The upcoming next-generation VivoBook from ASUS has been spotted on the UserBenchmark database powered by an 8 core Intel Alder Lake-P Mobility CPU. In the database, we have found three entries of the ASUS VivoBook X1603ZA laptop & all three are based on the same Alder Lake-P Mobility CPU configuration.

When we compare this model with other previous ones, we can find that the manufacturer has been quite generous with this one by giving a nice boost to the overall laptop with a 16″ configuration that’s currently not available.

The specifications of the device include an Intel Alder Lake-P CPU which features 8 cores & 12 threads. As far as we know, the CPU is based on 4 Golden Cove (8 Thread) and 4 Gracemont cores (4 Thread) and the device from ASUS seems to be an early prototype as its clock speeds are reported at a measly 1 GHz base clock and an average boost speed of up to 2.6 GHz.

The CPU is a very powerful one and in its early state can easily be compared to the Core i7-1185G7 within the same CPU benchmark. The CPU from the Alder Lake lineup scored 153 points in single-core and 739 points in multi-core tests while the Tiger Lake-based Core i7-1185G7 scores 159 points in single-core and 582 points in multi-core tests.

Other specifications include 16 GB of DDR4-3200 dual-channel memory, a 1 TB Micron NVMe Gen 4 SSD, and Intel UHD graphics which should feature up to 96 Xe Execution Units.
