The Announcement That Melted the Internet

They’re about becoming ready — together. And just when you think your story is complete, life adds the most beautiful chapter. Still soaking it in… still smiling for no reason… With our hearts full of gratitude. We are expecting.”

It’s the kind of announcement that doesn’t just make news — it makes you pause and feel something.

Vivek revealed to Times of India that the news didn’t land with a burst of joy all at once. It started with disbelief, then a moment of panic, before settling into a quiet, deep happiness over the following months. He said the news felt like someone had rewritten their script overnight — and now he feels completely ready to embrace fatherhood and the responsibility it brings.

Divyanka, for her part, is approaching this chapter with characteristic grace. At 41, she’s choosing not to let age be a fear. As she put it, it should instead become a source of strength. Spoken like someone who has spent decades building a career on quiet, unwavering resilience.

Divyanka Tripathi is one of Indian television’s biggest stars, known for her iconic role in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein opposite Karan Patel — the show that also brought her and Vivek together professionally before they wed in 2016. The couple, affectionately known by fans as DiVek, have been one of TV’s most celebrated real-life love stories for nearly a decade.
