Reports suggest the BCCI will have an overseas auction in turkey for the very first time. Istanbul, Turkey is considered to be a good decision, however, Bengaluru is considered to be a backup. The IPL Auction is supposed to be held on December 16. Currently, BCCI and IPL GC are in the talking stage with the 10 franchises.

The mini-auction is going to be a one-day affair. The BCCI is considering to hold a workshop and an entire trip to Turkey in three in four days.

The IPL will start last week of March, tentatively around the 22nd or 23rd. A final decision will be taken in the IPL Governing Council Meeting.
