ASUS brings its ROG Zephyrus G16 (2023) laptop with Raptor Lake CPUs

Asus offered a slew of ROG Zephyrus G14 and G15 gaming laptops with varying hardware options last year. These setups, however, centred around the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor, which was paired with AMD Radeon and NVIDIA GeForce mobile graphics solutions. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 is a new addition to the Zephyrus G range, including an Intel processor and NVIDIA graphics.

It will be available in many variations, each with a different price tag, but the most expensive option will combine Intel’s latest mobile Raptor Lake CPU and a variety of Nvidia’s RTX 40-series graphics cards.

The specifications become even more astounding for the Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 2023

We have up to 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory (upgradable to 48GB with a single SO-DIMM slot), a maximum storage capacity of 2TB, and many of connectivity options, including Thunderbolt 4 and DisplayPort 2.0.

While the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 is amazing on the inside, it does not appear to disappoint on the outside. Again, other configurations are available, but the 16-inch screen can be mini-LED IPS QHD, IPS QHD, or IPS FHD, with refresh rates as high as 240MHz in QHD and 165Hz in FHD.

With these specifications, this laptop is going to be one of those beefy gaming beasts that requires constant recharging, but Asus promises a 90Wh battery with USB-C charging up to 100W to make gaming on the road a little more feasible.
