During the tournament, Shubman Gill emerged as the most popular player, while Akash Madhwal gained significant attention as the most chosen debutant. Other notable players who captured users’ interest included Rashid Khan, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Faf Du Plessis, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Surya Kumar Yadav, Md. Shami, Mohit Sharma, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Saurabh Chopra, Co-Founder and CEO at BalleBaazi, expressed delight at the increased user engagement, emphasizing how the Indian Premier League serves as a platform to celebrate talented players and unlikely partnerships. Chopra also highlighted the significance of fantasy gaming platforms like BalleBaazi, offering users the opportunity to participate in the tournament and interact with fellow cricket enthusiasts. BalleBaazi witnessed over 1 million active users during the IPL season and welcomed half a million new users to its network.

The release further elaborated on the newly introduced formats. Fantasy Wars engages users in a battle to predict the superiority of their fantasy teams throughout the game. On the other hand, Stats Fantasy evaluates various statistics, including pitch conditions, teams playing, and weather, among other factors.

As BalleBaazi recently celebrated its fifth-year anniversary, it has quickly become a preferred fantasy gaming platform for Indians. The introduction of captivating formats like Stats Fantasy and Fantasy Wars has contributed to its popularity.
