ASUS ROG Zephyrus 2026: Dual 3K OLED & Intel Panther Lake

ASUS ROG unveiled its 2026 Zephyrus lineup at CES with Intel Panther Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 400 processors, headlined by the world’s first dual 16-inch OLED gaming laptop. The Zephyrus Duo features two 3K 120Hz ROG Nebula HDR touchscreens totaling 21+ inches diagonal, RTX 5090 GPU at 135W, and five operation modes starting Q2 2026.

ASUS Zephyrus Duo: Dual-Screen Revolution

The Zephyrus Duo redefines portable workstations with dual full-size 16-inch 3K OLED panels delivering 1,100 nits peak brightness, 0.2ms response, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. Both touchscreens provide 100% DCI-P3 coverage with Delta E <1 color accuracy—professional-grade displays out-of-the-box.

Five operation modes maximize versatility: Dual Screen Mode removes the magnetic keyboard for instant multi-monitor setups; Laptop Mode provides standard clamshell experience; Sharing Mode flips 180° for collaborative meetings; Tent Mode enables local multiplayer; Book Mode positions portrait screens for coding and web browsing. The 320° hinge with 90° kickstand enables seamless transitions.

Zephyrus G16 & G14: Refined Performance

The G16 packs Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with 50 TOPS NPU compute plus RTX 5090 GPU at boosted 160W TGP (up from 130W). The 2.5K 240Hz OLED display with 1,100 nits brightness delivers stunning HDR while maintaining sub-2kg weight. CNC-milled aluminum chassis houses 90Wh battery with 50% charge in 30 minutes via 250W adapter.

The G14 offers dual processor options: Intel Core Ultra Series 3 or AMD Ryzen AI 400 (both 50 TOPS NPU). Graphics reach RTX 5080 at 130W TGP (increased from 120W). At just 1.5kg starting weight, the 3K 120Hz OLED G14 delivers flagship performance in ultraportable form with Platinum White or conservative colorways.

ROG Intelligent Cooling features redesigned bottom panels with improved ventilation and optimized exhaust vents maintaining quiet operation under heavy loads. Vapor chamber technology dissipates heat efficiently despite ultra-thin profiles. Six-speaker audio systems (2 tweeters + 4 woofers) enhance immersive experiences.

The detachable magnetic Duo keyboard features 1.7mm key travel despite 5.1mm profile thickness. An expanded touchpad enables seamless multi-touch navigation across operation modes. Bluetooth wireless functionality works in any configuration, with USB-C cable controlling the full-surface “Lightning Panel” display showing real-time system stats.
