ASUS announces AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT Graphics Cards

From hybrid liquid cooling to bang-for-the-buck performance and features, there is a specially engineered choice for everyone

MUMBAI, India, May 11, 2022 — ASUS today announced the launch of three different AMD Radeon™ RX graphics cards: the Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT and Radeon RX 6650 XT, with six custom versions from ASUS for gamers of all stripes.

The new graphics cards leverage the breakthrough AMD RDNA™ 2 gaming architecture, include process optimizations and software and firmware enhancements, and offer high-bandwidth, low-latency AMD Infinity Cache™ memory technology and ultra-fast 18 Gbps GDDR6 memory.

They also support Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft DirectX® 12 Ultimate, AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR), the forthcoming AMD FSR 2.0 and AMD Radeon Super Resolution upscaling technologies, as well as other advanced features that provide visually stunning, high-refresh-rate gaming experiences.

The ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6950 XT combines high-end gaming prowess with liquid cooling

Since its release, the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards have wowed high-end and budget gamers alike. For a rig that takes no prisoners, the ultra-powerful ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics cards bring top-tier AMD RDNA 2 architecture performance with a built-in overclock and a custom liquid cooling solution. Its full-coverage cold plate cools all the Super Alloy Power II premium components underneath, alongside a 240 mm radiator to ensure that gamers get the absolute most from this monster performer.

Plus, its low-profile 2.2 slot heatsink means users can fit this card in more compact spaces, though it’s 600 mm tubing run makes it compatible with roomy E-ATX cases as well. A blower fan keeps the VRM performing at its best, and Super Alloy Power II premium components ensure this card will stand the test of time.

The radiator comes bundled with two ASUS 120 mm ARGB fans, which are Aura Sync compatible just like the RGB on the shroud — so the whole system will look amazing. And with two FanConnect II fan headers on the card, users can create custom fan curves that keep the right components cool when under pressure.

The TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6950 XT showcases world-class performance and durability

For a more traditional air-cooled card with premium performance, ASUS delivers the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 6950 XT graphics card. Its 2.9-slot heatsink with MaxContact Technology offers massive cooling potential, particularly when paired with the three updated Axial-tech fans. Optimized 0 dB technology ensures these fans turn off entirely under low loads, only spinning up when temperatures reach 60°C.

TUF Gaming cards are designed to take beatings as well as they dole them out. The shroud is made of tough metal, while the underside is protected with its own armor, thanks to a stainless steel I/O bracket and strong vented backplate. A dual BIOS switch lets users choose between maximum performance and quieter operation, while an Aura Sync-compatible logo syncs with the rest of a machine’s RGB for a stylish and unified look. Top-tier performance combined with unparalleled durability means this card will truly stand the test of time.

The ROG Strix Radeon RX 6750 XT maxes out style and substance

The ROG Strix line is all about offering best-in-class performance with an abundance of features. It all starts with some of the best cooling in a graphics card today: a 2.9-slot heatsink with MaxContact Technology provides abundant surface area for heat dissipation, aided by three upgraded Axial-tech fans for maximum airflow with less noise. Fans operate silently with 0 dB technology until the GPU reaches 60°C, and a dual BIOS switch gives users the choice between cranking performance to the max or keeping the fans quieter. The card’s FanConnect II headers even let users sync their case fans with GPU temperature for optimal cooling.

Strix offers just as much form as it does function, with RGB lighting that spans the length of its fiercely-designed shroud, compatible with all other Aura Sync components. The backplate adds both flourish and stability, with a vent for the rightmost fan to efficiently dissipate heat. The stainless steel I/O bracket and reinforced metal frame provide extra durability for the Super Alloy Power II premium components, rounding out an excellent card that is sure to be the centrepiece of any build it graces.

The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6750 XT is big on performance but small in size

While thick, triple-fan designs offer superb cooling at low noise levels, compact PCs require more compact graphics cards. The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6750 XT takes excellent performance and packs it into a card that will fit in just about any small form factor build. Two Axial-tech fans with dual ball bearings direct airflow right where it is needed most, with the fans turning off completely under 55°C for peaceful silence during low-load tasks. A dual BIOS switch lets users customize their experience with maximum performance or low-noise optimized settings.

A small lighting strip graces the top of the shroud, while a protective backplate provides both a clean look and support to the PCB. ASUS Auto-Extreme Technology allows for pristine manufacturing with as little human intervention as possible, before a 144-hour validation that ensures excellent performance and longevity right out of the box. With its more compact size and accessible price, the Dual Radeon RX 6750 XT offers unrivaled bang for the buck.

The ROG Strix Radeon RX 6650 XT packs high-end features into an accessible package

If users want the features and flair of a Strix card with the affordability of a mid-range offering, the ROG Strix Radeon RX 6650 XT is the graphics card for them. Smaller than the Strix Radeon RX 6750 XT, it has a similarly savage shroud covering the dual half-width Axial-tech fans atop a 2.9-slot design that provides excellent heat dissipation for the powerful GPU underneath. The 0 dB technology only spins up the fans at 60°C, so users can enjoy peaceful silence during lighter workloads. The dual BIOS allows users to continue their quest for quiet operation or max outperformance with the flick of a switch.

Like the Strix and TUF cards, the ROG Strix Radeon RX 6650 XT is built with Super Alloy Power II premium components, a vented backplate and a stainless steel I/O bracket. An RGB logo on the right side of the shroud integrates with the rest of the system via Aura Sync for a unified look that is anything but subtle.

The ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6650 XT delivers all the essentials

Finally, if gamers are looking for some of the best value on the market, the ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6650 XT brings all the midrange performance they could want in a card with only the must-haves. Its Axial-tech fan design with dual ball fan bearings provides ample cooling that stays silent under light loads, while Auto-Extreme Technology ensures excellent durability and longevity.

The stylish but under-the-radar shroud design keeps a build looking sleek, with a protective backplate and stainless steel I/O bracket that keep the card stable to do what it does best: Pump out frames in all the latest games.
