exclusive bike skins through the Special Crate.
Together, they mark a new chapter in BGMI’s brand partnership story — one that feels genuinely aspirational rather than just cosmetic.
Hero’s Crown: Erangel Goes Ancient Greek
The Hero’s Crown Theme Mode (May 20 – July 14) is perhaps the most visually spectacular addition. Four areas of Erangel are reimagined with a Hellenistic aesthetic, Ruins and Ferry Pier get complete overhauls, and a Greek-style floating island — Crown’s Abode — is introduced with both PvP and PvE zones. Five mythology-inspired trials earn Glory points that determine mid-match elevation. The Dinoground Theme Mode also makes its first-ever BGMI appearance on Erangel from June 8.
Flash Crew — Building Teams, Not Just Squads
New to 4.4 is Flash Crew, a smart squad-matching system that pairs players based on playstyle compatibility and rewards consistent play together. Each player can join up to 20 squads of 20 members. It’s the social layer BGMI has been building toward.
